21st April 2012 Cornu Pascal | it s a big tower, beautiful view on Chiang Mai, 5 minutes drive from city center. The hotel offer a free transfert by shuttle bus from hotel to night bazar in the evening | 8.8/10 |
10th December 2011 Jacqueline Tay | | 9/10 |
10th September 2011 Mr.Masaru Shioya & Ms.Waraporn Srisombat | Carpet not cleaning 2days. | 4.8/10 |
4th September 2011 John Dunbar | I stayed here 4 years ago and it was a very different Holiday Inn then. It has really gone down hill since. The rooms are tired, and need an upgrade, especially in the bathrooms.
Breakfast 4 years ago was very special, but not anymore. It was very pedestrian, like a low 3 star with minimal selection, fake juice and poor bread selection. Last time they had natural, unsweetened yogurt, large whole wheat croissants, real orange juice and a huge fruit selection. I guess budgets have caught up to them.
On a positive note the staff were all very kind and helpful.
We had to change rooms 3 times, first time the toilet of the adjoining room was directly next to the living room so every time they took a shower or flushed the toilet it was like Niagara Falls. Then the traffic noise in the next room was very loud even with ear plugs - so if you stay here take the condo side and you will be fine for noise.
very average. | 6/10 |
30th August 2011 Pra Mot Le Ah | Overall great experience. We stay for 3 night in the suite with Mae ping view. The room very spacious and clean for our family of 4.The staff very friendly and helpful
The location a bit out if you just wanna walk to night bazar but it just a short fun ride of tuktuk to be there | 8.8/10 |
10th July 2011 Khun Patcharee S. | I and my family would like to thank you for a very enjoyable stay with you again.(3rd visited)
We would have no hesitations in recommending your hotel to our friends and will be back again in the near future | 7.8/10 |
17th June 2011 Pang Chee Huat | hotel room was great. My family had a great time staying in the hotel. Hotel pool was too small and unimpressive. Hotel could provide better options for tour instead of just relying on the conciege to give advise. Overall good experience in hotel stay. | 6.6/10 |
15th April 2011 Virpi Kemi | Very good value for the price we paid. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Location is far away from the old city and nightmarket, but this was no problem, because we rented a motorbike. This was our second visit in Holiday Inn Chiang Mai and it was as wonderful as the first one 1.5 year ago. | 6.8/10 |
17th December 2010 Khun Anchalee Jengjalern | Every thing is excellent. I really enjoy the hospitality and service of the Holiday Inn. I recommend it highly for those who want to visit Chiang Mai. | 2/10 |
8th October 2010 Mrs M.Corr | If you want to stay in Chiang Mai city, but not right in the middle of the night bazaar, Holiday Inn is situated in the right spot. I even found the distance to the bazaar area walkable. Then again, I like walking and I don t mind warm temperatures. A tuk tuk ride there will cost 80.00 Baht, as long as you agree on the price beforehand. The hotel staff are very well trained and they try very hard to please the guests. Breakfast offers many choices and the food quality is high. My room was big, comfortable and clean. Same goes for the bathroom. Though, some of the basin and shower fittings were aged and needed changing | 8/10 |
25th June 2010 Giner Francois | just great hotel, location, service
15th April 2010 Lokesh Mathur | I was there with my Family and overall I can say We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn. | 9.4/10 |

13th March 2010 Haim Konfino | good service good brakfast
internet chrgh expencive | 6.8/10 |
10th September 2009 Siew Hon Hoe | Hotel Room is very spacious. Swimming pool is small and the view of the river is a waste of times. The river is so dirty and muddy. Nice Hotel and nice Chinese Food. | 7.2/10 |
14th August 2009 A Miranda | We booked a river view room and were offered an upgrade to the executive floor renovated rooms for a small fee. The room was superb but we had airconditioning probles. Later we were told that the airconditioning was weak on the last three floors (with renovated rooms!) We were upgraded to a suite on the 17th floor which was superb. The staff were friendly and obliging and the hotel although a bit old (carpet along corridors is showing signs of wear) is in pretty good condition, especially the lobby. Amazing buffet breakfast set along the river and a good modern gym to work it all off later. As for location it s 60 BHT to the night market by tuk tuk- overall a great experience with the upgrade. We would certainly consider stay there again | 9/10 |
12th April 2009 Gareth Leow Jia Hui | nice large room with good views of the river, polite and helpful staff, good breakfast. Compratively to Duangtawan with similar rates, I will go for holiday inn. However, the hotel is rather old and the room could do with an update but for the price, you can t ask for too much.
17th January 2009 Kevin | Surprisingly cheap and affordable. Although the hotel it self is an old building, the rooms were huge. Bathroom could have been better, but everything else was good.
Breakfast had a lot of good variety.
Great hotel I will stay here again for sure on my next visit to Chiang Mai.
Definately recommended!!!
