Grigorii Buteiko | The hotel is on the hillside. Rooms are superb, though expensive.
The problem is to get the room which faces the landscape (we were lucky).
If you get the room facing the hillside you will be disappointed.
The stairs from the village to the hotel are not the problem at all, there are just about hundred of them. | 10/10 |

roulaud | il faut monter 278 marches pour atteindre les chambres.
la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivée, et la douche ne pouvait être réglée. elle était bouillante.
le bruit de la fête nocturne de la plage montait jusqu à la chambre
le petit déjeuner était très restreint.
par contre nous avions une très belle vue sur koh phiphi.
le service est très correcte.
en conclusion le prix de la chambre est trop elevé par rapport à la situation et la prestation.

Daelene Kym Norman | I took a group of young adults to Phi Phi for a birthday and we stayed at Arboreal. The girls were not thrilled with the stairs but they got used to them. Not a big deal if you don t suffer from any health issues. You just need to plan your day so you are not up and down them too many times. The valet service for your bags was most welcome. The men take your bags from the ferry and take them all the way to your room. I wouldn t want that job! At the end of your stay they take them all the way back to the ferry. We all thank you for that service. I picked this hotel due to the location because I wanted some peace and quite from the party noises. It was still close enough for the girls to get back and forth from the bars. The rooms were clean the bathrooms worked well. More than I can say for some of the other hotels on the island. The Bathroom is so important on Phi Phi due to the fact that they don t have any fresh water supply it s all reclaimed from the sea. You are hot and sweaty most of the time and a good shower is hard to beat. So two thumbs up for the shower. We didn t eat there so can t comment on the food but the facilities looked nice and clean with a beautiful view. We can recommend a great place to eat Garlic 1972. Great service and the food was excellent. We had two meals there, dinner and breakfast. Not one thing was bad. Cheap, small but very good food. We enjoyed our stay and when in Phi Phi again will stay with Arboreal. Oh one more note of interest we were there during Makha Bucha holiday and I couldn t believe that all the bars are CLOSED on that day. So try not to go on that holiday if your main reason for being there is to party. | 7/10 |

hendrik tunriallu | The location is veey far from the pier. 110 staira up to the receptionist, and another 160 stairs to our room. Very tiring. However, the view was spectacular. Lots of mosquitos in the room. Watch for monkey come to your doorstep if you keave anytrash outside the room.
We add extra bed,butthey did not provide one.instead they just cover the sofa inthw room and call it an extra bed, nd it cost 600bath without bfasf. | 4/10 |

Aleksandar Stanojevic | The view was great, and the room was big and clean. The bathroom was very basic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and assisted us with our luggage up the stairs to the room and back down to the pier(there are a lot of steps depending on how high up the hill you stay). If you get a room high up on the hill, be prepared to walk a lot of steps every day. The breakfast could have been better, it was just the same american breakfast every day, but was sufficient.Overall we were satisfied with the hotel, and the staff were great. | 7.4/10 |

Gerard van Uden | Great resort with friendly staff, far away from the noise on the beach and the drunk people in Phi Phi towncenter. OK, you have to climb quite a few steps (more than 100 if your bungalow is located on top), but the views are great. Porterage available from the pier (and back) at 50 baht pp.
Bungalow was spacious and clean, the view from the balcony was great. Somewhat noisy aircon, but you can t do without.
Bathroom seemed unfinshed (only partly tiled), but was clean and with hot shower.
Towels and bed linen changed daily unless you indicated this wasn t necessary. Towels for beach provided if asked. | 7.2/10 |

Michelle | Couldn t locate anyone at the pier to take us to the hotel. We had to carry our luggage by ourselves, and the hotel was far from the pier. We had to climb a million steps to get to the hotel, which was hard to find. Great view from balcony, but not worth the effort to climb the stairs. You could just go the viewpoint once and get a fantastic view.
Amenities are very basic (only shampoo and soap in bathroom, no hairdryer in room). Shower temperature couldn t be adjusted; it would only run hot or cold.
Staff was polite. They allowed us to have breakfast even though it was 20 minutes past the cutoff time.
Overall, room is not value for money. You could get something of the same standard cheaper. | 5.4/10 |

Yu Qian | this is a banglow on the small hill, about 5 mins walk from the pier, and be prepared that you will definite climb around 50-60 steps up to your room. would be a hardwork if you have some baggages. the view is so so, can see a little bit water and mostly is the green island landscape. location is alright, since the entire phi phi is no more than 10mins aways. and one more thing, the frontdesk is not 24/7. cos i remember one night when i got back around 1 or 2 am, and my shower stopped working, i pratically had no one to turn to. rooms are nice actually. | 7.8/10 |

Radoslaw Weronski | Good rooms for the amount we paid, we had the deluxe room. These rooms are over 200 steps up from the street, so being young and fit helps. The view is beautiful from the rooms. Best part of the stay here was the service of the hotel employees. They first met us at the pier once we got off the ferry, where they took our luggage and brought it all the way to our room, and then upon checking out, they brought our luggage back all the way to the pier. The front desk staff and breakfast service was top notch too. This hotel is a good option for those who want to stay a bit outside of the noisy main town, but still close enough to go enjoy the town via a 5 minute walk. A pool would have been nice, but on the bright side, the rooms have AC. Also, by being up the hill, you are situated closer to the must see viewpoint. | 7.6/10 |
