28 Janvier 2012 Naichien saechao | | 10/10 |
15 Janvier 2012 KUNC | Very pleasant stay. The hotel is of good
quality - if a little overpriced for
Chiang Rai (would be a reasonable deal
if in Bangkok). | 9/10 |
1er Janvier 2012 Stefan Rupp | perfect location, nearly by the night bazar
breakfast taste really well with a great choice | 9.6/10 |
28 Decembre 2011 Phua Siew Leng Jeslyn | Consider three star hotel. | 5.2/10 |
23 Decembre 2011 Piendibene Marco | Very near to bus stations and night market... Lovely Hotel and kind service | 9/10 |
22 Juin 2011 Anita McAlister | An older hotel, but right in the center of town. Hotel under renovation. Enjoyed the stay. | 8/10 |
3 Janvier 2011 Fredric L Prager | The hotel decor and furnishings are a bit dated but are kept up well by the fantastic staff. The breakfast buffet was adequate but many items seemed to run out during the last 1/2 hour and were not refilled. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was in pretty bad shape. A recent A/C leak had left holes in the ceiling and mold and mildew had built up around that area. The shower head was very dirty and the toilet didn t flush properly. The location, near the Night Market, is perfect and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Overall a most pleasant experience. | 7/10 |
14 Decembre 2010 Phil Andrews | Good location, although a touch pricey | 7.4/10 |
3 Novembre 2010 GEOFFREY TYE | Too many staff doing nothing in dining room and reception. Reception staff doing nothing, but leave you standing there waiting to check in. A huge number of dining room staff and they are almost embarrassed at the fact that they have nothing to do. Try to look busy shuffling plates, and stacking and restacking crockery. | 5.6/10 |
12 Octobre 2010 Marietta&Frank | This was our first stay at the Wangcome Hotel and we would recommend it. We booked a Grand Deluxe (because of the idea to give our holiday - after a long flight - a special beginning) and got a wonderful room with two (!) bathrooms. One can see that the hotel is a bit older, but it is clean. Although the Thai dishes were nearly cold (what seems to be common at hotel-breaktfast buffets), breakfast was really good and Thai coffee is offered (which we also recommend). The (old) bus terminal (take care, in the meanwhile there are two bus terminals!), the night market as well as other points of interest are in walking distance. | 8.8/10 |
28 Mai 2010 ALASTAIR KINSEY | Had a deluxe room and was not disappointed. Service was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Last time stayed at the Wiang Hotel but my room and price was better here. | 8.6/10 |
7 Avril 2010 Robert Richstone | perfect location if you want to be near the night market. | 7.6/10 |
27 Mars 2010 Cornelis van Beugen | Clean and good (delux) room. Perfect location in central Chang Rai. Close to busstation, nightmarket and for the ones that like it, middle in the (small) nightlife | 8.2/10 |
19 Mars 2010 Stephen Chaplin | Very old, nice staff but not the free return to the airport as promised in the booking. | 4.8/10 |
13 Mars 2010 BOUILLE JEAN CLAUDE | we are supereiur room;;;;;agreable, clean, old hotel but good hotel and so nice location | 8.6/10 |
28 Fevrier 2010 Poh Yong Hwa | Nice hotel, front desk receptionists were friendly... we were briffed in detail regarding the facilities in the rooms | 8/10 |
25 Fevrier 2010 Kevin Francis Twomey | A very enjoyable and centrally located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast | 8.6/10 |
8 Fevrier 2010 ZETHELIUS NILS RAGNAR | I came in the evening the 5th February
to the hotel.I became very surprised
that nobody knew about the e-mail I had
sent the 25th January, asking for help
with sightseeing.
In the morning 0600 6th Feruary I met a very nice man in the reception who
helped me to arange my sightseeing with
a very good guide sa.lahu.As I told the
man in the reception You saved my live
I wanted to have cheese and yoghurt to my breakfest. It was not possible.I had
to go outside the hotel to get it.
I missed a safety box in the room
Yors faitfully
