17th February 2012 Mrs Doreen Cunningham | This place is for those who require complete relaxation. No shops no restaurants around just isolation. If thats what you require this is for you. Free shuttle to Hua Hin 15min away plenty of shopping and reataurants. Staff are Great. Breakfast ok pool area good. But book a villa with your own pool much better. | 5.4/10 |
28th November 2011 Panthip Busarakham | The resort is situated 13 km from the centre but the hotel has a taxi service on schedual- so no problem to get in to town at all.
We were there while the resort is renovating lots of things so not so many facilities were available.
Will recommend for those whoom looking for loxury. | 8/10 |
16th October 2010 EISSA ALALI | It was one of my best places that I ever visited or stayed in , the service , the place , and the hospitality everything was amazing , thanks to the staff and everyone for the great time. | 10/10 |
18th April 2010 Khun Wiwat Engprayoon |
15th February 2010 Michael Myall | I can well recommend this resort. Although it is away from the sea, the pool villa I stayed in was extremely clean and well-equipped. The staff were very kind and helpful, and spoke English very well. FREE minibus transfers to Hua Hin, and the cheap taxi service to Bangkok, were a definite bonus. I will certainly pay a return visit. | 8/10 |
15th October 2009 Mrs Stephen Ski & Mrs Lesley Ski | We enjoyed out stay staff were friendly and helpfull facility s were good but a little run down breakfast was great bathroom could be cleaner. Lesley & Stephen Ski. | 5.2/10 |
7th October 2009 Roger Major | I was quite disappointed with the hotel; what should have been a great three day break was marred by lack of attention at the swimming pool bar and the restaurants.
Our last evening we tried to go to the International/Italian Restaurant at the hotel only to be told it had been booked out for a private party of about 30 people. So we ended up back at the only other restaurant on site for the 3rd night in a row and the menu options really did not stretch to three nights in a row. | 5.2/10 |
19th May 2009 Panupong Pummavat | Many services and facilities are very good that we were very impressed. However, we had 2 comments: 1.Not much kind of food and choices for customer s meal (not include breakfast coz it s very cool.) and unreasonable cost if we consider from taste & quatity of consisted raw material.
2.Many insects and galley-worms in room & outside / they disturbed us.
12th January 2009 Carl Williams | The hotel was a wonderful place to stay, we had a one bed villa with a private pool, we stayed there for 5 nights, we had a private 5 metre pool. We got back one night and there was a notice that they were going to fumigate the resort the next day, being a bit concerned about this we comnplained to the manager, he assured us this was just routine, as it turned out all was fine. But as a result of complaining we were upgraded free of charge to villa paradise 29, for 5 nights, this was wonderful, with a an attached full living area and full kitchen, outside we had a private 15 metre pool, the garden was massive and we had a huge day bed in the garden, total private, the staff always ring the bell before entering the villa grounds.
The staff were fantastic nothing to much trouble, always comning to the room when were out for the night and lighting candles around the pool.
The food, in the resort is a little pricey, FOR GREAT FOOD VISIT THE THAI RESTAURANT ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THE MAIN ENTRANCE, THE FOOD HERE IS A1, MUCH BETTER THAN THE HOTEL, WE ATE HERE EVERY DAY, MENU IN ENGLISH, LOVELY FAMILY BUSINESS AND OWNERS VERY FRIENDLY.
We had bikes to get around, great, the bus service into Hua Hin is A1 always on time and only 20 minutes to the centre, well worth the ride, go to the night market and find the place called BIRD CHILLY, there is a flashing STEAK sign, its located in the second block and the food is first class, try the sea king prawns.
Overall the resort was a great place to stay can highly recommed it, but eat across the main road in the Thai restaurant, breakfast in the resort was great, but no noodle soup unless there a loads of Thais booked in.
The spa is well worth a visit lovely treatment, would defiatley come again.
For a taxi back to Bangkok call Sanit on 0834427384, just 2 hours 15 minutes back to bangkok, depending on traffic, fare 2800 Baht.
