23 Aout 2010 Pozza Emiliano | Fantastic reception in this great hotel. Pity for the room which was not big for 3 persons. The hotel is worth another visit. | 9/10 |
18 Mai 2009 Kaj Skibelund | We had high expectations to Tamarind Village, it is very expensive, however, it is a hotel with only a reception, a swimmingpool, a small giftshop, one restaurant where you also have breakfast. When this is said, then the hospitality is great, but if you, due whetherconditions are unable to go outside, there is very little to do. I think the hotel is not worth the money we spend to stay there (we booked through www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com)
4 Mai 2009 MAHESHKUMAR BHANDERI | Enjoyed the stay at the Tamarind very much. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Best of all the ambience takes you out of the urban area and delivers you to a relaxed countryside surroundings. Will definitely stay at the Tamarind in the near future.
20 Decembre 2008 Juan M. Lopez-Nadal | We had a most pleasant stay. The hotel is beautiful, centrally located, quiet and very comfortable. Staff are most kind and helpful. Therefore I am pleased to recommend the Tamarind Village Hotel in Chiang Mai .
24 Aout 2008 Bertoli Marco | very good and relaxing
7 Juillet 2008 R.Rijnja | What a great hotel, what a fantastic service. Apart from the nice setting and style, it s the little things that made it so nice; the welcome with drinks by the MD, the life musician every afternoon at the pool, that constant smile of everyone. Great to relax after we visited crazy Bangkok.
1er Juin 2008 RIES Roger | Tamarind Village is located right in the middle of the ancient city. 5 minutes walk from the Night Bazaar, lots of food around the area. You will not believe what you see when you enter Tamarind Village. Its beautiful, and full of green, flowers and the big Tamarind tree in the middle of the garden. The rooms are very nice with a beautifull decoration and everything you need.
The breakfast buffet is excelent and the food is from a very good quality.
A la carte menus are the same than in a 3 star Michelin restaurant from quality and presentation.
Next time I stay again on this place.
29 Fevrier 2008 Michael JOross | I had a good experience at the TAMARIND VILLGE in CHING MIA . The staff was very attentive to our needs and made us very welcome at the hotel and the restaurant. The grounds and the rooms are well keep up .I will go back again and i well recommend to others. The manager was very attentive to her guest and was available during the day and the evenings hrs.
22 Fevrier 2008 Frazer Crombie | Tamarind Village was in the heart of the old city but peacful and shielded from all traffic noise. A lot of effort has been made to provide traditional but comfortable accomodation. The experience was let down a bit by so so service. Breakfast was particularly poor, with an expectation that guests were to microwave soften yesterday s rock hard croissants, and a dinning location next to the pool resulting in late breakfasters in uneasy standoff with early bathers in an ambience that does nt quite work out. Overall, a fair value hotel and would stay again if rushing to book, but with time to search I would be curious to try out other accomodations in Chiang Mai.
20 Fevrier 2008 robert beavis | our room was the Lanna deluxe which was designed beautifully with walk in shower. the only problem here was waiting for the warm water to arrive. the hotel has a nice pool and a few beds to relax on. the staff were friendly & helpful. breakfast carried a good range of foods to suit most.overall a very nice place to stay. a bit further from the night market than they suggest.
Excellente adresse, a recommander...
11 Fevrier 2008 Simon Beloe | Excellent location in old town. Service exemplary. Lovely pool and delicious food but all on the pricey side. You get what you pay for!
24 Octobre 2007 Renate Woerndl | Friendly place. Rooms o.k. Tours offered too expensive.
20 Octobre 2007 Sarah | We absolutely loved this hotel. The service is amazing because everybody is so friendly and kind. The best parts must have been breakfasting next to the swimming pool in the morning, the swimming pool itself and the hotel s central location. To step out of the hotel and straight into the market was brilliant, especially when all the toursists were lining up to have their photo taken outside of Tamarind Village!
14 Octobre 2007 Damien Vanslambrouck | Beautiful hotel, great room, even better breakfast. Highly recommended!!!
2 Octobre 2007 Maya | Beautiful boutique hotel which is a oase in the old city center of Chang Mai. Make sure you get one of the renovated rooms though, which are more spacious, clean and dry! Friendly staff. Overall a good choice and worth the money. Would go back there again!
18 Septembre 2007 Yvan J Huertamoreno | Probably one of the better hotels in Chiang Mai, kind of quiet for a young guy like me but def recommended for honeymooners and couples.
13 Septembre 2007 Peter Moran | I checked in after a long flight from New York and was greeted by the most wonderful staff....this beautiful hotel has a boutique feel about it....the pool is relaxing and my room was just like staying at the Four Seasons....breakfast was served in a beautiful room with the omlete man cooking away poolside. I loved the tranquility, peacefullness and quiet after a day of activity in Chaing Mai......I would go back in a minute....you will not be dissapointed at all if you stay here !!!!!!!!!!!
ps...Tam one of the waiters in the dining room was wonderful each morning....knowing that I needed extra butter on my waffles !!!!!!!
5 Septembre 2007 Sue D. Orvik | Tamarind Village is a beautiful oasis in the old, walled city area of Chaing Mai. From the moment you turn into its bamboo lined driveway, the calm and graciousness of this lovely hotel will envelop you. We recommend it VERY HIGHLY. Breakfast, included in the room cost, was superb, the staff was incredibly helpful and over-all it was a perfect place for us to stay. We look forward to returning there as soon as possible!
