Twin Bay Resort, absolute beach front living.
Twin Bay Resort is located at the northern end of Kow Kwang Beach in a secluded bay with a peaceful atmosphere and natural environment. Here you will find the best conditions for swimming, boating, dive trips and fishing. The bay is well known for its powder sand beaches and crystal clear waters and is surrounded by a lush tropical forest.

At Twin Bay the emphasis is on rest, relaxation and the comfort of each guest. All of the rooms are set in a tropical gardens giving both privacy and a back to nature feeling. In addition you will find that all our staff have a 'can do' attitude to ensure a fun experience. The Twin Bay team is always on hand to give you a great holiday. In keeping with the harmony and natural setting, the menu features local seafood, fresh produce and succulent fruits. We probably have the best Thai chefs on the island.

ACCOMMODATION

34 comfortable bungalows and suites, 18 Standard, 8 Family, 1 Family Deluxe, 5 Deluxe Rooms and 2 Suites. All bungalows and suites have outside patio with sea or garden view and are fully equipped with the following:

2 Bungalows nested in the green garden and closet to the beach. These Bungalows come with private balcony views of the swimming pool overlooking to the beach. The room size is bigger, at 72 square meters with private living area and king size bed. Rooms decorated with teak wood furniture, fine Thai fabrics and wooden handcrafts. Extra large size bathroom, equipped with an outdoor Jacuzzi.

RESTAURANT

The Twin Bay Resort Restaurant is well known to be one of the best on Deer next Beach, serving exquisite Thai and Western cuisine at affordable prices. The extensive menu covers everything from swordfish steak, and the restaurant also specializes in a variety of traditional Thai dishes, rarely seen on other menus. A tantalizing daily selection of fresh seafood is available and regular beach barbeques provide a great way to mix with other guests.

15th December 2011 Iain & Jane Drysdale	we had the best time at Twinbay resort, a lovely bungalow right on the beech, the breakfast was ok,the food and service in the restuarant by the beach was so good wasn1t neccesary to go out but there were cheap tut tut s from the resort into town, so relaxing back there next year. our only complaint was www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com was not there to meet us at krabi airport(which we had paid for)and only with the help of a stranger as no-one seemed to speak english 1.5 hrs later www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com taxi arrived, so we arrived in the dark	8.6/10
25th October 2011 Sami Eloluoto	Very ok feeling about our 10 nights. Season just started, so service not yet 100%. Stayed at bungalow 337, but was too big for us and if they have use generator, its too close. Next time on the beach and other side the pool. Moving by scooter recommended(200thb/day from Saladan)	7.2/10
31st August 2011 Jakkhoo	Stay 5 night in this hotel, very friendy staff, we were invited by the owner to join them for lunch. Family chalet is of good size, very clean with comfortable king bed and double decker, with a nice mosquito net too. Beach is very flat, can walk very far out during low tides and join local fisherman/kids to pick clams, need some skill to indentify right place to dig... it was fun, on the right side of the beach abt 300m away is rocky, and plenty of shell to pick. Remember to bring insect repellent....	9.6/10
9th May 2011 LI XIAOQIAN	Lovely room and nice staff. Very good location but Poor transportation during low season. The hotel restarant is closed during low season. But really good place to relax, very quiet and beautiful.	7.6/10
21st February 2011 Carsten Imhof Gellert	February 2011 We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children 7 and 10 years. The bungalow was in order and the standard was really by Thailand standard quite ok. Places Nobody was quite ok, close to the beach, but sufficiently away so there was no uproar. approx. 1000 meters to port. Good pool and the food was fine. Lovely views from the pool area and the opportunity to book trips around the area.	10/10
14th February 2011 Kim David Hjortshøj	Super lækker beliggenhed lige ved dejlig sandstrand, som kan nydes både fra pool, bungalow og restaurant. Stranden er flot og meget ugenert. Hotellet ligger ca. 2 km. fra Saladan, som er en traditionel thailandsk by med marked og restauranter, en tuk tuk til byen koster 20 TBH (4 kr.). Værelserne er rummelige og særdeles velegnede til familier med børn. Eneste minus er myggene om aftenen, så det er svært at sidde på terrassen om aften uden at blive bidt. Hotelpersonale er meget venlig og ydede en rigtig god service, maden var fin og til rimelige priser. Poolområdet er også rigtig lækkert både til børn og voksne. Absolut et besøg værd, en perfekt kombination af fred og ro samt byliv tæt ved.	9/10

17th May 2010 Renate Saur	The most beautiful place!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was excellent, and cleaned every day. Fantastic beach with crystal clear water - very nice for children. Almost no wawes. Pool, bar and restaurant was PERFECT. A bit far for walking to Salaldan. (At least in May -very hot!!!) but the resort drove us in whenever we wanted for a small paymenet. We loved this place!!! thanks to tøysekoppen who made funny days for our children:-)	9.4/10
3rd March 2010 LEROUX Stephane	A good resort, with a good location and facilities. The breakfast buffet is very good and the restaurant too. Nevertheless, for such a kind of resort, they could propose more free service as taxi to town (2.5 km) and internet, there is a laundry service but very overprice than in town. All the staff is very helpful, and friendly.	7.4/10

25th December 2008 Yngve and Britt Emilsson	We did not like this hotel, standard was not as described on internet. Dirty beach and no sun-chairs. Sunbeds in pool-area were always booked in the morning by quests and many of us have to go without. We had two sunbeds outside our bungalow and asked for madras but the did not have any. Walls and floor in toilet and shower was in cement with some careless colour. A lot of mosquitos and cockroatches, even inside mosquito net when we waked up in the morning. And this was De Luxe!!! The pool area and restaurant was nice, good food. It was not worth the price. Before our stay at Twin bay we lived on a resort at half price and very good standard. We will never live on Twin Bay resort again

31st October 2008 Anton Ruetsche	the hotel is great. it has e verry good price-worth balance. we was there with children. the staff spendet much time with them playing, so that they felt happy. the restaurant at the beach is verry romantic. the management was verry generous to us.
19th February 2008 Samuel Linjer	Nice and quiet hotel, stayed for 4 nights in superiour bungalow. Good resturant and breakfast. Pleasant staff and good service. The hotel is a bit off from other hotels at the beach (500). The tide made it difficult to take a bath - very shallow. Nice pool area. Resturant tip at Lanta - Klapa Klum at Long Beach, - have your meal in a tree hut... Staff arranged motorbike hiering and boat trips.
19th February 2008 I. Nilsen	I have seen the comments below, and want to add that we liked this place very much. We couldn t get a beach bungalow, so we had to move, but this place has lots of good qualities (peaceful, nice staff, good poolarea). The restaurant in Twinbay Resort makes exquisite food! We visited almost all the restaurants in the area, and in Twinbay Resort they really serve high-quality food!
15th January 2008 Licari Enrico	The hotel is in a quite pisition, the staff is fiendly, and meal is quite good, my only suggestion is that they shoul do something in the bathroom, they very poor, we stay in another hotel in ko Lanta, it was less expensive and the room was much better.
