Coconut tree is a symbol of Koh Samui. So, Coconut Beach Resort tries to reflex the heart of Samui Island. Our resort is a place to relax; it is a land of coconut. We keep the traditional coconut farm since 1950 as my hotel garden. Coconut Beach resort located at the most beautiful point of Lamai beach. Total area of the project is 16,000 square meters with 133 meters beach front areas.

There are 44 luxurious rooms. The hotel rooms decorate with contemporary Thai style teak wood furniture. The rooms are provided a private balcony and luxury bathroom, each room fully furnish with modern facility for maximizing the guest happiness.

Accommodation

Currently 44 rooms in the hotel, divided into standard and luxury room. Each room decorated with Thai contemporary style, and own private out-door balcony overlooking the garden and sea (balconies on second and third floor only).

Every room is air conditioned with individual thermostat control by bed side. The room facilities include telephone, 26 inch LCD TV, multi channels cable T.V., fridge with mini-bar, in-room safe box, hair dryer, coffee/tea complimentary, luxury bath room hot and cold shower.

Standard room featuring unobstructed views of garden and coconut firm. Offering comfort and space for business and leisure travelers, standard rooms offer a choice of double bed or twin beds, comfortable seating, writing desk and chair, balcony, and in-room safe.

16th March 2012 Peter Ronald Bush	Great central location and good sized rooms. That s the only positives. This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Thailand. On arrival the receptionist was unfriendly and was like that for our duration. The rooms were poorly cleaned. My daughter found a used cotton bud on the floor of the bathroom on arrival. Bed sheets were stained and felt unclean. On 2 occasions we had to ask for our rooms to be cleaned at 4pm, despite being out for 4 or 5 hours. Toiletries were not replenished. We had to ask for loo roll on 3 occasions. The balconies varied from having 2 mismatching chairs to none at all. The balcony doors had large gaps enabling mosquitos to enter the room. We had to buy coils to keep them down. The wifi is limited to reception area and a few rooms close to reception. The coffee facilities was a kettle and paper cups in reception. There are definitely far better hotels in this price bracket.	5.4/10
20th February 2012 Malene Knudsen	There were 2 girls at the reception, which certainly was not very serviceminden or particularly helpful. We have also an emergency where we need to send a fax to a doctor in Damnark. It was not posible by the hotel and they tell us that we only could do this in the town :0(	7/10

21st December 2011 Rune Divander	Very nice hotel, nice big room, clean and neat! Very hi-tec, good wifi in the room! Close to the beach. The only negative I would like to mention was the small restaurant with little choice of breakfast! Can really recommend this hotel! If you go there by taxi, tell the driver it s the COCONUT BEACH RESORT and NOT Lamai Coconut Beach Resort, which is close by. We came to the latter one and had to walk on the beach with suitcases.	9.6/10

16th April 2011 Elena Kolesnik	It is a perfect place to stay with friendly staf and very cosy atmosfere inside and outside. New big room with balcony, nice (wooden) furnite and smart system of control (air condition, light, tv). Located near the main pub and shopping street. On the beach there is a very cosy lounge bar Chilin with relaxing music, friendly staff, good cousine. Close the other very nice beach bar with tasty and chip thai food	10/10

Close to any facility of Lamai Beach (200m from restaurants and shops) you can easily reach Chaweng by taxi or motobike. No free Internet, cold shower in bungalows.	6.6/10

15th September 2009 Daniel Humphreys	I stayed in a beach bungalow for the first night and wasn t impressed, the bungalows are very old and in need of upgrade, however after speaking to the staff I was moved into a room in the new building for no extra charge. These new rooms are really good, large and modern rooms with a balcony. Very easy access to the beach, and though the resort lacks its own bar / restaurant it really doesn t matter as there are so many close by. Also very good location if you wish to indulge in the local nightlife.	6.6/10
