The Bodhi Serene Hotel derives its name from the Bodhi Tree that grew on the premises. The name Bodhi is a partial translation of the Sinhalese word "Bo-gaha" or tree of wisdom because it was the tree under which the Buddha was enlightened. The Bodhi tree attains great size and age; the leaves, which hang from long, flexible petioles, rustle in the slightest breeze.

Deluxe Room - With a mere 27 Deluxe class guest rooms to offer, guests can be sure of exclusivity. Each room comes with a private balcony that stretches out to our tropical garden. Rich in decor and lined with quality hardwood floors, the 40 sq.m. room projects quality for value. It is perfect for honeymooners, as well as leisure travelers who have discerning taste for an exotic blend of neo-eastern ambience.

Executive Room - There are 6 executive class guest rooms altogether that come with both single and twin beds. The rooms offer uncompromising views of our courtyard and ornamental waterfall surrounded by a lush tropical garden. Tastefully decorated in contemporary Lanna style with a hint of Chinese decor, the 45 sq.m. room ensures that you are immersed in an ambience that's both serene and relaxing.

1 Bedroom Suite - Our 1 Bedroom Suite covers 58 sq.m. and is perfect for couples or single travelers. The Suite comes with a spacious bathroom including both a capacious bathtub and a shower stall and a common living room area. It is furnished with all modern amenities such as a flat screen television set with DVD/CD/MP3 players.

2 Bedroom Suite - Our 2 Bedroom Suite covers 116 sq.m. of space which is ideal for a small family of 4-6 persons. The Suite comes with a kitchenette, 2 separate spacious bathrooms with shower stalls, capacious bathtubs and a common living room area. It is furnished with modern amenities such as 2 flat screen television sets with DVD/CD/MP3 players.

RESTAURANT & BAR

The Bodhi Restaurant The Bodhi Restaurant delivers the best of both eastern and western fares for both in-house and discerning local patrons. Our amazing cuisine ranges from traditional northern delights such as Sai Ur, which is a delectable sausage. Or perhaps you wish to indulge in one of our many delectable international dishes. You will dine in a distinctive exotic atmosphere overlooking our plush swimming pool for your added dining enjoyment. Service Hours Breakfast 07:00 am. - 10:00 am. Lunch 11:00 am. - 03:00 pm. Dinner 06:00 pm. - 11:00 pm. The Ficus Bar The Ficus Bar or our poolside bar offer light snacks, alcoholic beverages and cocktails for those who enjoy lounging around the pool with a good book or simply soaking up the sun while taking a relaxing dip in our swimming pool. It is located within the old city walls of downtown Chiang Mai surrounded by many ancient temples and is a mere 20 minutes from the airport, the train station as well as the bus terminal. It is also visually and architecturally stunning with an exotic Lanna style influenced by Chinese designs.

The Bodhi Serene Chiang Mai is located close to Tha Pae Gate in the heart of the city of Chiang Mai, is just 10 minutes from the renowned Night Bazaar. It is only 15 minutes away from the airport, train station and bus terminal.

Only one complaint , when they put their breakfast items out that are cooked they don t keep the heaters under them so the food is cold . They do cook eggs to order which is nice , but it s also nice to have a variety if staying more than one night	9.6/10

Swimming pool great salt water which was a nice change from chlorine. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms very well serviced. 5th November 2010 TEOH KOK LIM	Me and my wife had a wonderful holiday staying at BODHI SERENE, the deluxe room is spacious and clean, especially the extra size bath tub for 2 person in the shower room, for honey moon couple I would strongly recommend this resort style hotel. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is good and location is not too far from the famous night bazaar, Pink River and some famous temple, walking distance to restaurant and pub, couple of foot and thai massage across the street of the hotel.	8.6/10

3rd May 2010 DMITRY VELICHKO	Все хлопоты по бронированию отелей, перелетов и трансферов, а так же проблемы по совмещению всего этого взял на себя Антон из Asiahotels.ru. Вот уже второй раз мы ему доверяемся и оба раза без накладок. Спасибо! Итак Чиангмай. Место колоритное. Храм стоит на храме. Отель Bodhi Sirene понравился. Очень достойно. Можно было все 4 дня посвятить хождению по историческому центру. Но мы решили заказать 3 экскурсии. В Чаг Рай, в национальный парк и Пять Племен. За исключением последней экскурсии, которая вообщем понравилась остальные оставили неприятный осадок. То ли показать в Таиланде нечего, то ли желания показывать не было. В общем мы запомнили только дорогу. Вывод. Не берите экскурсии. Берите таксиста за 700 бат на весь день и тыкайте на карте, куда вы хотите. Договориться с таксистами и с тук-туками можно без проблем! И надо заметить за очень хорошую цену, больше нигде мы так дешево не путешествовали на такси.	10/10
16th January 2010 Ellingson	My family and I had a wonderful stay (4 nights in January 2010) at the Bodhi Serene boutique hotel. From our reservation on-line right through to the airport pick-up and drop off everything worked perfectly. The hotel is well located in a safe area with friendly hotel staff who were always willing to assist. Breakfasts were fantastic, especially the freshly made waffles. There are a range of restuarants within an easy walk and the hotel arranges free transport to the nightmarket which is less than 5 mins away. The rooms are a nice size with little balconies opening onto the courtyard garden. The pool area is small but a nice place to relax and free internet access is available in their libary area. The only criticism relates to their tour desk which sold tours for higher prices than you could get elsewhere (which is something that happens in a lot of hotels across the world). Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to stay there again in the future.	9/10
