21st December 2011 Leif GUNNAR SALOMONSSON | Vi tyckte mycket bra om hotellet,lugnt och fint,bra läge,trevlig personal.Bra frukost. | 10/10 |
12th January 2011 Patric Sunnerdahl | We were disappointed, this hotel is a maximum value of 30 euros per night, not 75 -! or for a very unassuming package tourists. The ceiling was yellow with black spots everywhere. The paint is crumbling of the old lamps and furniture. The safety deposit box and TV did not work, and when I complained to the reseption, they took no action. only good is the view from the balcony and breakfast, but it s not worth paying to 75 - euro per night. | 5/10 |
10th January 2011 A-C Bengtsson | Ett bra medelklasshotell med jättebra läge.Nära till centrum och shopping.Lite slitet dock, med tanke på att det endast är 6 år gammalt. Nära stranden och helt ok pool. Trevlig personal. Ok frukostbuffé. | 6.6/10 |
25th February 2010 Benny Duelund Nielsen | We had 3 de luxe rooms - not so much luxury, but ok. Kindly staff, good breakfast, good location.
Room rates a little too expensive compared with better hotels e.g. on Phuket.
All in all ok. We liked to stay there. | 7.6/10 |
14th January 2010 Niklaus Martin | We were very disappointed, this hotel is a maximum value of 10 euros per night, not 75 -! or for a very unassuming package tourists. The ceiling was yellow with black spots everywhere. The paint is crumbling of the old lamps and furniture. The safety deposit box and TV did not work, and when I complained to the reseption, they took no action. And at last was cleaned very bad, mattresses and cleaning materials were not needed were standing in the corridor. The only good is the view from the balcony on the top floor, but it s not worth paying to 75 - euro per night. | 3.8/10 |
4th April 2009 Berndtsson Eva Birgitta | Friendly staff, good location in the new part of Khao Lak. Sad to say that we felt like the hotel s gloriest days has pasted. Not even near fully booked, and we got a room which missed 2 lamps, light on the balcony (which was the smallest of them all I think) for our family of 2 adult + 2 kids. Our friend (1 adult + 1 child) got a room with bigger balcony, bathroom and fully equiped room ... No good daily cleaning and no signs of that extra good feeling we got everywhere else we stayed in Thailand. I hope the place will improve to next season!
1st April 2009 Goran Wirstrom | Nice hotel very close to the beach. The service was good but the cleaning of the room was bad. We had to ask for i.e toiletpaper, towels etc. Otherwise it was OK
19th March 2009 Martin Soltis | Very nice hotel, located 30m from the beach and 10 min. walking distance to the center of Khao Lak. Room is nice, big and silent, breakfast was fine, staff was friendly. We will come back to Suwan Palm!
13th February 2009 Tony B | This hotel surprised. I was upgraded on arrival to a seaview room and enjoyed a few nice days in a beautiful part of Khao Lak. The staff were friendly the rooms clean. It was also quiet, although not full by any means. Perhaps the only negative was the fixed evening menu which didn t inspire, but there are several nice restaurants close by.I would stay again.
11th February 2009 Lars Johansson | fint hotell, rent och snyggt mycet trevlig personal med ett bra läge nära stranden.ingen störande trafik eller discon
1st February 2009 Liselott Froberg | A very nice hotel with friendly stuff. They need to get some more sunbeds because there wasn t enough of them
21st March 2008 Mikael Andersson | Excellent hotel with very good location on the beach. Walking along the beach are very nice and peaceful and it is possibly to find lonely nice place. Walking distance to city of Khao Lak and many good restaurant.
I will highly recommend this hotel.
Thank You Suwan Palm for a nice holliday.
11th March 2008 peter larsson | The hotel is ok but not worth the money. restaurant has twice the price compared to surrounding restaurants. Do not recomend to book this hotel. The breakfast is however good. The airconditioning is very noisy and the hotel is old and need an refreshment.
28th February 2008 Claus Jørgensen | Nice hotel, with good prices on food and drink. To smalle beds by the pool
6th February 2008 Niall Brolly | This hotel was a big disappointment. We had to change rooms twice - the first room was appalling - dark and dismal, with a bathroom the six of a wardrobe and the shower was above the loo. We were grudgingly moved to room with broken fittings, broken blinds and a big gap under the door so all manner of bugs could get in. At ths point the Manger moved us to a better room (although there was still a bif crack running through the door). This is not a place for the independent traveller - it was full of young families on package tours. The breakfast was a buffet but very bad quality. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel or Khao Lak. It is very built up along the beach, most of the evening entertainment is away from the beach. There are far nicer places in Thailand to visit
4th February 2008 Charlotte Brunskov | We only sleept there one night. Our rooms was not beach front, anf the smelled not good. So we asked the manager to move us to another hotel, and we moved the next day. How ever - the hotel IS beach front, locaed in the end of the beach road noce and quied.
24th January 2008 Mikael Steen Eli Pedersen | Nice calm and clean hotel. Booked a familyroom, very old room, no seawiew no balcony and extreme noise from waterpump and aircon unit in bedroom. But area and location perfect.
23rd January 2008 Bjorn persson | This hotel (suwan palm) is not good. Example hotel did not prepare room for us, we have been there 17.00 pm. but we must still waiting for room to be cleaned before we can check in. About hotels staff, they don´t have not good service either. we don´t want to return to suwan palm.we paid 2,700 baht but we didn t get balcony, telephone in room, safety box. It is OK prise if we paid only 1,500 bath/night.
23rd November 2007 Harold Pincket | nice clean hotel.very friendly and helpfull staff!! nice view at the sea.
