12th April 2012 Detlef Knapheide | Cleaning was not really good done. The hotel is in a poor condition. A litlle bit more cleaning would help a lot. | 4/10 |
11th March 2012 just joergensen | In this hotel there is a very bad service in the restaurant were many things were sold out and the staff coudnt care less. They just enjoyed to sit together and talk to eachother instead off taking care off the guests.
The massageservice is violently overpriced It was first after some days we got the correct room, and there was no compensation for the lack ofseawiew all in all bad experience | 3.2/10 |
10th December 2011 Pam Rogers | I went to Nantra De Deluxe to relax away from it all and that s just what I did. The room was great for price I paid (discount on www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com). The beach is long and I could walk for a long time. There were local people fishing and everyone was very friendly. The staff of Nantra were very nice and responded to any request promptly. I can highly recommend it if you want to get away from it all.
On the down side, if you want a manicured beach don t come here. There was alot of garbage. Sad what we humans do to nature. It isn t the resorts fault. Still great for sunsets though.
The food is expensive and not enough variety but if you walk half an hour you can find cheaper places in the bungalows to the north. If you are a vegetarian, it is slim pickings.
The resort puts on great outings and some of them are free. Take advantage of that.
Overall, I really enjoyed my staff due to staff friendliness and the quiet. | 9/10 |
25th November 2011 Steven Daenens | Very nice rooms, but beware: the location is literally in the middle of nowhere. If you come here for a quiet vacation; this is your spot. The hotel does offer excursions, but for us it was just too quiet. Also; sadly; the restaurant is too pricy for too low quality food. And with no other options around; you are pretty much stuck with it | 7/10 |
18th November 2011 Chae Kun Kang | After Bangkok, the out of the way place was perfect. The long sandy beach was a welcome sight for a good run during cloudy days. The resort is surrounded by farms and away from traffic congested Bangkok. A perfect getway from everything | 8/10 |
24th August 2011 Maria | Small hotel in very silent and quiet place, relative wild, with nice sea view, nature and relaxation. Good for people after hard work during year, who does not want to see many people around and who likes nature. | 5.8/10 |
20th February 2011 Merete Ørsted Petersen | Very quiert, but nice for 2-4 days. Free trips every day provided by the hotel. The service is outstanding! | 8.4/10 |
2nd February 2011 Mogens Nordtorp Serup | A very nice hotel. But far away from everything. The staff (with Anita in front) were really great and loved our children. The beach wasn t great as other part of Thailand. The price are a little high, but look out for Hot deals . | 7.2/10 |
26th April 2010 Ferdinand Leist | This is a very quiet and peaceful hotel with big rooms an woderful personal. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere very much. The beach could be a little bit cleaner but the hotel is super | 9/10 |
17th April 2010 deborah kathleen foss | We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights at the resort Nantra the luxe. The staf was very nice and helpfull. The resort was very quite. The free shuttle bus service was good, because the resort is far from shops and restaurants. | 8.8/10 |
9th December 2009 Gunn-Ida Jensen | Very nice quiet place, very good service, thanks to Mr. Bee and his staff. We will visit you again. | 10/10 |
15th October 2009 Salisa Wongong | The hotel is quiet place for relax. The staff of hotel is very friendly and services is very good. The room is comfortable and clean. | 8.4/10 |
31st July 2009 G.F. Pinna | We would stay at Nantra de Luxe. When we arrived at the airport, the hotel manager phoned us to say that we were the only guests at Nantra de Luxe, so he told us that we would stay at The Boutique Beach resort and upgrade the room. We had an excellent time here!! The ambience is terrific. The management, Bee, was very kind and helpfull. The staff was also very kind and friendly. The rooms are very large. It is a very quiet place. If you want to go out or have dinner outside, don t go here. There is nothing around nearby. We did find a litte shop, where you can buy cigarettes. But if you tell Bee (the manager)that you need anything, the staff will buy it for you. He is a very friendly and helpfull person.
The resort offers you some arrangements to go to for free (krabi town, waterfalls etc.).We never saw that in other hotels. Internet also for free.Dinner is good. In a perfect ambience, near the sea, candlelight and nice music.
What else do you need? Nothing! It was a great time. We would stay here again. It was our 8 time in Thailand, so we had a lot of hotels the past years. Especially the evenings are very romantic here.
Thank you very much Bee for your kindness. Jack and Claudia | 9.4/10 |
11th May 2009 Mark Friedman | It has great potential but...more remote than I imagined, cannot pick up a long tail boat from the beach, rooms not totally closed so it was very buggy, too expensive for the overall room quality and location. Nice to get away, but a bit too far from everything
8th April 2009 Bronislava Zemberova | The resort is really pleasant place for those who don t mind being in the middle of nowhere (i.e. distant from the town and places where it lives by 45min ride from the resort). There is of course possibility of a taxi, but it is rather financially disturbing, so for brave ones there might by car-hire more benefitial. This could be one of the odds.
More of the positive sites: great service, and the manager of the resort Mr. Bee does great effort in the things he does. The very special treatment of his was something we missed in any other accomodation facility in Thailand, seriously. (Even in Bangkok). As for the accomodation, I have spent wonderful days (and nights:) in Pool Villa and that was quite crucial for having enjoyable stay. The fact you have your own pool in your own area (nobody seeing you, nobody watching you, just you and your taste for a dive with your partner or alone). Food was excellent, perhaps I would advise more selections in regular menu - so very hungry guests can really have the chance to choose from for taking their time for at least half an hour as there are very few restaurants (I guess 2-3 from nearby resorts) and only one shop (part of the nearest resort). I missed vast selection of fresh fruits. This was quite missing. But for 6 day stay it was perfect. Then you need to change the place (unless you don t mind doing the same things), unfortunately, in my case, I had switched from this heaven to nightmares and was very disapointed in other 2 places on Ko Lanta Yai and in Bangkok. Oh well, nothing is real as on pictures on the web.
7th April 2009 Judy Ng | We stayed at the pool villa. Great place to relax and unwind. All the hotel staffs are very friendly and Mr B is wonderfully helpful and remembers every guests by their names.
