'The Best Private Beach Corner of Thailand'

First Bungalow Beach Resort is the first bungalow resort in Koh Samui. The resort has been located on the best site of this mini-peninsula since the early 1970's. First Bungalow Beach Resort is also the only resort hotel placed on the connecting point of Chaweng Beach and Chaweng Noi Beach, where is accepted that it is the finest site of Koh Samui.

As still run by the owner is family, it can be seen today with the unique blend of the same old simple, traditional and personalized hospitality of the owner, and all the modern amenities one can dream of in an exotic far-flung island hideout like Chaweng Beach. Nowadays, First Bungalow Beach Resort has been a must on travel-menu of every holidaymaker.

ACCOMMODATION

Room: 147 guest rooms : Fully equipped with air-conditioner, hot and cold water bathroom, Cable TV, Mini-bar, and IDD telephone. 42 Beach Bungalows, 14 Sea View Bungalows, 11 Deluxe Bungalows, 80 Deluxe Rooms.

All Deluxe Rooms are comfortable and fully equipped, set amid the tropical garden. They are a few steps to swimming pools and Jacuzzi. It takes just a few minutes to the beach. The 80 Deluxe rooms in the resorts main buildings have their own balconies and also all enjoy views of the tropical gardens and/or the pools.

There are many sizes of rooms available, which are varied from 4x4 meters (16 sq.m.), 4x7 meters (28 sq.m.), till 4x8 meters (32 sq.m.).

Each Room is furnished with:

2x2.7 meters (5.4 sq.m.) bathroom, provided hot & cold water, shower and bathtub

-: POOL SIDE OR SEASIDE BUNGALOW :-

This luxury Thai style bungalows are on the famous Chaweng Beach. Each is equipped with distinctive four-poster bed with mosquito net drapes. All bungalows are fully equipped and set amongst the private peaceful tropical garden. These 14 bungalows are on the shore of Chaweng Beach, set in the private zone where gives the feeling that you are in the small village.

Located directly on white sandy Chaweng Noi Beach. Our private beach is an ideal spot to watch sunrise over the ocean waves and sunset in the backdrop of the plush tree groves on the main land behind. It is also nice to swim and sunbathe. All bungalows are fully equipped and renovated to be more attractive, adorable and cozy. All of our 42 Beach Bungalows line on the seashore of Chaweng Noi.

Our Recommended Menu:

- Food: Tom Yum Goong - The famous Thai spicy soup with shrimp, herbs and mushroom Important Ingredients: Shrimp, Lemon Juice, Galingale, Lemongrass, Citrus Leaves, Small Chilli (Prik Khee Noo) and Fish Sauce or Salt.

- Food: Pad Thai - Thai style fried noodle with pork/beef/chicken/shrimp/seafood (The most popular one is Pad Thai Goong - Pad Thai with shrimp.). Important Ingredients of Pad Thai Goong: Shrimp, Small Noodle, Bean Sprout, Chinese, Celery or Spring Onion, Egg, Sugar, Fish Sauce or Salt, and a piece of Lemon for decoration.

- Dessert: Banana Fritter - Fried Banana covered with special mixed flour, served with honey or one scoop of ice cream

- Dessert: Banana in Sweet Coconut Milk -It is one of Thai delicious dessert that should be tried. Thai calls it "Kluay Buad Shee"

9th April 2012 Vigbjoern Halvorsen	We were planning to stay 2 days and then move to one of the other islands or another beach. But after the 2 days we decided to stay the full 8 days because it was a most beautifull place with a very nice private corner of the beach 1 minute from the room and a very nice pool area just outside the room. The surounding area is very quiet but only a few minutes to walk and you are in the buzzy resturant&bar + shopping street of Chaweng beach. Next door was a very nice tailor and a event agent who arranged nice day trips for us. Loved the stay and will definately come back! As the reception where the private beach is (it is not obvious). Should also mention that the included breakfast and the general service was excelent. In total, very good value for the money spent!	10/10
3rd September 2011 Egorova Maria	Nice place, clear sea, clear beach. The staff is not so attentive to guests. There was many cellers on the beach and we bored from them. Breakfast usual like in any hotel. Room is clear and the towels are white. About food - we can advise the Japan restaurant on the Chaweng beach road and we don t advise the Steak house on the same street. We had the great walks in evenings on the Chaweng beach, near sea. I wish everybody the great rest on the Samui. :)	9.2/10
19th August 2011 Volmer Klaus	Eine traumhafte Kulisse am Strand wie auch die Anlage selbst. Es gibt allerdings ein Problem, das während der 2 Wochen latent vorhanden war und auch nach mehreren persönlichen Gesprächen mit dem Managment sowie der Rezeption nicht gelöst wurde, das sind die streunenden Hunde, die täglich am Strand herumlaufen. Diese Hunde, man muß es so drastisch wiedergeben -pissen und scheißen- an den Strand.Ein absolutes no go. Zusätzlich laufen diese Köter jedem hinterher, der etwas essbares bei sich hat. Es gibt allerdings viele Reisende, die diese Hunde füttern. Die Problematik, gibt es bei fast allen Anlagen. Es ist für die Zukunft wünschenswert, hier eine gemeinsame Lösung im Sinne aller Urlauber zu erarbeiten, denn Urlaub ist doch die schönste Zeit im Jahr!	8.2/10

28th April 2011 Rittener-Ruff	Bonjour, Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cette hôtel. Ns ne le recommandons pas. Les réceptionniste n étaient vraiment pas sympatique surtout Mme le dragon. Elle ne parle pas elle gueule. Nous sommes arrivé à 21h00 le soir nos lits étaient sale et il avait oublié de mettre un lit enfant de plus. Déjeuner : il ne faut surtout pas arrivé plus tard que 930 car il ne faut plus rien à manger. Les tables sont sale et le personnel n est pas dutout souriant! Concernant les bungalow ils ont bien subi les inondations du mois de mars 2011 (il ne faut pas s attendre à du luxe). Quand il y a des coupures ils ne sont pas très rapide pendant 4-5 heures deux jours de suite. Heureusement qu ils sont sur la route de chaweng. Drôle de politique pour un hôtel ou tu paies quand même plus de 130.-- la chambre.	2.57142857143/10

3rd January 2010 Kate Healey	Very nice hotel. The first rooms were in a seperate building to the rest of the hotel but both the beach and pool were not far. The pool was great and the beach was nice and a bit quiter than Chawend itself. My only real complaint was the compulsary new years eve dinner. I was very annoyed at the whole thing, it was way too expensive, the food was terrible, we only got 1 free drink and then we had to pay, even for soft drink. The free drink included wine but not beer! the entertainment was poor. The whole thing left me, and many other guests, feeling very ripped off.	7.2/10
