5th October 2010 ZHU XIAOXIN | Terrible & Evil Hotel Greeters. First day(03-OCT-2010) before we checked in, the Hotel Greeter on duty helped the bad taxi driver, who overchaged us by refusing to use meter, to escape, other than call police as we required. Third day (05-OCT-201), another Hotel Greeter on duty offered a fairly high price for taxi driver. Though we refused and insisted on using meter, the taxi driver detoured and still overcharged us. Bad experience. There may be dirty deal between hotel greeter and taxi driver. Though evil driver is not a member of the hotel, the Greeter is! there exists weak supervison on these greeters. | 4.2/10 |
5th October 2010 TAN DELONG | I don t know why the hotel greeter(morining on 05-OCT-2010) actively offered a quitely high price for the taxi driver. He is on the side of bad taxi driver who cheated us later. It is farily probable that the greeter and bad drivers have got dirty deals. So, watch out when asking the hotel to call taxi for you. | 4.2/10 |
8th September 2010 Robert | We enjoyed the good and very friendly service at the hotel. The effort for the accomondation rate is okay, the rooms were clean and furnished in a way we expect for a middle class hotel.
The Hotel is located near the Khaosan Road, about 5 minutes to go, or you can choose the free tuctuc service from the hotel. We selected the hotel twice and were satisfied with this decision. | 6.8/10 |
27th July 2010 Anthony Drane | Shame www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com and Hotel de Moc for half ruining our last couple of days in Thailand. I received and email that our reservation was confirmed with the hotel but when we arrived they claimed they had nothing for us. One reception staff member virtually blamed us for the lack of a reservation, telling my wife we should have booked earlier! After printing the email as proof that we had booked and indeed paid in advance we were given a back room that was not fit for anyone. The noise of the hotel central air-con unit was unbearable and prevented any chance of a good nights sleep. Main point is it was NOT the room we had paid for ( including no views or balcony as we should have had).
Next morning I had to complain to get a move to another room but it meant we had to move our luggage down to reception and be out of a room until late afternoon before another was ready for us. This is very poor treatment of paid customers. The 2nd night was peaceful in a good room but we paid for 2 nights of that and only got one. Never again. Mistakes can t be helped it s how you treat customers after that counts. Hotel de Moc failed.

30th June 2010 Diana Petersen | The hotel was excellent in every way. It was right in town, clean and they provide a super breakfast in the price. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful and they also provide a free Tuk Tuk service to Khao San Road. A very good find! Great pool also. | 9.4/10 |
22nd May 2010 Per Niclas Odengard | A pretty good middle class hotell. The staff was nice, but a little bit eager to get money. For instande they charged me 15 bath/page when I used the printer.
The pool area is quite good, apart from that it´s situated in front of the hotell along a street. Just a thin bamboo fence separating the pool from Bangkoks traffic = noicy.
The room had a vague smell of mowl.
I payed 1400 bath a night, thats what its worth - no more. | 6/10 |
20th March 2010 Janez and Marija Glavic | After two months, we again chose this hotel before leaving for the airport. We stayed 3 nights - (January 6 night) In both cases we were very happy because we had the impression that the staff is friendly and helpfully. We ll definitely be re-visited next year. The breakfast was for farangs not well only bread fried egg and strawberry jam. If you want to stay an other night the best you can do is booking by internet because otherwise the price is more as double. | 7/10 |

2nd January 2010 Donna Neha | Looks likes like a old 1950 s hospital inside, rooms have been modinised, small bathrooms. free tuktuk to market area during day but otherwise its more out of the way from river and Skyrail. Rooms facing front of hotel much better, nice pool and staff very friendly. Like always you get what you pay for. | 6/10 |
