10th August 2011 Miller/kaprakhon | The hotel as always is 100%. The receptionist whom I always had problems with seems to be gone and replaced by cheerful and efficient staff. Excellent! | 8.6/10 |
21st January 2011 Hugh Miller | The check-in agent was absolutely hopeless. Took ages after he finally acknowledged we had a reservation. Then we were assigned the wrong room. BUT....after it was all sorted out enjoyed the hotel very much. Great location, quiet and loads of atmosphere. | 8.6/10 |
21st January 2011 sakal dmitry | very good hotel | 8/10 |
14th October 2010 Nickel | Nice small Hotel. The breakfast is unsatisfactory because slowly refill instead finds. | 6.8/10 |
12th September 2010 PHAN HUYNH MINH | Nice hotel, in room No.310 you need check air conditioning and the sink pipe leaked water. | 7.8/10 |
22nd February 2010 Phuture | location not so good (10mins from BTS)
no elevator if you stay at 3rd floor
air con in the room too noisy
water pressure too weak while taking a shower
breakfast not so recommended | 4/10 |
24th November 2009 Jarle Kristian Herheim | Breakfast a little simple, but ok. Fresh juice?
Will stay here again. Value for money. | 6.6/10 |
28th July 2009 Katherine Morrison | this hotel was beautiful with excellent service and staff who were extremly helpful. It s location was perfect, easy to get around Bangkok from here. the rooms were a good size and very cosy. Felt like home. | 9.42857142857/10 |
13th June 2009 MILIOLI LARA | Very nice hotel.
11th May 2009 Ward De Meulder | Great little hotel right in one of the most desired areas in bkk. excellent staff, original interior design. not great for people with walking difficulties as there are no lifts (they gladly help you out with your luggage though)Good breakfast and ever so helpfull staff, my first choice in bangkok!
3rd April 2009 jean-marc Lestic | Service is not very good.
The guy at the entrance likes to discuss with customers, which is good, but after you discover this is only to try to make you go to buy things at specific places ( sponsored by the government , yeah right...)
The desk service is very inefficient as well. 3 employees, and it took 40 minutes to check out.
The room is OK. The TV looks really nice, too bad you can only watch 6 channels.
I would recommend to bring earplugs as the A/C are just outside the rooms (and not on the roof) which is very noisy.
Skytrain (BTS) is approx 10 min walk, safe area.
Summary: not a disaster, but too expensive for what you get.
2nd April 2009 joy-leena buys | This was a pleasant hotel to stay. Very well located and close to the sky train. The concierge I felt could have been a bit more helpful. All he was concerned about was trying to get us on tours. When we said we had made plans he wasn t interested in helping us with transport and we were left to find our own way.
23rd February 2009 Andrea Schmidt | Very nice hotel. Great location. Staff a bit confused (as booking confirmation via www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com was not received) but very, very friendly.
29th January 2009 Stephen Otoko Sebastian TAN | Heritage Baan @ Silom is such a beautiful colonial styled hotel, we only intended to stay for 2 nights. But the front reception left a positive impression & we extended another 3 nights stay there. Ms Meung & Ms Nuch were the STARs, great service. Ms Nuch was very motivated and projected very positive vibes and service attitude.
Thanks Ms Meung & Ms Nuch! :)
Small Issue:
When I first arrived, guests in Rm 303 asked that their room be sprayed with insect repellent. Initially, I thought that was strange, until I was bitten by mosquitoes too. I highlighted & requested for the insect repellent sprayed in my room at 306.
Housekeeping standard has not been very consistent, especially after 2 days. I noticed that the housekeeping standard dropped as we stayed longer.
19th March 2008 Michael C | Nice boutique hotel located in quiet area on Silom. It s about a 7 minute walk to nearest Surasek BTS station. The decor is very modern and free internet with their own restaurant. I cannot comment on the restaurant as I did not eat there, but the decor is very chic and modern.
As for the room, it s large with hardwood floors (a big plus in my world). However, the sink was designed with a flaw. The faucet where the water comes out basically touches the sink, leaving little room for your hands. the bathroom seemed like a rush job, with floor tiling looking old compared to rest of rooms and a big hole in one of the corners. little details could make a big difference for some.
overall, it s a bit expensive for its value, but if you want to be close to the river on the quiet side of Silom, this is worth it. Staff is friendly.
14th March 2008 Allan Benfield | Hello
Indeed a very smart Boutique style place.
The Staff all well groomed and speak fairly good English.( except the Restaurant Waitress)
The staff very eager to please and very polite.
The rooms well appointed.
The Curtains let in too much Light.
I have no problem but it should be noted that this Hotel does NOT have an Elevator.
Internet connection in the room is Free as is the PC in the Lobby.
One point on my first night I asked if my Car was OK to be left in the place I parked it....Yes no problem.
I was in Bed and had a phone call ... could I give them the Keys to move the Car...I did and asked the keys be returnd there were.
In the morning I noted THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN MOVED!
Buffet Breakfast let the hotel down very badly...
Very meagre and poor quality food.
The Hot Food ALL Cold on 3 of my 4 Days as the Burners not lit!
Stone Cold fried Eggs and Bacon!!!
I was asked on the 3rd Day if I would like something cooked and I opted for an Omelette which was extremely small.
My opinion is that they should have FULL table service to order and do away with the Buffet.
Cost wise this hotel is expensive at 2,800 Baht a night.
Compared say with other places it is OVER PRICED.
My usual hotel Tarntawan is 2,200... has full service and Breakfast 24 hours a day!
