Baan Deva Montra is an intimate boutique resort set

Our house specialties offer
a complete meal unto itself; from hors d'oeuvres to desserts, with a

dry cleaning and a full laundry service.
Tours With some notice we can arrange sightseeing
tours such as elephant riding, bamboo rafting, temple tours, visiting
hill tribe villages, handicraft shopping as well as trekking around
Chiang Mai or nearby northern provinces.
Cooking Class Baan Deva Montra offers home-style,
hands-on cooking courses (demonstration method also available) taught
by Our chef's who will teach you the ins and outs of cooking Asian cuisine
and share with you her granny's well kept secret recipe for preparing
wonderfully tasting Thai and Asian dishes.
Internet access is available at Front Office from
7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and a secretarial assistant can be provided with
notice.
Fishing is a popular sport in Thailand and not more
than a couple of hundred metres from Baan Deva Montra is a lake where
local villagers often go to fish.
A traditional northern Thai village temple is also
within walking distance of Baan Deva Montra.
Star Gazing Being so far from the bright lights
of the city, we are blessed by most impressively starry skies. Baan
Deva Montra has therefore created a star gazing platform so that guests
can enjoy the night views of the resort as well as the day views.
Cultural excursions to the nearby village will give

The hotel is a little bit outside the city, we have a car, so it s no problem for us, beautiful garden, wonderful place to relax, this is our third time there and I would go back again. You are in the middle of nature, but not in the jungle!!

the Baan Dewa is a bit hard to find but then when u get there its paradise in a very nice room with ur own pool
We loved every sec of it and will be back there again.
At the price we got thru this website it is a great bargain.
1 note; the bed is a little hard and would be great with a softer matrass
nice views at breakfast too.

Our second time there, great place, peaceful and quiet, clean, will go again, however, bad management, don t expect to get what you request in reservation, even if confirmed by e-mail directly by the hotel.

A nie quiet place to relax away from the streets of Chiang Mai. Access to the city and airport is expensive by taxi, better to have a hire car. No alternative to eating in the restaurant which is quite nice but obviously more limited and expensive than in town.

The hotel was wonderful! Since it was the low season, they upgraded us to a pool villa for free. The room was beautiful and clean and the outdoor bathtub, pool and sala were a true getaway. The food was also impressive, as the chef has his own creations.

The resort was very quiet. We never really saw anyone else stay there, even when we went to dinner. If you are looking for somewhere private then this is the place for you. The Resort Manager and the rest of his team were great. Very very helpful. We ll definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful place. Very close to the city, about 10 to 15 minutes, but the place seems to be in the middle of nowhere, very quiet and peaceful. We stayed at the 2-bedroom garden cottage which was just great and suited us perfectly, two bedrooms and nice size living room with a little kitchen in between plus two very large bathrooms, outside seating area, excellent for a family with little children. The kids enjoyed the garden a lot, played ball, just liked to run around. I also had a look at the executive pool villas which are absolutely beautiful, but would not recommend that with small children because you have two separate villas which I find a bit tricky a nighttime and you only get a wonderful outside seating area around the pool, but no indoor living room area. Bathrooms are outrageous. Also looked at the family pool villas , but definitely would not recommend the family pool villa for a family with small children, it s built stilts and the stairs up there is not child-friendly at all, you don t have the living room area indoor, only outside and no kitchen at all. But it s a great place, lovely rooms, wonderful garden, friendly staff, good food, nothing to complain about, just be careful with your choice if you have little children. We will definitely go back there again, but would always go for the garden cottage.

Lovely, charming place. our 10 year old daugter enjoyed having her own place with private garden and pool in Thailand.Welcome retreat after Bangkog and excursions to the busy streets of chiang Mai.So peaceful and friendly!
