X2 Kui Buri (pronounced "cross to") is Thailand's first
chain of design resorts and hotels.
It caters to a cosmopolitan group of creative and stylish guests
that enjoy living life and want a first class, private resort without
the formal environment of traditional luxury hotels.
For those guests that want something different, the resort allows
them to cross to (X2) a whole new dimension of luxury by design, and
experience life as it should be.
The general area is underdeveloped and peaceful with the only communities
being local fishing villages. The resort is located on virgin beachfront
land covering over 4 acres (12 Rai). The 23 semi private villas each
have their own terrace, garden and most with private pools.
The existing landscape of large, well developed trees has been carefully
preserved, and provides a unique atmosphere punctuated by large open
spaces and unique natural horticulture.

Activities Although the main activity at
X2 resorts is simple relaxation, we do offer a number of interesting
activities for those that want to do a little more than just chill.
Seminar Rooms The resort has several alternative
facilities available for small groups. The Owner's Villa is suitable
for groups of senior executives from 4 to 8 people. Larger seminars
can use areas of the restaurant or roof terraces for up to 30 or
more people.

Mountain bike exploring Whether on the beach
or the tracks through local villages, the relatively underdeveloped
locale of the resort provides an interesting adventure in culture
exploration.
Scuba and snorkeling Further south of the resort
are several good diving spots. Day trips are organized with local
diving companies, and provide an interesting and enjoyable day out
for those that love the water.
Yoga Offered as part of the Spa facility, morning
and afternoon Yoga is arranged for guests. Typically conducted on
the roof terrace overlooking the gulf, it is great way to start
and end the day.
Golf There are a number of both local and international
class golf courses in the area. Games and coaching can be arranged
at the request of guests.
Fishing Not the usual activity of most resorts,
but X2 Kui Buri is located close to a local fishing village. The
fisherman offer to take guests out for an authentic evening of squid
fishing the Thai way. Definitely something to write home about.

time and interest of guests, but the following are a few which always

Prachuap Night Market :Located along the causeway at
Prachuap Kirichan, this market is very much a local affair. -- Sam Roi Yod National Park :
Translated as the park of 300 mountains, is an interesting day tour.
The parks are located along the gulf, north of the resort and feature
rustic camping resorts, monkey villages, temples and impressive
national forests. -- Huay Yang
Waterfall : Is one of the main waterfall park attraction
in the Prachuap area. The 161 square kilometers of national park
is steeply mountainous along Thai - Myanmar border on Tanao Sri
range which is 200 to 800 meters high above sea level. It is the
source of headwaters as well as watershed of many river streams.

X2 Kui Buri is located on the gulf of Thailand, approximately 3 hours
drive from Bangkok, just past the popular resort towns of Hua Hin and
Pranburi.
Transportation Shuttle transport
is available from all airports. Depending on group size either limousines,
cars or vans are utilized. Secure parking is available at the resort.
From the moment we arrive at the hotel, we were greeted by a smiling face of the receptionist named Nuy. She is lovely and helpful. As the hotel location is isolated, they should have consider providing shuttle service to the town (about 10-12 km away).
Menu selection is very limited. During the duration of our stays, we have the whole main pool to ourselves. Is a great place for couples who want peace and quiet. The staffs are very friendly, and we were very pleased with one of the nights when we rented the hotel car service to town for dinner, they provided the driver who is in fact the Hotel HR Manager Joe. He was very helpful and brought us to a nice place by the seafront for dinner, near the air force base. We really enjoyed the food and price is reasonable.
Our only complaints are too many mosquitoes and the hotel should do regular fogging.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at X2 and we will definitely be back again. Hope to see the friendly faces again!!

The hotel is simply fantastic. Admittedly, it is a little further away from the usual hotspots of Hua Hin and Cha Am but if you do make the trip there, I promise you that you would not be disappointed.
I chose this hotel for my honeymoon and I m very pleased. The room is excellent and the rock/stone wall design is the first I ve seen in a hotel room. Most hotels would have great designs in public areas but for X2, most of the intricate details have been fully thought out and presented in your own room. Get the Deluxe pool villa because it is amazing to wake up to sounds of water lapping in your pool.
Also, breakfast/lunch/dinner is great because you get to enjoy the seaview and pig-out on world class cuisine.
To get there, take the minivan from Century Mall (near Victory Monument) and it is about THB250 per person.
