Brian Evans | The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was exactly what we wanted - near the beach and the markets. The breakfast had few choices but it is a buffet, and the bathroom could use an upgrade but it functions as it should. | 7.8/10 |

Patricia Carson | We had a very pleasant stay, the room was clean and comfortable, all of the staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was very good in nice surroundings. The hotel is in a very good central position, only a short walk to the beach in one direction and the night market and shops in the other. There are numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, we particularly enjoyed the food at El Murphy s, a short walk away, and the rock band there is excellent. The only downside was the pool, there was no one on duty at the pool bar and we had to phone for pool towels each time which took a few minutes to arrive. | 9.2/10 |

David Brackley & Miss Phattharaporn Hunt | Old hotel but good quality with very pleasant interiors, front desk. Room was large, requested double bed but got 2 singles put together, staff did apply sheets as if a double bed so acceptable. Shower tap was broken but was fixed immediately so again acceptable. Bed comfortable and no noise as on high floor. Very good location especially as we were in Hua Hin for first time. Easy access to central beach, bars, restaurants without need for transport. Breakfast was bland but again acceptable as included in price. Good car parking for our car and also for motorbikes. Very pleasant staff and overall a good choice for medium range style hotel. Orion Huang | This is my second stay at this hotel due to it s supreme location and value for money rate. The room is not very modern but cozy enough for the short beach vacation and the pool is quite nice as well. The location is the best part but at night it could be a bit noisy due to the bars opposite to the room. However, for budget traveling, this is a nice choice anyhow. | 7.6/10 |

Thomas Dixon | I have stayed there twice now and have found it good value for money.They are getting rid of the carpet and replacing with tiles which is much better.Bathroom needs to be upgraded and a night safe in the room would be better than at the front desk.Have had no problems and is right in the middle of the action. | 7/10 |

Gary Sibley | City Beach Hotel: Breakfast was awful and cold. You are much better off going around the corner to McDonalds. Room was nice but TV and bathroom were dated. Staff not very smiley. Lobby full of mosquitos. Good location though. | 5.8/10 |

Thomas | Room (carpet and air-corn)has very bad smell and some staff help to change another room of our request but some staff abusive visitor and did not help even there has many free room during low season. The breakfast is very very normal and not same level as hotel star rating. There has no spray for toilet. The location is good but there has not get relaxation and only get more stressful during stay in hotel. The hotel is need to Big renovate especially room quality. I esure do not stay in this hotel again until there has good impression. | 4.2/10 |

Darren Morrell | The hotel is very old and needs a refurb. Old style furniture in room,I expect to pay about 1000 baht a night in Thailand for a room like this.Carpets are dirty and smell bad although they are taking them out at the moment. Bjarne Danielsen | This was my 11 visit to Hua Hin and my 10th stay a City beach. The location is very central with short dictance to the resturants and Beach. The personell are very Good. The breakfast buffe is OK. The rooms Condition get worse from year to and the Rooms and corridors need a main upgrade. During the last 10 years it have not been done any works on the rooms and it is no ready for a main upgrade. | 6.6/10 |