15th September 2008 Peter Huypens | In my eyes, a little dissapointing. The room looked nice but smelled moldy. In the resort, construction works were going on during out stay. The food in the restaurant was bad and the fitness room was a big joke as everything was defective. Not my piece of cake
10th August 2008 Pongsak Banluetanyalak | Very good resort and my family enjoin this trip. I already informed my friend and my team will have next away day meeting here.
18th July 2008 Mr.Weerachai Supattaramatakul | The hotel is very peaceful, nice decoration. Two nights that I spent, it was very relax like we are at home. Their staff were nice and active. But the hotel is not near to the sea and also from downtown too. Anyway, if you have a chance to visit Hua-Hin and would like to have a peaceful moment. This hotel would be one of your choice.

8th July 2008 John Nooyen | A very nice and quiet resort but very far away from the beach and Hua Hin township (12 KM).
Staff was VERY friendly but they spoke very poor English.
8th July 2008 Kirei | Checking in was a breeze although I find the lobby a bit small. I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with a private pool during the length of my stay.
Condition of Villa
The rooms were reasonably clean except that maintenance should be done regularly to the private pool. When I entered the villa with the attached bathtub, it was a nice sight to see the bathtub filled up with water and sprinkled with flowers. However, when the houskeeping staff cleaned up the room the following days, they forgot to remove the petals from the bathtub. I did not use the bathtub at all. It was too dirty. The mattress is too soft and I woke up with a backache.
Resort s staff
Generally, on the whole, the resort s staff were very friendly and observant. Although we may face communication problem with some of the staff, they rendered their help readily. It was a kind gesture.
Restaurant
The layout of the restaurant is too small. We had breakfast at the restaurant and I have to applaud the restaurant for their variety although the porridge that I had was a bit salty.
Transportation
It was a good move to provide bicycles to each resort for ease of travelling. It gives me a chance to brush up my cycling skills but the pavement was not conducive enough to cycle. It was a bumpy ride to anywhere so I end up walking to the lobby. The resort staff, on seeing us walking from our resort will race to us immediately on their buggy to pick us up. Impressive.
Massage
We tried the massage at the Water Spa Village. It was a nice experience. I almost fell asleep. I would love to try the other massages available if not for the steep prices.
The ongoing construction at the other resorts was a minus point. It was not serene at all with some construction works going on till the wee hours. For prospective travellers who intends to spend your holidays at at Dhevan Dara, it would be good to wait for a year or so for all the construction to be over.
28th June 2008 Grace Castano | Excellent room & service. The room is out of our expectation and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little bit far from the downtown but the hotel is providing shuttle service, so it is no problem to travel or visit the night market in Huahin only need to remember to make your booking in advance
5th June 2008 Nichakran Sasirojana | When we got there, the reception told us that they will upgrade us to the pool villa cos the room we book has something wrong. The resort is really nice, peace and quiet. It s quite new and some area still under construct. the breaffast is ok. Overall it s worth visit with the reasonab;e price
31st May 2008 Khun Deerawan Timkaew | Very Good
17th May 2008 Kantanit Sukontasap | The resort is a good size one - nice and quiet. However, the design of the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired - there is no soap dish, so the soap had to be parked on the wash basin counter - a long reach from the shower. There is also no toilet roll holder - the paper roll has to be put on the toilet es water tank. And as there is no shower curtian, the water from the shower splashes all over the bathroom.
As a footnote, the location is also a bit too far from the beaches.
Aside from that, the service is courteous and friendly. I would recommend this place for older couples who would love the solitude.
10th April 2008 Michael McMackin | We stayed for 4 nights. The staff is excellent and friendly. The the jasmine villa was gorgeous as expected, no complaints about that. The only negative things about Dhevan Dara is that the food menu is smaller than expected for a 4 star hotel and the room was not cleaned till 4pm two of the days we were there because it was quite busy. During a non-holiday weekend would be the ideal time to go. I would definitely return.
6th April 2008 Elilsabetha Bollhalder | we had a huge and beautiful 2 bedroom villa which came with living room and a small kitchen and 2 uniquely designed bathroom. each room was very tastefully decorated. perfectly for couples, honeymooners. 15 min. from hua hin centre.
