Fabio's Garden Lodge is situated on the idyllic beach of Ban Tai wish is conveniently located between Tong Sala and Haad Rin, near the fishing village of Ban Tai on the serene south-east coast of Koh Phangan. Our Bungalows and Villas are building in unique styles and will give you a sensation of wellbeing in a totally private atmosphere.

The long beach at Ao Ban Tai has long been a favorite of many returning visitors to Koh Phangan and is part of the long unbroken stretch of white sand beach that runs from Ban Kai right the way up to Tong Sala.

Most of the land along the coastline has been farmed as coconut plantation and the area takes on a dreamy desert island feel with palms leaning in to the calm emerald sea. Ao Ban Tai has a broad beach that is protected from the high seas by the rich coral reef and harmless marine life and is a great place to go snorkeling.

ACCOMMODATION

Our resort is generously spaced on the long beach of Ban Tai, making it easy to rest and relax under palm trees or on the swimming pool inside of our quit and beautiful tropical garden. Don't miss the spectacular sunsets on the beach - especially between March and June. Nearly you will find a few beach bars if you fancy a drink under the stars. The fishing village of Ban Tai has some great places to try the local fresh seafood or the famous Thai food.

All our well-maintained and spacious 5 Bungalows and 2 Villas come with air-con and European-style Bathroom with cold and hot water as standard. The décor inside the rooms is pleasing with soft cotton sheets and a range of furniture. Each room has a private terrace with deckchairs. Every room has full services which Mini Bar, Cable TV and DVD Player, Lounge Area and coffee or tea making facilities. Every Accommodations have a big outside area while smoking is allowed.

We share a restaurant with our neighbor, so you can crab a satisfying breakfast or dinner right on the beach.

The most popular Full Moon Party is just 15 minutes taxi ride away. And also nearly there are a couple of party venues including the Black Moon and Half Moon Party if you fancy dancing the night away on the white sand beach.

Other facilities include laundry and travel booking island tours and many other activities can be organized at the resort. We have motorbikes for rent and provide the resort area with a wireless internet access 24 hours.

We have six bungalows only and all reservations matter to us. We expect you to honor this booking as it was made, as we will, and will ask for the full amount to be paid on arrival. This is no - refundable. Refusal to do so may result in us refusing you a bungalow at our resort. Any changes are to be made well before arrival, not while checking in.

We will hold a booked bungalow for you for one night only. If you fail to show up or do not let us know of your late arrival, we will consider the bungalow cancelled.

22nd December 2011 robert Akerberg	It was always comleatly dark in Fabios garden, and dangerus steps before you lernd where there are. So some light please. And the pool was cleaned everyday but our room not a singel time during 10 days. Well rooms not bad and it was not so far from the beach. The service staff was nice but I guess fabio tryed to spear money on simpeltthings like some sope and toiletpaper	6.4/10
7th September 2011 Evgenia Berseneva	For The second time I have chosen Garden Lodge and did not regret it. Nice, quiet, cosy place, not far from Tongsala and Haad Rin. Needs some rennovation but the new owner Fabio planned it already. Many thanks to Fabio and his helpers for making our vacation unforgettable.	9/10

6th March 2011 bryan smith	We stayed at the garden lodge the first week in March 2011; we can only say that the accommodation was great. The manager (frank) was great and very helpful; as were all the staff, the beach was a 5 min walk away and you would be hard pushed to see many other people on it. There are not many bars/restaurants around but enough for us, its not as busy as the other big islands but ideal if you like it peaceful, we will defiantly return next year. Bryan and Lesley.	9/10

Rooms vary - we started with a family room which was very poor (no hot water for example) and were moved to an upgraded room which was fine. The location is poor and the facilities are also poor, althoug the the garden and the pool are nice	3.6/10

16th September 2010 DRUCKER KOREN	The location of the resort is in ban-tai village- far away from the main activities that the island offers and therefore require rent of motorbike or services of sungatew (open van taxi) for 100 baht as fix price for each drive. there was a hot water only for a few hours a day. The beach is neglected. the hotel not offering even a bar for coctails or shakes. to conclude- a big disapointment.	4.6/10

5th January 2010 Lisa Bishop	All in all we had a good stay at the garden Lodge. The rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. They were nicely decorated and came with flat screen TV s etc. The 24 hour reception is not the case however. Sometimes it was hard to get anything from the owner who wasnt the most friendly person. The resort isn t too far away in a cab for the full moon party however local shops shut early leaving you feeling a bit stranded. Generally a nice resort and i would return. Relaxing and value for money.	6/10

The beach was 30 meters away our bungalow and there is also the Phangan Beach Restaurant where we had breakfast and good dinners for a very resonable price. It s easy to rent a Motorbike direct at the place and discover the whole of Koh Phanagn. We enjoy the good service especially the complimentary coffee, tea and drinking water and also the free internet access. We absulutely recommend this resort and will come back next holiday.	9.2/10
25th November 2009 William John Gulyas	We stayed at Garden Lodge 3 nights in November 2009. The hotel is situated 50 meters from a beautiful quiet sandy beach where there is also a restaurant. The pool is gorgeous and surrounded by a floral garden setting. Garden Lodge is a safe quiet and clean place to stay. The rooms are well appointed,modern and clean and the staff is friendly and concerned with your comfort. I ll certainly return to this hotel on my next visit to Koh Phangan.	10/10
29th August 2009 Stephen Michael Ryan	My friends and I stayed in the Garden Villa, a 2 bedroom villa, with kitchen, adjoining dining room and bathroom. It suited our need because of the 2 bedrooms and was the main reason we stayed at the Garden lodge. All the great prior reviews sealed it for us. It was great having the comforts of 24 hour wi fi, a/c, decent bath/shower, tv/dvd and comfortable beds. The owner and his staff of one were helpful and friendly. Its just a short stroll to near-by bars/restaurants as well as the beach (just a minute away). The beach has hammocks, a shower, bar/restaurant and despite what I had heard it is possible to swim here even if it can be a bit shallow (down to knee high for us at times) when the tide is out. The Garden Lodge would be perfect for people seeking peace & quiet but we were left disappointed by this very aspect of it. Haad Rinn is definitely a more happening place and the beach is more lovely and places like Haad Yuan have that quiet vibe that the Garden Lodge enjoys while being more beautiful to boot. One complaint is that some guy was working on cutting foilage around the hotel from morning to afternoon everyday, which was quite a nuisance but then again I guess these things have to be done sometime and I didn t complain so naturally I can t expect there to have been anything done about it. All in all, our stay at the Garden Lodge was a pleasant one. Koh Phangan is beautiful. I will definitely be back but ill stay elsewhere next time.

The rooms are very comfartable, clean and spacious with a lovely outside balcony overlooking beautiful well kept gardens and pool. Frank the owner was very helpful and a nice guy.
