26th February 2012 Lynn Margaret Bedford | This hotel has a three star rating, but I would put it closer to a four. It has a large room and bathroom but does not have a mini bar or safe. The gym is also large and well equipped. The breakfast choice is very good and I would think you could have a full room service. Free shuttle to and from the airport. The best hotel in town, but at the south end- songtows stop outside and shuttle available. | 8.8/10 |
7th August 2011 Tom Kirkenar | Old,charming hotel ,under rehabilitation?Staff friendly, specially bellboys and staff at restaurant.Breakfast above average, but sometime to many people.Reported fridge
not worked at 10 PM,10.30 PM new fridge install!!Pool area and fitness center must upgrade.Have some nice weeks and relax and feel home. Will recommend this hotel,easy-going and pleasant stay. | 6.8/10 |
14th May 2011 susama ounyakowit | It s a convinence place | 6.8/10 |
21st December 2010 Jeremy Mitchell | Excellent hotel, was much better than expected. Impressive reception and sitting areas. Should be a 4* hotel, it s good value. Nice clean friendly room and staff, speaking good English.
One of the best restaurants I ve been too. All the Thai food is cooked in an excellent Thai style, not the usual tourist style. Lovely breakfast buffet too.
Live music played inside and another outside for a great atmosphere.
Also very easy to find and drive to from Surat Thani (just 2 hours). | 9.4/10 |
15th December 2010 STEPHEN MORRIS | Very good, I hev stayed in this hotel many times over the last ten years and it is exellent. | 10/10 |
11th September 2010 Jan Jaszczak | Great hotel, large clean rooms, 5* for restaurant here, delicious food ! | 9.4/10 |
22nd August 2010 R. Deans | One of my favourite hotels, very reasonable price for the standard of accommodation. The restaurant is excellent. | 9.4/10 |
5th January 2010 Jaroslav Chodora | The hotel is a mix of luxury and room requirements mediocrity. The locality seems bleak, a Carrent would be available. The breakfast and the gym and swimming pool are from the same part. Overall, a better hotel. | 6.6/10 |
2nd October 2009 Regine Vincentius | grosse Zimmer, gute Betten, grosse schoene Lobby, Biergarten, abends ueberall life Musik, das beste Thai-Fruehstueck das wir hatten, besonders freundlicher und hilfsbereiter concierge service. Gutes Preiss-Leistungsverhaeltnis. | 8.2/10 |
26th August 2009 Morten Skibsted | Very good hotel with very good rooms. Good service in reception and restaurant. | 9.4/10 |
9th August 2009 David R Dyer | A very well presented hotel with all the services required on the hotel grounds or near by. Staff were confident with english and eacy to understand. Rooms are well presented and very clean. I recomend this hotel to anyone staying in the Nakon si Tammaratt area. | 9.6/10 |
22nd May 2009 Stuart Morley | Very nice hotel. Would stay there again and recommend with question. We needed to change our stay dates and did so without any problems. No safe in room but Hotel felt very safe.
15th February 2009 VAN DIJK HENDRIKUS | The hotel is run by an efficient team, they arranged transportation from and to the airport smoothly. Unfortunately breakfast buffet was extremely poor; due to large non-tourist groups there was hardly anything left at around 09.00 hrs and nothing was refilled. Personnel at the restaurant showed no interest whatsoever. Some of the dishes had even turned cold (like fried eggs and even the boiled rice). The room was great, the swimming pool missing shade spots, the beef from one of the meals could better be called greasy with a taste of beef; all in all, based on the above I would have expected more for the 1650 baht I paid for an off-season day (and booked a whole week). This has been my last stay with Twin Lotus Hotel.
13th February 2009 Muschik Erich | Alles Excellent
3rd February 2009 Peter van Andel | Outside Nakhon Si Thammarat but opposite Lotus Tesco and a night market (without much food). We dined in the coffeeshop (outside, in the basement). Modern hotel but most facilities were closed. We had the impression that the crowd was only in the hotel during daytime (conference?) since at other times it was very quiet.
The room looked great, the couch was too low to the ground to be practical. Opposite the hotel were deserted housingblocks with some small shops still open (7/11 etc)
8th January 2009 Alexandra Ballard | Inconveniently far from town centre with poor shuttle service. Some facilities not open at advertised times. Rooms adjacent to lift shafts are much affected by noise whenever lifts are in use. Otherwise clean and adequate.
5th March 2008 Dieter Rathmann | City hotel with usual comfort, large rooms with everything one needs, quiet, the floor with some stains, but since the room is used for the night only, it is a very good choice.
1st February 2008 Henk van Dijk | This is a very well organised hotel, friendly staff and large rooms. Breakfast buffet is above average. Minibar prices are very modest but the supermarket (Lotus Tesco) is conveniently accross the street. Too bad February is low season, which makes it less interesting to dine in the hotel restaurant where live music is played. Alternatively one can sit outside, next to the restaurant, where modern Thai and/or western music (live) is played while drinking a nice draught Singha or enjoy a good Thai meal. This hotel is worth recommending for a few days stay in the area of Nakhonsi or while en-route to the south.
16th January 2007 Alison Avery | Stayed 2 nights 2 adults plus 9 year old son. Very comfy bed. A lot of choice for breakfast. Good limousine service. Good sized pool. Would have liked kettle in room rather than flask of lukewarm water. Staff very pleasant, but not really geared up for advising re trains or how to get to various tourist attractions. Would stay again.
