Just ask us! Every day, many people walk along Chaweng beach and discover our place with its fine food, its welcoming atmosphere that combines provincial France and the generous hospitality of Thailand, all here on the beautiful beach located at the tip of Chaweng Bay. Opposite the Papillon is Koh Matlang, within easy reach by canoe or swimming.

ACCOMMODATION

In a luxurious tropical garden, 23 bungalows all tastefully decorated with natural slates and wood in Lana-Thai style. There are 4 types of bungalows, Standard ,Large, Mini-Suite and Suite (with two independent bedrooms + 1living room) located in the lush tropical gardens or on the Seafront.

All bungalows are fully equipped with air-conditioned, mini-bar, safety box, hot water & hair dryer, WC, international phone connection and your own private terrace where you can languish in peace and tranquility or you can always spend the afternoon lazing by the pool and Jacuzzi.

RESTAURANT & BAR

More than only the hospitality, the user-friendship and the kindness, the Thai and French cultures also share a great reputation of quality and variety about their delicious food. It naturally brings out a well furnished menu, mixing the tastes and pleasures for the happiness of the big as well as the more young greedy butterflies.

The arrangements of the tables discretely and carefully designed to allow you to choose according to your wishes (close to the pool to keep a look at the more young butterflies, on beachfront to get lost in the contemplation of the view or in a more intimate place to fully enjoy a honey-moon) achieve to sublime this so friendly and personalized atmosphere.

And because, as well as the Niceguy Massilia and the Lutecia Sativa, all the butterflies like to joint together to party in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying many delicatessen, we organise regularly different food-parties , buffets or barbecues. That allows us to wait until the extraordinary Gala-dinners for the great time like Christmas or New Year Eve
We s serve Breakfast or any meal during all the day (from 7am to 10.30pm) in our Restaurant, at the poolside or in your Bungalow without any extra charges. For the drinks, do not worry, we only close the Bar when you whish to go to sleep.

23rd February 2011 Kristine DeCaneo	This place was lovely. The food was awesome at the restaurant, the pool was great, the setting was pristine. Our room was clean and spacious, very comfortable. The location is great because it s close to chaewang but away from the chaos, very secluded little spot. The staff was fantastic, friendly and helpful. Loved the pool deck with steps down into the gulf!	10/10

9th January 2011 Mikael Holmström	Small, guiet and relaxing hotel. Perfect for family with kids that dont want to be desturbed by boozing youth. The pool is a little small and the loss of a beach outside the hotell is a minus for the resort, still big chaweng is just around the corner.	8/10

The staff were terrific - very friendly and helpful and great with the kids. Good end of the beach - easy to access the beach but away from all the hustle of the main beach. 21st April 2010 Harrer	It was a great experiance. We stayed 5 nights with 2 children in the bungalow in front of the pool and the sea and we loved it. We´ve got a room-upgrade because of the low-season and it was fantastic. The bungalow was very stylish, new, but a bit too small for families and always clean. The staff was also friendly and the breakfast was good. Only the pool was a bit pity. The resort ist located on the end of chaweng, where it is very quite and the sea is perfect, but you can´t swimm. When we were leaving they brought us to the airport not for free. Papillon Resort we can recommend to anyone – good service for good price.	9/10

The staff were excellent and very helpful with any needs. The location on the north end of Chewang meant it was very quiet yet only 5-10 minutes from all the action . We re looking forward to staying here again.	10/10
24th November 2009 Remne/Mannerström	Väldigt bra hotell med lugnt läge i norra Chaweng.Bra personal och gudomlig frukost. Inte så barnvänligt tyvärr med små barn,då det stupar rätt ner några meter till havet.Ett litet minus också för att handukarna aldrig blev riktigt fräscha.Trots att vi fick nya varje dag så luktade de unket.Men över lag så var det ett mykigt mysigt boeende.	8.4/10

We hade the most beautiful and tidy bungalow and the staff is wonderful. The poolarea is nice, much appreciated by the kids. Will definitely visit again!	9.4/10

17th July 2009 Tom Boxer	no complaints, booking went well, hotel staff and management were friendly, although in Chaweng it was the quiet side of the beach. I never tried the food as I was always eating out. The pool was adequate, but kinda small, would not be a good pool for laps. Would I return yes I would!
17th May 2009 Karen Bradshaw	The hotel was reasonable for the price. Breakfast was good. Only negative is that the bathroom floor had to be swept with a mop each time you had a shower as water flooded that bathroom floor.
12th April 2009 colin & christine griffith	What a great place to stay, the staff were most helpfull, the rooms are a little dark.If you dont have your own transport getting into town or just shopping is dear--200bht to just to go into town.I dont think i will stay there again, it was poor value for money, you can stay for half the price in Phuket.( THEY PUT A GOOD WEDDING ON )
