Markus Rosenberger | Ein tolles und gepflegtes Resort mit Flair. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Die Lage direkt am River Kwai ist sehr schön und ruhig - etwas außerhalb der Stadt.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und lecker. Nettes Personal rundet das tolle Gesamtbild des Resorts ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder. | 9/10 |

Peder Pagh | It was a very nice Hotel with really fantastic surroundings and nice rooms, however the beds were too hard for our taste and the waiting time in the restaurant by the river was much too long. | 8.6/10 |

Mr. Ketil Bentzen | Accompanied by family members I spent one night at the Royal Riverkwai. We were all impressed by the location in beautiful surroundings, the well kept garden, the comfortable rooms and the good service. Would have loved having more time available. Highly recommended. | 9.6/10 |

Rafał Sobolewski | Advantages:
- very nice pool placed in the garden
- quiet location where you can relax
- lovely garden with good design concept
- tasty breakfast with wide scope of food to choose
Disadvantages:
- most of guest are from Thailand, hotel staff has a poor English
- resort is located about 8 km from the city
- the hotel can arrange free taxi to the city only twice a day at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m.
- rooms need a little bit of refreshment (painting, bathroom). No big problem but the price for the room is quite high. | 7/10 |

Alex Gitlits | This is our second time at this resort. It s been 3 years. The resort still offers very good value for money. Good location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The rooms are nice and clean and free WiFi connection in every room. The hot water pressure is low sometimes during peak times. Will definitely return. | 8/10 |

SIRIPEN PHOJOEAN | บรรยากาศดี อาหารเช้าอร่อย นมสดเด็ก ๆ ชอบมาก แต่ช่วงไปโรงแรมกำลังก่อสร้างริมเขื่อน จึงนั่งเล่นริมน้ำไม่ได้ ส่วนห้องที่จองไว้แจ้งกับเจ้าหน้าที่ตอนจองในระบบบอกว่าเป็นเตียงใหญ่ 1 เตียง เตียงเสริม 1 เตียงเพื่อนอนกับเด็กเล็กได้ แต่กลับจัดแยกเป็นเตียงเล็ก 2 เตียงเตียงเสริม 1 เตียง ห้องน้ำอ่างล้างหน้าก๊อกน้ำกับอ่างน้ำสร้างไว้ผิดเวลาใช้น้ำหกเปี๊ยกเสื้อผ้าหมด ไปถึงแอร์ไม่เย็น ก็ต้องออกไปจากห้องให้เติมน้ำยาแอร์ ไม่ค่อยประทับใจทริปนี้เท่าไร แต่เจ้าหน้าที่ทุกคนดีค่ะ. | 6.4/10 |

Mr Williams | We stayed for 6 nights and wanted somewhere quiet to relax. Its what we got. The staff are fantastic, everywhere was very clean and the gardens are wonderful. The pool is like a bath and never busy.
Only small niggle was not too much hot water in the room. Its an electric shower type heater sharing 2 or 4 rooms. With the heat outside you want a cool shower anyway!! | 9/10 |

The only negative thing i can say are:
- very bad smelling (we were on the room 109), in the room and outside

Yupaporn Khamon | Our group can say very nice hotel rice of nature,big swimming pool easy for visit surrounding. Kanchanaburi most of area are hot but this hotel have many trees and fresh air you never feel that. Staff were helpful and kind. | 10/10 |

Ann Rowley | Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the organisation of this booking. I had booked two double rooms with www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com, however when the confirmation email was sent to the hotel it stated (2 double/twin rooms) which the hotel took to mean that we wanted a double and a twin. When we informed the hotel that this was not what we had booked, they proceeded to argue with us and tell us that we had booked the wrong thing and then blamed the website. The management were very rude and unaccommodating. A shame for such a beautiful resort.
Upon leaving the management again embarrassed themselves by accusing my partner and I of breaking the seal on a bottle of water in the minibar and then replacing it. Quite outrageous.
The staff and the food at the resort were lovely and it was such a shame that bad management took away from this. | 6/10 |

Cuttelle | We found the staff very helpful, and although the rooms and bathrooms were old needing a clean and coat of paint, we had plenty of hot water and the beds were good. However, what did concern us was the following, we were allocated rooms 435 and 436, almost next to the fire excape, which was padlocked from the inside, and no way out. Although you always hope that it would never be used, the hotel is old and you never know what can happen, this issue has to be addressed, if we are to return to this hotel. | 5.6/10 |

James Bordycott | A little problem checking in - we had made the reservation on line enroute and were not able to print the www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com online voucher - this seemed a problem to our front desk person - we felt like we had to argue that we had a reservation - until management were called - not a good first impression! This looks like an fine older property but has been kept up well - and they offer excellent pricing - can be noisy if a big group is there when you are there - as we were - since the meeting/dance rooms are close to the rooms - unlike many resorts here there was no security at the gate | 6/10 |
