Nora Beach Resort & Spa...
New to this heaven is the Nora Beach Resort & Spa. Nora may just be starting off but friendly staff and its unique Southern Thai atmosphere is backed by hundreds of years of Thai hospitality. Nora is named after the traditional mystical dance of southern Thailand. It is hoped that the resort's service and relaxed ambience will emulate the grace and charm of this ancient art of dance.

The resort enjoys a spectacular hillside setting, overlooking a secluded bay just north of the world-famous Chaweng Beach. Although only few minutes from the island's boutique airport and a short drive from central Chaweng, Nora is secluded and private, a little village within lush gardens.

A Private Garden...
Guests of the Nora Beach Resort & Spa will feel transported back to the Siam of yesteryear. The architecture throughout the resort is a fusion of classical Thai style and contemporary luxuries. The resort magnificent lobby is open-sided and invites cool sea breezes, scented by the lively greens of the surrounding gardens.

One of the most charming features of the resort is the terraced stream, which runs from a pool in the lobby and gently flows through the grounds before plunging into a waterfall and mixing with the waters of the Thai gulf. As this lovely stream runs past your villa, the soothing sound of running water will gently lull you to sleep.

The resort's luxurious villas and rooms are spacious and all offer wonderful views of the ocean or lush gardens. Traditional Thai silk and furnishings impart a Siamese flavour, while the modern fittings ensure that guests experience every possible comfort. The Nora has 113 rooms in Six different categories.

Southern Comfort
All rooms at the Nora Beach Resort and Spa combine old-world charm with 20th century comforts. Every room has its own flat screen TV with satellite access and the villas and suites even have their own DVD players, perfect for a lazy day in bed. Other amenities found in all rooms include, IDD telephone, in room safes, a fully stocked mini-bar, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryers and luxury bathrobes.

17th February 2012 Ross Edwin Burnett	Very nice setting on the beach although the hotel is at the end of the beach so it s a bit of a hike into town, the benefit being that the area is much quieter. It s also a bit of a walk from your room to the beach unless you re staying in one of the beach front rooms. Staff were OK but not exeptional.	6.6/10
22nd December 2011 Ang Peng Seong	Booked 3 ocean view villa for my family of 7A+1C+1 infant. Plus. Nice room with very good view of pool and sea, beach. Room service and reception excellent. Spa was good. Minus. Need more facilities for kid. A distance away from nearby town. 15mins walk to nearest restaurant outside hotel. Hotel bus service to town is too less. Free internet service only at main lounge.	6.4/10

3rd January 2011 Mike Hofmann	Good location and nice rooms, buffet breakfast have much choises. Reception is very efficient and good. Housekeeping is very bad as they always forgot the Towels, cleaned up after 5.30pm and needed 30-45min to bring forgot towels to Room. Altogether very nice vacation and good hotel expect the Housekeeping Sercive.	8.6/10

14th September 2010 Tatiana Voloshina	Our staying at Nora wasn t very pleasant. The photos of the hotel posted at its website don t meet reality. The hotel is very old. The swimming pool is too small for such a hotel and smells clorine. Also we didn t like staff. They weren t nice. And it is influence on the atmosphere around you. The restaurant at the hotel really bad but prices are higher than in the other hotels where we stayed. We even got poisoned there. There are only to things that were ok in the hotel: breakfast (quite wide range of dishes), sea (there are still some stones and algae but it is deep enough). If you are not planning to rent a motorbike or a car you d better choose another hotel (closer to the center of Chaweng or better on Lamai)	4.6/10

7th February 2010 Marie Company	Great place to stay, for us foreigners. Lovely and beautiful hotel by the sea, in a lovley green garden. Quiet good service, BUT for our stepdaughter, who is thai, all personell wasn´t so nice,some treated her bad, a lady doing nails by the pool, and a couple of ohters, women, in the restaurant and by the pool, she said, and added that is common for thais. Not very nice, I wanted to forward this to the management but she did not want me to do so, so I did´nt, even thew I think that´s BAD SERVICE. All guests should be treated equal, we pay equal, that´s not to much to ask for, I think. This hotel did not seem used to have thai customers. We could compare to ohter hotels because we had quite a trip, and lived at 3 more hotels during this holiday, where this problem was´nt obvious. The Spa was loveley, and the personel there very nice, even to my stepdaughter. Do´nt miss it!	8.6/10

30th November 2009 Wang Ying	Although not locates in center, the hotel provides free shuttle bus to guests. It takes about 10 minutes to downtown. Dinner in the hotel restaurant accompanied by the band is wonderful. Breakfast is good. We also enjoyed spa in the room with nice sea view. Service is also good. It s a pleasent stay in Nora Beach Resort & Spa.
12th October 2009 Araya Rungsang	We had such a pleasant time at Nora Beach Resort. We stayed at the beachfrot pool villa for 2 nights and wish it could be forever. The room is extremely beautiful, very well decorated, super exclusive since we have our own private beach just right in front of the villa. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The only drawback was the fact that resort is a lil too far from all the happenings in Chaweng center. However, the rest of the hotel are quite made up for that. We would definitely gonna go back. I Highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway.	9.4/10

21st June 2009 Dinera Nukhova	Отличный отель!\r\nпрекрасное обслуживание, хорошие рестораны по довольно приемлемым ценам, отличное расположение - в тишине у моря, но при этом недалеко (5мин на машине и 15-20мин пешком) от \ светской жизни\ - рестораны, бары, магазины района Chaweng Beach. Более всего порадовало теплое отношение к гостям, безупречный сервис (были затем в 5* - Santhiya на o Phangan) номера и территория лучше, но сервис намного хуже)
18th June 2009 Miss Louise A Winning	We were really pleased with our stay at Nora Beach. It was our second visit to the resort and everything was just as wonderful as our previous vist. The staff couldn t do enough to help you, the place was spotless and we enjoyed every minute. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. There was an amazing variety of food, practically everything you could imagine in buffet style and there was also chef to cook certain types of food to order / how you like it. You get to eat your breakfast by the lovely beach. I could have stay at Nora Beach forever! When we left, our flight was early in the morning. The staff contacted us the day before to ask what time we were leaving as they were aware of this. They then arraged for one of the staff to take us to the airport, no charge, and they packed us up a breakfast and drinks to take to the airport with us! It was so nice! I would definately recommend Nora Beach to anyone and would love to return again one day.
