The Hotel
Windsor Suites Bangkok is the first all-suites Hotel in the Asia Pacific
Region.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The elegant Windsor Suites in Bangkok features a total of 582 hotel
rooms & suites with its room area ranging from 30 sqm to 190 sqm. There
is one extravagant Presidential suite with top-of the line facilities
such as your own private Sauna room and Jacuzzi, and guest's own board
meeting room.
All rooms are deluxe suites of various sizes,
fully equipped with small pantry, refrigerator, mini bar, satellite
color TV, radio, hairdryer, private safe, IDD phone, and high speed
internet access, air-conditioning, sofa or sofa bed in living room,
extra telephone in bathroom, full sized bathtub, and adjustable massage
showers.
Diplomat Suites 1 Bedroom 40sqm one bedroom suite with a breathtaking
view over the city. The suite is decorated in warm colours with a separate
sitting area with work table and minibar. The bedroom is fitted with
a king size bed, TV with satellite channels and an ensuite bathroom
with bathtub.

Downtown, less than 50 meters from Sukhumvit main street in Soi 20,
100 meters to BTS Sky train's Asoke Station and subway station, close
to Benjasiri Public Park, Shopping Complex, 5 minutes drive to Queen
Sirikit National Convention Center. Distance to the Airport either Domestic
or International is a 25 km. Drive for approximately 30 minutes.

Location is good. Pretty near to BTS. Hotel wise, room smells of stale cigarettes, decor is old. Hot water in shower is not exactly hot, water pressure is too low.
Room safe wasn t working. Complained for the 3 nights I stayed there but nobody turn up to fix it even till the day I checked out.
Breakfast is normal 3 star standards. Nothing fantastic, nothing to shout about.
Seems pretty popular with the North Asians as they were the majority in the hotel.
Will try other hotels next time.

Actually rooms are real suites as one can e.g. watch TV in a sofa in one room without disturbing the wife in the bed room, and vice versa, great! + real 4* break fast and super staff all over the tower building.

The hotel is nice but I find it a bit too expensive. The breakfast buffet is huge, but still very very boring. Eggs are pre-made, and not one you can order as you like. The bread is only white, nothing a bit special. Many different dishes to choose from, but not something I consider breakfast. No impressed..!!!

Stort hotell avsett främst för affärsfolk. De har dress code vid t ex frukost. Gymmet helt ok, tror det egentligen skulle kosta 300THB/besök för att använda det, men jag smet in ändå. Hutlös avgift. Finns några restaurangen utanför, annars mest massageställen. Undvik pizzerian utanför, snordyr, 17% tillkommer. Lite mat, tradig lokal. Hotellet ligger nära skytrainstation och läget är väl ok, inte i shoppingområden dock. Slitet hotell.

The hotel is overall satisfactory. But few areas need improvement such as:
a) Providing enough food and adequate food choices in buffet breakfast.
b)These days providing kettle in rooms is a norm. We had to ask them to provide this in our room.
We met another hotel guest and they also encountered the same issue.

Eine preiswerte Möglichkeit in Bangkok zu übernachten. Zimmer sauber, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Frühstück geht es lebhaft zu, leider ist das Personal überfordert. Tische sind nicht aufgeräumt, Kaffe gab es über einen längeren Zeitraum gar nicht mehr.
Trotzdem: Das Hotel ist weiterzuempfehlen.

I frequently travel to Bangkok, and usually stay at Windsor Suites because it is conveniently located, has nice rooms, pleasant staff, and a decent price. I strongly recommend it.

Counselor Suite was comfortable and spacious enough to enjoy a relaxing few days, mostly in the room, at the end of a holiday. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and away from the sleaze of the Nana area. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel. The only minor negative - I shared a room with a non-smoker, so a comfortable and private outdoor smoking area would have been appreciated - had to smoke in a thoroughfare outside the front of the hotel.

A quite big hotel with very good location. I have visit Windsor a few times. The staff are very friendly and the service is always very good. The room starts to get little bit old but the room are clean and nice. The facilities are very good, the pool area on 14th floor is probably one of the best in Bangkok area. I really recommend the breakfast buffé. I will stay at windor again.

I stayed with my wife and daughter at Windsor for 7 days. We booked the family suite which is offered with 2 bedrooms and a separate living room and 2 bath rooms. We actually noticed that there was 1 bedroom with a separate bathroom and 1 bedroom which was split up in a kind of alcove and separated with a partition between alcove and living room and a kitchen corner. The living room had 2 seats only and no television. The bathroom for the alcove is a guest bathroom without shower and bathtub. One air condition could not be adjusted at all. Cold or switching off. Long complaining list handed to reception, but only 2 issues were solved. Very small and old fashion television in the bedrooms. Some lamps did not work. No desk lamp in the alcove. No mini bar price list. A can of cola costs 90 Baht. Too much dust inside the rooms for people with dust allergy. Be careful with using internet. 600 Baht per day. The breakfast is actually very good. A large buffet and a huge assortment. The room service can not be recommended. The meals were cold when delivered. The location is very good. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Only 10 minutes walk to the sky train. However, the overall impression was good and valuable for that price. We consider staying here again.

Our visit was NOT plesant!
New years eve-dinner was ruined when the staff didnt speak good english. We ate dinner at 11PM.
We were accused of doing burnmarks and cuts in the sofa, which were there before we arrived!
We really hate Windsor Suites, who made our visit in Bangkok an awful experience!

We have booked many times through www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com and previously had no problem at all. However this time we were not happy with the pricing system, before the price on the web site was the nett price to pay, this time the price was excluding tax and service charge, so when the final price came through it was some 400 baht more than we expected, especially as this is supposedly the low season. We did not have time to search other venues, maybe next time we will. Jitlada Makkunchorn & Michael Evans.
