The beautiful and peaceful Thong Nai Pan beach on Koh Phangan.

Located on the beautiful and peaceful Thong Nai Pan beach on Koh Phagnan Island, just a hop away from Koh Samui Island in the amazing Golf of Thailand. Boasting 30 bungalows built from natural stone and wood the tranquil resort blends in with the surrounding nature. The only locally owned resort on the beach, established for 16 years.

ACCOMMODATION

:: Superior Garden Bungalow ::

Natural wooden built bungalows equip with air condition, hot water, mosquito screened windows and private bathroom. Twin and double - sized beds are available.

:: Thongtapan Suite ::

Also located on a few steps away from the beach, yet the bungalow is built slight high up. So there are numbers of steps involved. In room equipped with a deluxe king-sized bed, private bathroom, hot water, air-condition, mosquito screened windows.

:: Garden Suite ::

This is a second most popular room built with natural wood. Beds in the room can be made into one king - sized bed (on request only) or two king - single - sized beds. The room equips private bathroom, air - condition, hot water, mosquito screened windows.

:: Superior Beach Front Bungalow ::

The most popular room type and well appointed concrete rooms with Tongnaipan Noi Beach. A stone throws away from the beach. In room equipped with a king - sized bed, dressing table, private bathroom, air - condition, hot water, mosquito screened windows.

:: Standard Concrete House ::

This is the resort largest room it features a stone wall which the bungalow built beside. A few steps away from the beach, room can be made to a one king-sized bed + one king single - sized bed (on request only) or three king - single sized beds also equipped with dressing table, private bathroom, an opened plan seating area, mosquito screened windows.

:: 2 Bedrooms Villa ::

A villa with 2 separate bedrooms, one has a deluxe king-sized bed and another has 2 single - sized beds. The best suites for family with 5 - 14 years old. Both rooms equipped with dressing table, private bathroom, air - condition, hot water and mosquito screened windows. Its living area is built outside by it balcony.

RESTAURANT

Krua Tapan Restaurant, Our Krua Tapan Restaurant serves a wide range of breakfasts including continental breakfast. We highly recommend our fresh seasonal fruit with muesli and yogurt. For brunch / lunch & dinner we serve authentic Thai food. Fresh seafood menu changes according to daily catch. Also a selection of pasta and soups are available.

Baan Tapan Noi Restaurant, is open daily from 7am until late. Dinner is served from 06.00 pm till late.

19th August 2011 Catherine Moulins	Very nice room no 6, good view away from all the other bungalows. Good quality bed, no soap or shampoo provided and very poor lighting in the bathroom. Great beach, very quiet, transparent warm water, good restaurants on the beach. Friendly staff.	8.6/10
18th August 2011 Sire	We had a wonderful stay at Thongtapan resort. The clean and simple bungalows are between the beach and the - almost- wild garden, in the nature just like we love. The two restaurants are delicious : Krua tapan is perfect for good thai family food and Baantapannoi just looks like a movie picture : Pirate of the Carribean ! People working at Thongtapan are very nice, smiling and very helpful for everything, and always kind with children. This place is perfect with small kids : soft sandy beach and turquoise sea, only 5 hotels to share the whole beach, a lovely village at 5 mn walk. It is paradise !	9.6/10

24th July 2011 Cornelia Lorenzen-Faust	Unser Aufenthalt im Thongtaphan Resort wird uns unvergesslich sein und wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, der Strand vor der Tür super. Abend konnte man unter sehr schöner Beleuchtung in dem einen Lokal gut am strand Essen. Zum Frühstück gab es ein weiteres Lokal, dass die besten smoothies macht, die wir in Thailand getrunken haben. Abend hat dann Cocco in der Bar noch leckere Cocktails gemicht, die man auf einer großen schukel einnehmen konnte. Zur Buchung der Ausflüge, des Taxitransfers oder der Weiterfahrt nach Bangkok waren die sehr hilfsbereiten und freundlichen zwei Frauen am Empfang stets bereit. Liegen gab es umsonst.	10/10

24th February 2011 anthony wood	Spartan is the way that I describe my room, a wooden box for clothing. a bucket for washing. no means of keeping drinks cool or having ice. WiFi not able to be received at my hut No25. I think that the staff resented me being there and suggested that I spend 10000B at a five star hotel may be I will next time . Arrangement for departure taxi were ok and the food served at the restaurant was good enough for me. Reasonably priced when considered that one night was free. I would consider a return with a promise of improved services	5.2/10

29th September 2010 Stolzenberger	Wir waren 6 Tage hier und sehr zufrieden .Die Zimmer sind groß und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt .Hatten Probleme mit dem Wasserdruck wurde aber umgehend erledigt . Sehr schöner Strandabschnitt am Tong Nai Pan Noi. Hatten den Bungalow Nr 8 und würden ihn immer wieder nehmen . Thongtapan Resort können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen .	8.2/10

22nd April 2010 Elke Stroehl	Wir waren 17 Tage im Thongtapan Resort in einem Bungalow (Suite).Die Anlage ist schoen in die Natur integriert.Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet.Kein Kuehlschrank,kein TV aber Klimaanlage und Dusche.Die Reinigung war nich so toll, man musste alles bei der Reception anmelden,aber dann wurde umgehend geputzt.Die Damen an der Reception waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Am Strand gibt es keine Liegen.Das im Resort gelegene Restaurant macht nicht nur ein schmackhaftes Essen,man kann sich dort auch kostenlos Liegestuehle ausleihen.	6.6/10

4th January 2010 Lars Bo Kimergård	The bungalow was fine. A little far from the sea. the way to the bungalow was a bit hard to climb with at three year old child. But the room was fine and the personel were helpsome and very sweet. But if you need a place that is super clean, don t pick Thongtapan Resort. We didn t have our bathroom cleaned for 8 days! Tongtapan is placed very nicely on the end of the beach, and has one of the beachs best restaurants. The big palm trees made a perfect shade on the beach in the afternoon. Tongtapan is all in all a very good choise of accommodation in Koh Pang Nan	8.2/10
10th July 2009 Fedor Fomin	The hotel is very good, staff is helpfull and the beach is one of the best I ve ever seen. The only thing which made me to change the location prematurely was absence of fresh seasonal fruits in the hotel area. Even coconuts were low quality and overpriced. But if fruits and nightlife are not your aims for the holiday this hotel is one of the best places. Special thanks to staff of the restaurant located in front of the hotel reception. I didn t like the restaurant on the left side of the beach because of not very good smell there.
