Princess Cafe
Princess Cafe is for all-day dining, being open all day from breakfast
through to midnight. There is seating for 120 people in a long elegant
room that bases its design upon late 19th century Thai-European style.
Thai food is on the menu here, with a selection of some of the most
popular regional Thai dishes. There is also an extensive list of international
dishes.
Service is either a la carte or by buffets available
for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The Empress
Fine regional Chinese dishes with an emphasis on Cantonese cuisine
are served at The Empress, a cozy restaurant on the ground floor of
the hotel with a contemporary Chinese decor of white paneled walls and
comfortable red seating.
The restaurant serves a very popular
dim sum lunch each day, and the menu includes Cantonese classics including
shark fin soup, bird nest soup and Peking Duck.
The Empress is
well known amongst local residents and business people as a venue for
meeting and for celebrating, and it has a number of private rooms.

Mikado
Authentic Japanese food is served at Mikado in a Japanese setting
that includes sunken tables and with pleasant views out to the hotel
gardens.
Fresh sushi and sashimi are prepared at the sushi bar,
and there are teppanyaki and other classic Japanese dishes including
sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. The drinks list includes sake and Japanese
beer.
Service at Mikado is by elegantly dressed hostesses and
the atmosphere is authentically Japanese.

Piccolo
Piccolo bases its menu on the cuisine of the Tuscany region, and
serves zesty Italian specialties with flair.
Decor of the restaurant
tends towards the traditional farmhouse style, and there is room to
seat 50 people. The menu features an excellent selection of freshly
made pasta, and classical Italian favorites. There are regular promotions
featuring seasonal specialties and the dishes of other regions.
An excellent selection of carefully chosen Italian wines accompanies
the cuisine.

Lobby Lounge & Bar
The Lobby Lounge is light and spacious, with comfortable seating
and a large glass wall allowing a view out to the hotel entrance. With
well-spaced chairs and tables, there is seating here for 40 persons.
Open from 8 am to midnight, light refreshments are available all
day and a full range of cocktails is served. Alternatively, guests may
sit and relax without ordering anything. Courtesy newspapers are on
offer.
This is a popular and convenient meeting spot, and during
the evening live music is performed to make this an ideal venue to relax.

Nice hotel with nice facilities, easy to get to anywhere in the old town from, just a short Tuk Tuk ride away or walk. Pool was lovely, rooms very nice and all food drink at hotel was very good.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms are big and ok. We were on the 6th floor. Had a funny smell of that dirty old rug. I guess it was the Carpet. They Should do some thing about the smell.

Very nice and a lively and lovely place. Located in a peaceful side of the city and less noise compared to staying in Sukhumvit and Silom areas. Room rate is reasonable while breakfast and dinner a la carte were good. Cleanliness was maintained well and dry leaves were swept away quickly. Could see the landscape from the room which means the area was not polluted badly. Located near to attraction and tourist places

I have been regularly travelling to Bangkok for over 15 years and have normally stayed in a 4 star hotel in the Sukhumvit area. This was the first time that I have used the Royal Princess after a colleague s recommendation. This may be considered a dated hotel but it can be seen that the building fabric has been maintained and kept at a very good standard. It is located in an area off the normal tourist track but that is no real problem as all areas of Bangkok can be easily accessed by public transport and taxi. The quality and quantities of the fare presented at the buffet breakfast and on the room service menu was particularly worthy of note. This can also be said of the staff;it was noticeable that real effort was exercised by the staff to make the guest experience enjoyable and memorable.I was entirely satisfied with the Royal Princess product and think it is good value for money and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

the location of the hotel is quite good, it is a very short ride to major attractions in the city, such as Grand Palace and Kao San Rd. it is difficult to hail a taxi when you walks out by yourself there, so when go out it is better to ask the front desk for help.
The hotel room is very comfortable and spacious, very clean. however, if you stay in a room facing the major street, the traffic noise will keep you awake most of the night, the major reason is that the glass sliding door to the balcony has only one layer of glass which is not good enough as a double layer,insulated glass door for sound proofing.
so when checking in, be sure to ask a room facing swimming pool which will enable you a quite night.
the hotel staff are well trained and very nice. The service quality is very approapriate to the price it charges.

We enjoyed our stay in Royal Princess very much, room was really good but mostly we enjoyed the breakfast buffe, so much to choose from,the pool seemed nice too, staff ok and helpful, but i think you get more personal service at a smaller hotel,but we would definately come back to this hotel, already recommended to friends.

this place is excelent if you are looking for a quite and friendly place in bangkok for a your stay. staff at the reception is giving you a warm welcome and friendly help, rooms are very clean, large, room service is perfect, breakfast is good, pool is a great place to swim in the morning or spent some spare time in the afternoon. it is good to book a room that faces the pool (and not the noisy street-side). great value.

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. We walked from the hotel to Chinatown, Dusit Park and MBK, often faster to walk than go by taxi. Nice poolarea, good breakfast and large rooms.

This is a very nice hotel and a very good location. The room is clean, and the service at the reception is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, and the pool is perfect in the middle of Bangkok. Great value for money. We stayed at Royal Princess twice this year and once last year. Will definately return once in Bangkok.

Very nice hotel, central location, good value for money. Walking distance to Grand Palace etc. Room was nice, with view of pool. Only complaints were hard beds and small fitness room - only 1 treadmill and 1 exercise bike.
