natural beauty and lots of space. Located well distant from crowded beaches and resorts,
the only sound is that of the waves sliding in and out and slowly breaking onto the sandy shore.
Built within the rainforest as it meets the silver ocean strand, you would hardly know Pimalai was there.
The luxury beach resort occupies 100 acres of tropical vegetation
with direct access to a 900 meters stretch of pristine sandy beach and offers 121 accommodation units -
Deluxe, Bayfront Deluxe, Pavilion Suite, Beach Villa and Pool Villa - all very elegantly appointed.
From the mainland, it takes about 1 hour by the resort boat to reach Lanta and Pimalai
but it is worth bearing this "hardstrip" in order to find such a unique lost paradise in tourist Thailand...

ACCOMMODATION Room The resort features 75 elegantly appointed rooms and suites offering king size and twin beds and decorated in classy contemporary Thai style design. :: Deluxe Room :: 
64 Units - 48 sq.m., Garden & Partial Seaview, Sixteen clusters of two-storey buildings of southern Thai style architecture,
containing four rooms. Each air-conditioned room has 48 square meters
of living space with polished teak wood floor, rich Thai cotton upholstery,
Bamboo curtains, and beautiful Siamese artefacts. The bedroom equipped
with king size or twin beds open onto a large balcony equipped with
wooden furniture and a cooling overhead fan. The adjacent large bathroom
includes bathtub, separate walk-in shower and toilets. Other features include personal safe, tea & coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, remote control satellite TV., CD/DVD Player, free internet access, hair dryer, clothes line, refrigerator, mini-bar, cotton bathrobe, slippers. :: Bayfront Deluxe Room :: 
4 Units - 70 sq.m., Seaview, Each air conditioned deluxe room, equipped with king size bed
has more than 70 sq.m. of living space and offers refined Thai style interior design.
The large bathroom features a bathtub overlooking the bay,

7 Units, Seaview, Pavilion Suites are available in combination of one (2 units) and two
bedrooms (5 units), offering a living space from 110 square meters up
to 170 square meters. A separate lounge with outside wooden sun deck
opens onto the bay as well as onto a private miniature garden planted
with ferns and tropical plants. A corridor leads into the bedroom and the bathroom. Featured in the oversized bathroom is a bathtub overlooking another secluded manicured garden which is also equipped with an open air shower. All suite master bedrooms are equipped with a king size bed; in the Pavilion Suites 2 Bedrooms, the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds and also features a second oversized bathroom of the same design. The second bedroom is well detached from the main building and therefore offers complete privacy to its occupants. Spectacularly located, hidden away among coconut palms and lush tropical
vegetation and adjacent to the main resort are the seven Pimalai Beach
Villas. In line with the resort southern style architecture, the superb
villas set peacefully within landscaped garden and with direct access
to Ba Kan Tiang pristine sandy beach. Spacious, thoughtfully designed with refined elegance and comfort, the villas one, two and three bedrooms offer privacy and views of the beach and the Andaman sea towards a brilliant Thai sunset. :: The Beach Villa One Bedroom :: Living Space : Approximately 150 sq.m.

Each Villa has a total living area of 204 sq.m. built on a piece of hilly land ranging from 700 to 1000 sq.m. approximately.
Spacious, elegant and unpretentious in their architectural design,
they provide commanding views of Ba Kan Tiang bay and the surrounding lush tropical forest.
The villa consists of a master bedroom facing the bay;
featured in the adjacent large bathroom is a "rain-shower"
and a large bathtub set behind a window panel overlooking the bay.
The bedroom opens onto a spacious sundeck featuring a private 5,5 x 3 meters
infinity edge swimming pool and a Thai sala allowing private Spa treatment whenever needed. The nearby kitchenette will allow you if you wish to prepare your favorite meal or snack. Across the sundeck, the spacious living room opens onto a balcony terrace and is equipped with elegant furniture, TV and CD's/DVD's components. The existing sofa bed can be converted into a bed for visiting friend who will also be provided with privacy with the adjacent bathroom equipped with shower, vanity basin and toilets.

The main restaurant offers outdoor dining areas with sweeping views of the resort's infinity-edge swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the bay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus offer both Thai and Western dining choices. Baan Pimalai seats 60. :: Spice'n Rice Restaurant :: A very elegant air-conditioned restaurant offering classic Thai cuisine. Spice'n Rice seats 40. 
:: Rak Talay Beach Bar & Restaurant :: this restaurant nestled beneath towering shady trees from where guest can take in the sweeping views of the Andaman Sea and gentle southern breezes. The menu features casual light snacks, including salads, pasta & great sandwiches. Freshly caught grilled seafood and a variety of light stir fried Thai style dishes are also available at dinner time. Rak Talay seats 50. :: The Seven Seas Restaurant & Wine lounge :: Located on the hill, some 60 meters above sea level the restaurant features modern western cuisine with a twist of Asian flavours. It is also a bar from where you can enjoy breathtaking views whilst enjoying a great bottle of wine selected from our award wining cellar. Seven Seas seats 80.

an informal spot for refreshing drinks and light snacks whilst sunbathing around our stunning infinity-edge swimming pool. :: Library Lounge :: The library, which is adjacent to the resort shop, has an extensive selection of reading materials as well as computers with free Internet access so guests can keep in touch with family and friends. :: Sightseeing & Excursions :: Pending on weather and sea conditions, a variety of excursions are available on the island including; jungle walking, elephant trekking, snorkelling in nearby islands and of course scuba diving thanks to the resort based Gold Palm PADI dive center. (Nov - Apr). There are many exceptional attractions within a short distance of the resort, including the Marine National Park where numerous monkeys and other wildlife can be spotted and the famous and stunning Emerald Cave on Koh Muk. Eco-Tour sea canoeing is also possible on nearby rivers. At last, Scuba Diving sites (Nov - April only) are exceptional in this part of Thailand because the surrounding coral reefs remain untouched. Other island excursions include Koh Rok, Koh Kradan, Koh Gnai and Koh Haa.
