Koh Samui is situated in the Gulf of Thailand, 84 kms. East of Suratthani. It has a total area of 247 sq.kms. : 21 kms. Wide and 25 kms. Long. The main ring road lying around the Island is about 50 kms.

One third of the total area is open plain which is surrounded by the mountains. Koh Samui is famous not only for its wonderful destination but also well known as 'The Paradise Island'.

Chaweng Beach is on at the East Coast of Koh Samui where the most of hotels and Resorts have settled as well as Chaweng Resort which located on the most beautiful place. Resort's beachfront stretched for meters covered by white and powdery sand, Frontal crystal sea water and panorama view are truly beautiful like a dream land, The leisurely stroll with a sea breeze is the wonderful experience.

How to get there?
Bangkok Airways domestic flight flies directly to Samui from Bangkok or Phuket, and just 15 minutes drive from the airport to the hotel. Thai International air ways fly to the mainland (Suratthani) and then get on a speedboat or a ferry to the island by spending 1 and half hours enjoying the beauty of the ocean along the way, then call a cap for short drive to the hotel.

17th April 2012 Laila Eriksson	Mycket bra hotell för alla. Barnvänligt för familjer. Hotellet ligger vid den bästa delen av Chawengstranden. Ligger lite för långt från centrum men perfekt för den som inte vill parta varje kväll. Bra service,städning varje dag. Bra frukost. Bra priser på boende och i restaurangen. Jag skulle önska att personalen i restaurangen kunde bättre Engelska för att undvika missförstånd.	8/10

7th February 2012 RONEN ROITMAN	The pictures of this hotel are misleading and are not very realistic. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get proper value for his money. We took the standard room and got broken air conditioner and a bathroom covered with mold, exposed rusty water pipes and shabby floor. We heard from other people that the deluxe bungalows are better but we were not interested to upgrade since we were so disappointed from our room. The only upside was that the staff was nice and helped us to communicate with www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com in order to change the hotel and even transferred our suitcases to the new hotel.	5.4/10
2nd February 2012 Hanna Fernvik Forslund	It was a pleasant stay at this resort even thou it was some things that could have make it even more pleasant. Ok breakfast with different kind of eggs, sereals, bread and fruit. But the breakfast area could have been more cozy with a little bit update in furniture and som paint.. 2 nice pools with pleanty of sunbeds (could need som upfreshing ). Nice and kind staff. The bungalows are old but still nice and if you want, cleaning every day. Vey nice that it is cloce to the beach even tough they colud clean the beach more often tough it was windy and the beach got dirty quick. It was a 15 minutes stroll in to the crazy heart of chaweng, really nice with the calm and quite down south. And if you want action it´s not far away Overall a nice resort with nice staff.	7/10
22nd November 2011 Reiner Schrodi	i had been several times during the last years in this old but clean resort. My main reason to do this was the quiet location next to Centara. In case no drunken guests making party until 5 o clock in the morning. A complaint by the security had been shown no effect. The staff is sometimes kind sometimes less when interrupting unexpectedly by sitting in front of the mirror by maintainance of the eye lid make up. The breakfast is sufficient if you expect no gala dinner. Partly the noodles and the vegetables were cold and taste similar like my tissue at the table but you cannot expect delicious meals for this price. I paid 1200 Baht per night, a little to much for a low season holiday in a 2-star resort. Also the tsunami barrier of ugly concrete tubes at the beach was not a feast for my eyes. I think there are some better accomodations for that price at the chaweng beach, but for me the location was crucial. Reiner	6.2/10
15th September 2011 Fiona Gibbons	Booked a standard bungalow and on checkin was upgraded to a deluxe room which I was naturally very happy about. Unfortunately, although the room was bigger and had a DVD player it was right next to the kitchen and very noisy between 6am and 930pm. Also Had no balcony or outdoor area and no smoking room. Breakfast average, staff service and friendliness average but location excellent. Avoid room 201.	6.8/10
23rd August 2011 Naumkin	We liked this hotel. Quiet place a beautiful beach. For families with children. The hotel is old. Friendly staff. There are a lot of shops and restaurants. Do you like the Japanese restaurant Fuji / The next year, likely will return to this hotel......	8.6/10
15th August 2011 Bruce Forlonge	We had front street room. See through curtains, to an old room.Bed had dirty marks on front bed head. Easily fixed with a little paint.On arrival, no orientation to room and facilities.Bed cover torn.Shower head spurted out water, over toilet and wash basin. I tightend head .Fixed problem. However, i enjoyed my stay. Great location,right on great beach.Good breakfast.Top gym(above front office)which was rarely used.	6/10

Не получилось, потому что на ресепшн стоят фото номеров отеля. Раздражает то. что вместо извинений что так получилось, пытались нае... Будьте внимательны при поселении в Тайланде, он уже не тот что 10 лет назад	6.6/10

10th August 2010 Peter Winberg	We stayed here for 12 nights. The bungalow, a superior one, was large and what we expected. The fitness room was ok. The beach fine and the two pools alright. Perhaps they could have cleaned them more often. On the opposite side of the resort is a restaurant well worth visiting, cheap and nice food. The resort is placed a bit from Chaeweng center, but not too far. There are shops etc near by, but even more closer to the center. The beach is nice, sand sand sand.	7.4/10
