31 Mars 2012 Tan Chor Ming | Hotel is at a good location near to the moat and the night bazaar.
Hotel space is large.
However the facility ios not functional.
- Hot water burns and cannot be controlled
- No safe in the room
- Only single card key for 2 person which is inconvenience
Otherwise the room is clean | 7.2/10 |
24 Fevrier 2012 Luke Newland | Nice staff, lovely reception area, and 2 free iced coffee s a day, rooms slighty dated ,but big and clean. Could have done with a bedside light.
Nice pool and gym was ok | 7.8/10 |
19 Fevrier 2012 Marius Peciulaitis | Was surprised by the luxurious spacious reception. Room was spacious as well, but not that luxurious although that was not an issue at all. Two A/Cs in the living room and in the bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy. Hotel is situated a bit off the city center but easy to reach by walk, never took a taxi through out our stay.
I would add brighter lights in the rooms and more hooks for the towels in the bathroom.
Worst thing was only breakfast there. Hard to believe but Thai dishes were worst I ever ate in Thailand. Had to take Intercontinental breakfast although I prefer Thai in general. Juice was made from powder...
Would stay in the hotel but without breakfast. | 9/10 |
15 Fevrier 2012 Ronald & Lynn Patterson | I am so disappointed in your hotel. We had booked for 2 different dates because of your location. I found out very fast that the front desk people cannot speak very good English. I should have cancelled the 2nd booking but since I could not communicate very well with the front staff I was afraid they would not have a clue what I was talking about. Our friends came to meet us from Chiang Rai, when we first arrived and they were going to check into your hotel and gave the hotel the information I sent them. They went to the hotel and was told there was no one by our name so they decided to stay some place else. I just happened to call them when we arrived and they were at another hotel since the Maninarakorn Hotel said there was no information about us checking in they were upset since they made the trip and was told we were not at your hotel. I m glad we got the nightmare out of the way. Your room staff was very nice but again no English spoken. I feel that being in the service (hotel) industry it should be very important that people can speak to your guests without as many problems that we experienced, after all English is a universal language. By the way please update your bathrooms, why do they have black mold in the tiles in the bathrooms and are not cleaned so the tile looks clean for your guest? The food was terrible for breakfast and could not even communicate to the staff how bad things were handled such as trying to take our plates before we were done eating our meal. What s Up With the Hotel.
We will never come back and if I have my way I would like a refund. You have our information at this point and would like to be refunded our money. | 4.6/10 |
1er Fevrier 2012 Napatsakorn Tanapornsrimontri | the hotel is chinese decoration and the room i booked is not in the main building. The room is very long with 3 seperated sections, living room, bath room and bed room. The only problem that i had to upgrade the room to the main building is the bed. It s a very old wooden bed that makes a very ugly noise every time you move on the bed. i travel alone so it s so annoying that a 1100 THB/ night room is worth for. | 4.4/10 |
28 Janvier 2012 Jo-Anne Smith | Friendly staff, clean hotel, not mind-blowing or anything but ideal for a couple of nights in town | 5.4/10 |
19 Decembre 2011 Kelsey Darrell Worthy | This is still a great hotel. The hotel is starting to show wear due to the high occupancy rates but is still one of the best values around. | 9/10 |
19 Novembre 2011 Tsuyoshi Teitei | Nice Hotel and attentive staff. Free WiFi in the room was also very useful to myself. | 6.8/10 |
5 Octobre 2011 Roderick Forrey | Superb hotel with excellent staff and amenities. Would stay there again and often. Highly recommended at reasonable pricing. | 10/10 |
9 Mai 2011 Peter Aitken | Great hotel .Great Staff. Alway try to stay at this hotel if I visit Chiang Mai . | 8/10 |
15 Avril 2011 Roland Segers | The hotel is fantastic for his price.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is very clean and pleasant place to stay. The breakfast is almost same of a 5-star hotel.
The rooms are very clean and well-decorated. Bathroom (shower)is perfect and clean.
Even the staff who clean the rooms they are super friendly and polite. There are 3 computers available near the lobby, wifi internet for free!
Will come back for sure.
Roland Segers. | 9.4/10 |
4 Mars 2011 Per-Erik Olsen | A plaesent stay in a very good hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful. | 7.6/10 |
14 Fevrier 2011 Brian Møller | stayed in the B-wing (serviced apartments)
NO ELEVATOR, narrow and steep staircase.
i guess ok value for money but i am not sure i would stay in the B-wing in the future. | 7/10 |
12 Janvier 2011 Shaun Mcguckian | The Maninarakorn is a new kid on the block in the Chang Mai hotel scene, but a good one. The central hotel is supplemented by two wings - where we stayed. The central block is the bells and whistles, all tidy, shiny and comfortable and where to go for breakfast and the pool/steam room. We didn t use the pool while their. It s a thin little thing, perfect for a quick dip but nothing more. You have to turn the steam room and sauna on for 20 minutes if you want to use them, as the area isn t manned at all.
Breakfasts were ample enough, but the piece de resistance was the rooms. Of all the places we stayed during a three week holiday around Thailand, this hotel had the best rooms. Loads of space, separate bathroom and even had a lounge to relax in. | 7.8/10 |
24 Novembre 2010 Anne Zucker | first we had a room in the wing building, but changed into hotel building after one night...room there was much better, no umbrellas at the pool
| 6/10 |
6 Novembre 2010 Ibrahim Hassan | The best hotel you can stay in Chiang-Mai every thing was perfect fast service and good management keep on going............ Ur the best in every thing.
| 10/10 |
1er Novembre 2010 Peter Rhoderick Aitken | Nice clean roon great sevice . Helppful staff . My first choice for chiang mai every time . SZtayed in main deluxs room. will come bak here again (SOON I Hope) ! | 9.6/10 |
17 Octobre 2010 Marietta&Frank | This was our second stay at Maninarakorn. Although there are some points we are not so glad about, we still would recommend this hotel. It is in a good condition (built only a few years ago), people at the reception speak good English, breakfast is brilliant. The old town as well as the Saturday market are in walking distance.
Points, we are not glad about: 1) We booked a Deluxe Room and got an Superior (which also is not bad, but there are - despite of the price - these little differences ), 2) The hotel offers an shuttle to the airport ... which is more expensive than a taxi and much more expensive than a ordered Songthow (do not know the right writing) | 7.4/10 |
1er Octobre 2010 ISMAIL BIN MANSOR | My first time visit Chiangmai and my flight landed at 9.50AM and reach the hotel at 10.15AM, really impress me that they allow me to check-in even though its truly very early and myself and my wife could have some rest before we start explore ourself. The room is nice and clean, the check in time was fast too. The breakfast was provided however the variety was pretty few, but still consider ok. The only things is my room 510, the air-cond sounds was a bit loud and could make you awake at the middle of the night. Overall this hotel is good value for your money and having good location as well. | 7.6/10 |
22 Septembre 2010 Sulaiman Rohan | This hotel is exactly 13 minutes from the airport on a Sunday morning.
Fantastic location and waling distance from everything.
Room quality was pretty good and sparkling clean.
Shower worked great too.
Staff was really very good and efficient.
I would highly recommend this place. | 8/10 |
