Sala Talay Resort and Spa is the newest contemporary resort on Ao Nanag Beach, combining wooden Thai architecture design with simply facilities and amenities. Fisherman Village is the theme, peaceful serene, atmosphere where one can simply relax and live by the sea. We are located on the south coast of Thailand in Krabi, a beach front resort on Ao Nang Beach, just 30 minutes drive from Krabi International Airport to the resort.

Sala Talay Resort and Spa is the newest contemporary style resort in Krabi, a beach front resort on Ao Nang Beach, and is surrounded by tropical trees. Every moment of your time with us will be touched by our pleasant natural surroundings, inclusive of breathtaking sea views and fresh ocean breeze. Add to this our excellent service and accommodation and you will have a fantastic holiday that you will cherish forever.

ACCOMMODATION

Relaxed, tropical living comes easily with 59 Sala guest rooms and special offer garden, pool access and ocean view rooms, including 20 Sala Sea View Deluxe rooms which are located on the 2nd floor. We also have 12 Sala Sea View Grande Deluxe rooms on the 3rd floor of each building. We also have 21 Sala Pool Access rooms on the 1st floor with the swimming pool right outside your door. We also have 4 Sala Moonlight Suite on the ground floor and two Sala Penthouse Pool Suites on the top floor, plus two Penthouse Suites right at the top - both of which have their own private pools.

:: Deluxe Room ::

These rooms, located on the 2nd floor, are spacious and decorated in a stylish and simple contemporary manner. Each room has a minimum of 45 square meters of living space with a choice of king size or two single beds (twin beds). These rooms feature an exclusive bathroom including a separate tropical shower.

:: Pool Access ::

Also consisting of 45 square meters, these outstanding rooms are located on the 1st floor and they allow for intimate privacy with direct access to our large swimming pool and lagoon from your doorstep. They also include private sun lounge areas on your very own balcony.

:: Grand Deluxe Room - Sea view ::

Consisting of 65 square meters of living space, these incredibly spacious rooms are located on the 3rd floor. They not only comprise of stunning views of Ao Nang Beach, but also boast your own private haven beside the room. With a dreamy daybed, it is perfect for a relaxing and sunbathing.

:: Mangrove Suite ::

Forget about time, in the privacy and seclusion of the Mangrove Suite. There is one bedroom, separate living and dining rooms, and 95 square metres of spacious luxury, opening out onto the breathtaking scenery of our garden with its bushy mangrove. The bathroom consists of a separate bathtub and tropical shower ('Balinese' - style) which provides the final ingredient for a blissful holiday, and is perfect for the needs of a family who want to 'get away from it all'!

:: Pakarang Thai and Seafood Restaurant ::
Location: At the side of the hotel entrance next to the main reception area. Accessible from the beach road for outside guests. The beach front restaurant on Ao Nang Beach.

This fine-dining restaurant is on the beachfront and surrounded by landscaped gardens. The ambiance is casual and relaxing and the menu includes an ? la carte section, fresh seafood, exotic fruits and juices and unique beverages and cocktails.

Seating for 80 people.
Open daily from 12:00 am to 12:00 pm.

:: Breeze Grill and Wine ::
Location: On the roof top of the reception building, overlooking Ao Nang Beach. The beach front restaurant on Ao Nang Beach.

The panoramic ocean and beach view offers you a relaxing atmosphere where you can meet for drinks, a light meal, breakfast with the view at the beach front restaurant, lunch and dinner or even after dinner cocktails with the view at the beach front restaurant. The menu includes an la carte section, fresh seafood, exotic fruits and juices and unique beverages and cocktails.
Seating for 120 people.
Open daily from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm.

:: Wave Bar ::
"Drinks By The Sea" has fantastic sunsets and a fine selection of chilled cocktails, beers and wines by the glass. The panoramic ocean and beach view at the beach front bar.
Seating for 30 people.
Open daily from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Conveniently located by the pool and ideal for enjoying a variety of light snacks, drinks and finger food.

24th April 2012 Terence Hodson	sayed here for 3 days and found it the best hotel in aonang, at first thought it was not near aonang beach but no trouble just a short walk , the 2nd floor rooms are delightful and it still has that secluded feel with all top amenities	7.6/10

25th September 2011 Tian Cher Bian	Very clean and friendly hotel well worth the price I paid but traffic wise a bit scary we had an accident on the tuktuk and on the way to phang nga there was also a few road accident so remember to put seat belt and better take taxi if possible or walk along the beach overall this is a nice hotel can come back again will recommend to those going to krabi aonang beach	8/10
25th September 2011 Tian Cher Bian	Location pretty near Aonang shopping but if u r lazy to walk, a tuk tuk is always nearby for just 60 baht per lift. We were there on low season for 3 nights on 22/9/11. Enjoy the stay thoroughly. Shower is good, bed is good, aircon is good. Room very well cleaned by keepers, they even fold 3 elephants out of our bath towels n placed it on our bed that looked so cute, we loved it very much, I regretted not giving the housekeepers some tips as appreciation for their warm service. All the staff are very friendly. Room access is fantastic! Will return to Sala Talay but hope that the hotel will continue to upkeep and maintain it s glamour as I know that it is pretty new at the moment	7.6/10

19th August 2011 Lee Chin Ling	We stayed 3 nights at pool access room and 1 night at penthouse suite. We really love jumping into the pool everyday and we love their pool bar!! Penthouse suite is spacious. The water in the private pool was too cold to dip in coz it s shaded. The balcony is great for sun bathing as the area is open to the sky. It has a partial ocean view. Ms Yanisa speaks good fluent English. She answered all my touristy questions with no problem. Most of the staff are warm and friendly, except for one who seem to man the green towels, I haven t seen him with a smile in my 5 days stay. Ao nang centre is about 15mins walk for us. We pass by several other resorts and we find that sala talay is the best one to stay in. We love the modern design of the rooms (it would be perfect if the pool access rooms were bigger.) we could tell that the hotel is pretty popular coz new guests appear right after the previous ones check out. It was nice that the hotel is adequately packed (not overcrowded.) other hotels seem like a dead town. We had a really enjoyable and memorable stay. My friend said she will check out sala talay for her next trip. ;)	8/10

17th May 2011 Roland Vanoni	I was there for one week. I had a great time. The swimmingpool is fantastic. I can recommend the rooms that have access to the pool. It is worth it. The only thing what could be better is that most employees and service stuff speaks very bad english. I think the management of the hotel should sponsor english lessons for their hotel stuff.	8.6/10

Great pool and restaurant and tour guide. we had Sea view Grand deluxe great room and balcony but if we have to find anything not good it would be lack of storage space and light over the mirror.. but that is only if we are looking for something. Its one of the best places that we have stayed and we will surely come back to this Hotel again.	9.6/10
26th October 2009 Stefan P.	Reception and check-in smooth and friendly. Room clean and spacious. Seaview only when leaning out of the balcony and looking around the corner. Hotel is a bit over designed with cold naked cement walls. Breakfast is good. Restaurant service needs improvement. First evening they forgot our order and we left hungry after waiting 40 min. Not enough tables prepared during breakfast busy hour. Had to sit at naked table in the outside area and could not catch attention. Staff did not take care of arriving guests searching for a table. Beach is close, just across the beach road. Would come again, if no alternative available.	7.2/10
