17 Avril 2010 Partha Pratim Bhattacharyya | We went there en-route to Bangkok from our holiday in Mae Hong Son. The resort should not advertise Pets welcome as they charged an additional 500 Baht for my pet dog. Very average room, with a lot of ants on the bed. The staff pretended not to understand when we asked them about the ant problem. | 5.2/10 |
19 Decembre 2009 Alfred | Lovely quiet resort. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. | 9.2/10 |
31 Decembre 2008 khun Duanphen Lorethaworn | Surrounding is great and fantastic.
Breakfast should be approved. If the hotel have less customer, the breakfast should not be buffet but a la carte or in set in stead.
Room condition is good but the bath room seemed to have bad smell out all the time.
9 Octobre 2008 Jarod Davis | The hotel was awesome! We went during october, and the entire resort was very clean and well taken care of. the service of the staff was the best we had ever seen in Thailand, and it was very relaxing. The natural beauty of the place was incredible. We definitely plan to go back in the future. It is a bit far Chiang Mai, but that is what makes it so calm and relaxing. We rented a car, and we were able to go and come as we pleased.
20 Janvier 2008 Andrew Philip Michaels | The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. This is a nice comfortable hotel with most friendly and helpful staff. It was nearer the main road than we expected but the traffic couldn t be heard from the rooms, which are quite unique and of a good standard. The gardens are pleasant and the atmosphere is one of peace and quiet. The food on offer is fine, although there is little to find as an alternative within walking distance. For those looking for an out of town location, close to all the things people want to see and do in the region (e.g. Doi Interon and Chang Camp etc), then for the price Kaomailanna is hard to beat.
4 Octobre 2007 michael sharp | This is an ideal getaway if you re looking for something truly peaceful, so perhaps not quite suitable for children. But in all other ways I cannot recommend this resort enough. The setting is magnificent, the grounds have been tended with great care. The staff are extremely friendly and polite and the food is not only reasonably priced, it s absolutely delicious too.
Not having your own transport could make this a difficult choice but still a managable one. All in all a very memorable experience.
31 Janvier 2007 Keith Pyke | These old tobacco barns provide most unusual accommodation. Really different from anything else we stayed in. A quiet hide-away that s not for ravers. Huge bed in a good size room. Quirky old furniture and nice decor. The ground floor units must be pretty dark though because of the luxuriant greenery surrounding each barn.
In early February it was chilly in the evenings and at breakfast - staff were wearing scarves and thick jackets. But lovely and warm after 10am. We had the huge pool to ourselves for three days. Just pick up the poolside phone and order food and drink - Bliss! Great cocktails. A wonderfully atmospheric and cheap local Saturday market at San Pa Tong. Borrow the bikes and cycle there.
