14 Avril 2011 Moshe Vidal | I can t understand how do they sell the hotel as 4 stars . the category should be no more then 2 stars . the rooms are old and not clean . the bathroom antic . the aircon was noising like tracktor . the location far away from the city in noware. oh yes iforgot , the gardens are very nice . it was my 15 time in thailand and it was the worst hotel i have ever staid . | 2.4/10 |
12 Avril 2011 Iain Huxley | As a family with 2 small children we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. I dont want to say too much as the hotel may become too popular. Only criticism was that a bottle of Heineken at 190 Baht was too much!

24 Fevrier 2011 Anthony Scragg | This is the third time I have stayed at the Felix and the rooms, service and staff have been excellent and I will continue to stay there when I visit Kanchanaburi.
One service they could add which would be a great convenience for guests would be to have a ferry service available accross the river from the Hotel which would take you directly into the main area of the River Kwai attraction. | 8.8/10 |
3 Janvier 2011 Shutima Geerts | the hotel s room is a little old need to be renovated on the floor and the shower need to change because there is little few drop come out,the terrace is old on the third floor cannot sit outside to enjoy the view. But the garden is very very nice, the swimming pool is great, breakfast is very good. Don t know what to say just need a little renovate will be better for this type of hotel. | 7/10 |
4 Decembre 2010 Jorgen Normark | Wonderful hotel sourrounding a palm garden. Well designed so all rooms have a superb view from the terrace or balcony. | 9/10 |
27 Juin 2010 Robert Weir | This is my wife and I s fourth stay.We love the tranquillity, layout of the Felix & location. Would reccomend to anyone. | 9.6/10 |
24 Mai 2010 Raymond Martin Pothecary | Enjoyed the stay but the hotel needs some upgrading and looks a bit tired in places. Restaurant/buffet was good and location right by River Kwai Bridge (5 minute walk) | 8/10 |
19 Avril 2010 Mark Riggall | The room itself was nice enough if a little tired as is the rest of the Hotel. The Sonkran boat cruise was an hour too long at 2 1/2hrs and was very hot and sweaty.
The main thing to let this pplace down was the Spa, if it can called that. The facilities were a disgrace for a hotel of this size and stature and the service was a joke. The lady was on her phone during the massage and kept leaving the room to talk to her friend. If you want a 5 star stay in Kanchanaburi DONT stay here as i only discovered whilst i was there there is a Beuatiful new hotel Dheva Mantra where id be staying if returned located just up the road. | 6.6/10 |
8 Avril 2010 Michel VINCENT | It could be a good idea to renew the pillows because of the hairsmell in most of them. | 8.8/10 |
21 Mars 2010 Finn Vaaben | Unfortunately me and my family only had one night at Felix. We had a very nice time and would like to come back another time.
I know it may seem toom uch to rate you perfect in all areas, but that is what I feel. | 10/10 |
17 Mars 2010 Robert Baillie | Great swimming pools and good views of the river. | 8/10 |
29 Janvier 2010 Richard Senior | Large, clean and friendly resort next to river Kwai. Close to Kanchanaburi town (If you don t mind the treacherous walk over the rail bridge) Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and large but with some niggles (Noisy / broken AC) Breakfast - OK. Buffet dinner - poor. Facilites - good. | 8.6/10 |

14 Janvier 2010 Mark Pugh | great!our rooms were wonderfull | 7.2/10 |
4 Janvier 2010 Sue Renkin | The room balcony was extreemly dirty and almost unusable. The pathways and stairs were also grubby and needed maintenance. The rooms themselves were ok, but the bathroom was below par. Room service was very slow. No coffee making facilities in the room. The pool area was good and the grounds were generally impressive. | 6/10 |
17 Novembre 2009 JEAN GAILLARDON | Very important structure of several small 2 storey building nestled in beautiful gardens with 2 swimming pools. Our deluxe room was facing the River Kwai which was a very great moment at Sunset! Chinese restaurant serves a real Chinese food with an excellent Peking Duke and the ambiance in the bar at night was a great moment thanks to the live band. The buffet breakfast is huge and excellent. Nothing to say about staff, most of them English speaking, they do their job in a correct way. The main advantage of this hotel is that it is located at a walkind distance from the famous bridge. | 10/10 |
25 Octobre 2009 Dr Neil Peach | Efficient service right from the very beginning. All staff were exceptional in professionalism. Surrounds were so beautiful and all very relaxing. Buffet breakfast very adequate. Room overlooking River Kwai very adequate. Swimming pools refreshing! Very convenient location for easy walk across bridge. | 8.8/10 |
25 Octobre 2009 Susan Jane Gordon | Hotel is in a lovely location and the gardens are wonderful, our room overlooked the river. The breakfast was ordinary but for what we paid it was not bad.The staff were very helpful it was a shame that the hotel was not busier.Tour desk (we booked a trip on the train and elephant ride, waterfall and Hell Fire Pass - our guide nickname X was excellent and also the driver)
TV s in the restaurant - not the best location the hotel would be better off investing in having UBC in guest rooms instead! | 7.4/10 |
13 Octobre 2009 Paulhorst Kann | We have stayed for 2 nights at The Felix River Kwai Resort. It was very nice, good rooms (bath rooms will be getting a little bit old - but O.K.).
We would stay there again. | 8/10 |
16 Septembre 2009 Udomluk Tangsajja | The check-in was efficient, we had booked 2 x double rooms, we arrived at 2pm only one room was ready, we waited until 3pm for the 2nd room. This is our 2nd stay at the hotel, the 1st stay was in 2007. The rooms are in real need of renovation. The bathrooms especially need an update, cracked tiles etc. The linen and towels are very old. On returing to our room for our 2nd night we had no toilet roll and only 1 tissue neatly folded and put into the empty box. I had to telephone twice to get a toilet roll delivered. The 3rd night, we had no hand towels.
At 2000baht per night this is an expensive hotel in Kanchanaburi and should be better. The breakfast is very good and the two evening meals we had were very good, the Chinese restaurant peking duck was excellent. The location is near the bridge and can be walked over to get into the more tourist part, we had a car so getting around was easy. | 4.6/10 |
