De Naga Chiang Mai, a new luxury boutique hotel designed in Northern Thai style. Conveniently located next to Tha Pae Gate in the old city where shopping and cultural attractions are within walking distance, De Naga will offer its guests the best location, style and service, all at affordable prices. De Naga low-rise architectural style is distinctly Northern Thai or Lanna style, with a resort feel, and features a view of the imposing Doi Suthep Mountain Temple.

As you enter De Naga through the lobby, past the open areas, the mood gently evolves from traditional Lanna feel to a pleasant, but more contemporary style with touches of typical Chiang Mai. In Northern Thailand legend, during the Lanna reign, it was believed that Naga appeared on earth to assist the kings in building their glorious cities and bestowed upon them immense wealth and power.

ACCOMMODATIONS

De Naga rooms feature warm teakwood interiors and are decorated in Thai silk, upholding the eye-catching Lanna style and enhancing the look and feel of the traditional design. In each room, a Naga art feature adorns the wall at the head of the bed, while an elaborate headpiece depicting a large golden Naga is displayed in the Naga Suite. Having prime location in the centre of Chiang Mai, De Naga boasts views of the city, as well as Doi Suthep.

Are generously spacious with 33 square meters of comfort and wonderfully decorated with traditional teak wood furnishings. Available with either 2 single beds or 1 double bed, Deluxe rooms are suitable for 2 persons.

Premier Deluxe rooms (size: 33 sq.m.)

Are mostly similar to the Deluxe rooms, but in some room offer more comfort and appeal with the high ceilings and exposed wooden beams, as well as a restful seating area by the window. With 17 Premier Deluxe rooms located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor, affording each room with superb views of the various sights of the city. Available with 2 single beds or 1 double bed, Premier Deluxe rooms are suitable for 2 persons.

Grand Deluxe Rooms (size : 48 sq.m.)

Offer larger a living space with rooms ranging 48 square meters, providing guests with even more comfort and features. Some rooms feature higher ceilings with exposed wooden beams in a beautiful teakwood finish. Additional creature comforts are a larger bathroom that features a separate bath and shower. Available with 2 single beds or 1 double bed, Grand Deluxe rooms and are suitable for 2 persons.

Jacuzzi Suite

The luxurious Naga Suite is beautifully designed showcasing a stunning decorative Naga art piece at the head of the bed. This exclusive room offers an ample 72 square meters of space giving guests all they need to stay in complete comfort.

RESTAURANT

Naga Restaurant Situated nearby the courtyard and set in an open-air style, the decor and design of Naga Restaurant presents contemporary Thai style. Rich earthy tones create a warm, tranquil ambience. Featuring a delectable array of dishes inspired by various regions around the world, Naga Restaurant, boasts their own Mediterranean Cuisine served for lunch and dinner. Breakfast 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. A La Carte 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Cafe Naga Named "Huen Ta Waa", meaning "the house of the past", this traditionally designed house is a reflection of the settlements prosperity of their cultural legacy. Cafe De Naga has been created drawing inspiration from the arts and cultures of the region. The restored northern Thai architecture evokes memories of earlier days arousing subtle touches of nostalgia. Throughout the day the restaurant serves fresh baked items, snacks, freshly brewed coffee, homemade juices and ice creams. In addition, it serves an enticing selection of international favorites, Thai dishes along with some local specialties. Cafe De Naga also has a private Gallery and Collection of Lanna arts and antique such as silver, wood carve, bronze, and paintings. The restaurant offers air-conditioned indoor, as well as outdoor garden, dining options. A La Carte 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Bakery Corner Within Cafe De Naga there are delectable baked items available, such as cakes, pastries and many other goodies to savour.
Lobby Bar Located adjacent to the reception area, extending through to the poolside terrace, the Lobby Bar is an ideal venue to relax and unwind. Perfect for a casual drink during the day or intimate cocktails in the evening, the Lobby Bar provides a wide selection of cocktails, wines and many other favorites.

Lovers Court Positioned nearby the poolside terrace, the Lovers Court serves an extensive selection of fine imported wines which is available in the evening. During the afternoon, high tea is on offer with a variety of teas to choose from, as well as delicious bakery items.

3rd May 2009 HILLNER	Das De Nage in Chiang Mai ist wirklich sehr schön und liegt auch sehr zentral. Nachtmarkt und alles andere gut zu erreichen. Das Personal ist unheimlich freundlich und auch sehr hilfsbereit. Einzig der Pool ist etwas klein geraten. Hat uns aber trotzdem sehr gut gefallen und können wir guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
4th February 2009 Wasitta Chullobon	The hotel overall is very nice. The breakfast was good. Good location. At night the lighting in/outside the hotel makes it becomes very charming. The swimming pool is a bit too small and the grand delux room was smaller than we thought. The staffs are very friendly.
8th January 2009 Louisa Shepherd	De Naga hotel is one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in. It is in a prime position, but is not noisy at all. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped us book all of our tours and gave great recommendations. Their attention to details was excellent. I would definately recommend staying here and hope to stay again myself.

21st November 2008 Mr Grant Benjamin Ogden	This is a great place to stay in Chang Mai. It is central to everything and the only time we used transport was for the tours we booked. The Sunday markets are just around the corner and the Night Bazaars are a couple of blocks away. We walked everywhere but if you were loaded down with packages the tuk tuks are cheap enough. The staff at this hotel were the friendliest we came across - always smiling and greeting you and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable and our room was nice and quiet. If you wanted to spend a day relaxing in your room, you get a free mini bar quota (2 soft drinks/2 beers/2 waters everyday) and there is a DVD player with free DVD s to borrow from the lobby. There is also two computers at the lobby for free internet access with an unlimited time quota. The free breakfast is a delicious smorgasboard with plenty of choices. The hotel pool is quite small and only has 6 deck chairs and two love seats. We didn t have a problem when we were there but at busy periods you may not get a chair. The pool bar is unattended and it can be difficult to wave someone down to get an initial drink, but once they know you are there, they will look after you well. The two hotel restaurants served delicious meals and at reasonable prices. We are definately going back to this hotel - thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Service & attitude = outstanding Quality of rooms = very high standard with great attention to details Location = for us it was perfect, close to restaurants etc but still secluded Price = we booked via www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com and got a discount which made De Naga great value for the money. Would definately recommend and would definately visit again.
