Seong San Loi | Good location to take public boat, easy to visit Wats by boat transportation, but the boat off at 7:30 pm, the road side foods are good, especially at lunch time. River view nice and quiet. If not boat transportation feel far go to Siam and MBK. Go airport about about 45 min at not rush hour. | 7.4/10 |

Glenys ODempsey | As usual we arrived to the friendly helpful Royal River Hotel. Upon our request we were shown to a HUGE river view room. The size of the room is exceptional but I feel a little updating of the room would be beneficial. Everytime we visit Bangkok we stay at the Royal River and enjoy the Hotel very much. | 5.8/10 |

Douglas Crossfield | I found the hotel to be kind of old ,needs some upgrading.Breakfast was good.The first morning at 8am someone up above our room decided to rip out some tile with a hammer and chisel,so not too pleasent.good location to watch fireworks for king s birthday. | 6.2/10 |

ronald mensing | This hotel has lousy management. After travelling for two days, we checked into the hotel asking for a quiet room. What did we get, construction overhead and lots of noise. When I asked to speak to the manager, she took forever to come to the front desk, never introduced herself and had almost NO manners. A young child of about 8 was shouting behind the counter, with guest infront, and nobody asked the child to keep it down. Food was ok. But the manager, couldn t manage a toilet capably. Will never go back again. | 4.8/10 |

rider Serafino | It s a nice hotel. You take what you pay I would say...But don t expect to make friends from the stuff. There is not smile or friendly behavior from anyone there. In the restaurant you will see in their face that they have problems. For any problem with reception just contact thailand friends. They will resolve your problems... | 5.8/10 |

Tanja Uttula-Saarinen | Our family of four just returned from Royal River Hotel, Bangkok. The deluxe room with extra bed was spacious and we had good view towards Chao Phraya river. Actually, we ended up spending lots of time on the balcony watching river boats and traffic on the Krung Thon Bridge nearby. The fact that the hotel is a bit far from the city center (MBK and Victory Monument) was excellent, as the red protesters were far as well! We felt safe and OK in the hotel and should wish to recommend it to others, too. The rate and quality anre fair here, it is a good three star hotel. | |

Benjamin Robert Buckley | The hotel was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the deluxe river front room. The room was nice with a good view over the river and city. It is about a 20 - 30 min drive from main airport (depending on traffic). | |

Chua Wai Mun | The Hotel was great, very spacious as I booked the suite room. The location is great for those who are tired of high rise buildings. The staff of the hotel not very helpful as nobody oriented us on the room when we check in. As we booked the suite room, we don t know that actually the living room need to be enter separately from another door outside, we wasted 2 hrs beofre we figure out the orientation of the suite room in this hotel. The toilet was not clean properly, you could see stains. I wonder if a sutie room could have this kind of things happening, what will be like in the deluxe & standard room..?? Overall,ok.

Joanne Lauterjung | The rooms are nice, and the staff is very helpful. The location is right next to a river taxi stop, but it was difficult getting taxis to take us back at night from the Suan Lum night market. It was a little difficult communicating with the front desk staff at times - not everyone s English was very good. We were talked into an expensive private car to the airport one morning, but later found out there are plenty of taxis 24 hours a day. We booked a tour to the floating market that was a good price, much better than booking the tour at the airport. I was disappointed with the Thai massage at the hotel - nowhere near as good as four years ago when I was there. | |
