The hotel comprises 70 luxurious villas amidst spectacular surroundings of Racha Island. Guests can choose from a variety of types of villa with different comfort and luxury. All are luxuriously appointed with all modern conveniences, including DVD entrainment sets, broadband internet access, mini bar with coffee and tea making facilities, electronic safe box, individual air conditioning, IDD telephone and satellite TV and more.

ACCOMMODATION

Deluxe Villa
The Deluxe Villas laid out in pairs sharing a detached pavilion and are all luxuriously appointed with private terraces and spacious bathrooms; offering both indoor and outdoor shower pleasure. Some feature connecting doors. Floor area measures 43 m²excluding terrace.

Grand Deluxe Villa
These individual villas are larger and some of them boast the best sea views on the island. They offer a large living area and a spacious private terrace. Each Grand Deluxe Villa is superbly designed and features a luxurious bathroom and a rain-shower outside. Floor area measures 54 m²excluding terrace.

Grand Deluxe Pool Villa
The Grand Deluxe Pool Villas are similar to the Grand Deluxe Villas in layout and furnishing. In addition, they feature a private swimming pool or plunge pool and located within the prime areas of the resort. Floor area measures 54 m²excluding private pool and terrace.

Junior Pool Suite Villa
Pamper yourself in the exquisite elegance of the new Junior Pool Suite! These luxuriously appointed pool suites feature the latest in multimedia entertainment and a very private pool with Jacuzzi. All villas offer a large bedroom with a King bed and outdoor terrace to enjoy the sea-views. The spacious bathroom comes complete with a relaxing spa bathtub and offers both indoor & outdoor shower pleasure. Floor area measures 86 m²excluding terrace.

Grand Pool Suite Villa
The large and luxurious Grand Pool Suite feature private infinity-edge swimming pool overlooking the Andaman Sea, a large sundeck and an open-air relaxation pavilion. A pool suites occupy the prime sites within the resort. Floor area measures 93m²excl. private pool and terrace.

Spa Pool Suite:

These luxuriously-appointed Spa Pool Suites feature a large living room and bedroom with a generous en-suite bathroom offering a combined area of 72 m2 (not including the private terrace and outdoor day bed); and boast an intimately designed 5m x 2.5m indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi pool with spectacular fiber optic lighting. A full glass wall allows views of the pool while relaxing in the state-of-the-art living room either on the luxurious sofa or indoor day bed. These ultra-luxurious villas feature high-end Crestron™ lighting controllers, electric blinds; the latest multimedia Bose™ theatre system with a sleek 55" LED TV in the living room, a retractable 46" LED TV and Bose™ iPod dock in the bedroom, and our complimentary in-villa movie library system. The large en-suite bathroom offers a Jacuzzi bathtub and has indoor showers as well as an outdoor rain shower.

2-bedroom Grand Pool Suite:

The exquisitely designed Grand Pool Suites offer 2 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with a combined floor area of 105 m2 (not including terrace), 2 indoor daybeds, a large 10-meter infinity edge pool with underwater music and jacuzzi jets with direct swim-up access to the master bathroom; and a large pool terrace and outdoor daybed to enjoy the spectacular sunset views over the Andaman Sea. Set on Batok Beach overlooking one of Thailand's most spectacular bays on Racha Yai Island, 12 miles to the south of Phuket. 45 minutes transfer from Phuket International Airport to Chalong Bay followed by an additional 30 to 45 minutes by sea. Batok Bay and the beach in front of the resort are public areas and are used by other boats and tourists during the winter months from November to April.

13th November 2009 Beichen Wang	I could not find any problem for this Resort. Perfect service, everyone is smiling all the time with warm service. Fabulous view and really quiet. Lovely food with reasonable prize (less than 50 USD per person for dinner normally). Amazing Mini bar price - any Soda is less than 1USD (before ++). I would definitely come back for another holiday (maybe non peak season as the price is currently a little high...)	10/10

11th December 2008 Arne Luther	The Racha is a fantastic place. Even though it is quite expensive the price/performance is absolutely ok, specially if you compare it with the so called 5 Star resorts in Puket. The rooms are spacious, and nicely designed. The outdoor shower is amazing and the beach is as white as it can be. Lots of small extras are included in the price like internet, bikes, canoes, drinking water... We will come back.
3rd June 2008 C. EMERY	Lovely location but resort could be improved in many ways, which was surprising considering the price. Food is not amazing quality, beach always had litter and driftwood on it (there were more than enough staff milling around that could have resolved this). Definitely are a captive audience - there are no shops or restaurants, so prices are artifically high (nearly 200 Baht for a Singha beer). This resort could be very special, but it has some way to go. Our vila was a fair walk to the beach, and over the brow of a hill, so could not even see the sea. Rooms are nice though.

31st August 2007 Christine Smith	I enjoyed an idyllic restful 7 days holiday at The Racha. It was the best 7 days at a resort for me ever. The food is superbly presented and delicious. The villas provide everything that one may need, I especially enjoyed the outdoor showers. The staff are all friendly and go out of their way to assist you and ensure that your visit is a pleasant one. I loved the attention to the details that this resort provides for its guests. I did not wish to leave and will definitely return. The sea is so clear,clean and warm that one can see the sea bed. If you desire a beautiful piece of nature to relax and recharge which has all the comforts, then this is the resort for you.
