Candice Le Port | Cocohut is good value for money, in a good location close to Haad Rin, but far enough away so you re not amongst the party zone 24/7. The resort is on its own beautiful beach and is very secluded. Rooms are lovely, clean and typically Thai style. The only issue we had was with the reception staff who were quite rude and unhelpful. Otherwise, great place to stay! | 6.6/10 |

Lauren Manteiga | I stayed in the cliffside bungalow for 5 nights during the full moon party. This was a good location; about 5 min hike to the center of Had Rin, and if you cut through moon paradise bungalows to get to sunrise beach then 3 mins to full moon. And you don t have to bother with paying 100 bhat. Breakfasts was included, had a nice lounge area and pool. The beach was so so because it is a bay and shallow. But you can walk out on the pier and swim. The ac was nice, and when I stumbled home @ 4 or 5 in the morning, there wasn t any noise from full moon. All in all I would stay here again in a minute. Get breakfast early if you want there to be any left. Also free cold water in the minibar. Food was higher priced than in town, but you can still get a meal and a beer for less than 200. The full moon cocktail party is all you can drink, but still I thought it was a bit much, as other places have whole pig roast included with your stay. | 10/10 |

PETO RONEN MOSHE | Great location, beautiful resort.
We had a Executive Suite and would thoroughly recommend it.
The executive suite was near the swimming pool in a quiet area, the rooms superb and the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was wonderful.
One disadvantage: I think that in all suite (that include PC inside) internet should be free. | 9.6/10 |

Liad Shushan/ Yochay Alufer | I will start with the good points about this hotel - perfect location and beach of the hotel, the room is very high quality comfortable and clean. The things that bothered us the most was the service of the hotel staff that was very cold we were on our honeymoon and asked for bath ropes the hotel receptionist was not willing to help and said it s only for the 2 most expensive rooms (we slept at the 3rd most expensive- which apperently wasn t anough to grant us with a bath rope) another thing is that the cliff view rooms are located on the top of the hill and you have to clime 5 minutes of very stip stares to get to it, so the access to the room is not very comfortable. Last thing we didn t like about this hotel was the restaurant is very very expensive comparing to the restaurants in town, we spent most of our time at the hotel beach and had to eat ther at list once a day you pay a lot and the dishes are very small and unsatisfing. to sum it all the hotel offers great rooms great even perfect location if you don t mind the rest ths is the place for you.. (also very reliable motor bike rentals) | 8.4/10 |

Aleesha Cox | This resort is great for the full moon party, the party is just over the hill and is about a 3 minute walk. Its got its own beach which isn’t the party beach which I think is the best part about the hotel, you feel like your away from it all during the day relaxing on the beach then at night just walk over the hill and its all happening. I’ve been twice now to the full moon party and this hotel was in the far better location. You won’t be disappointed. | 9/10 |

Morgan Sandeman | BEAUTIFUL RESORT, ON OWN PRIVATE BEACH WHERE YOU CAN FLOAT ALL DAY, BEACH VOLLEYBALL ETC. RESORT TO SUIT A YOUNGER CROWD (18-30). ROOMS VERY CLEAN AND ALL YOU NEED. GOOD LOCATION 5 MIN WALK FROM RESTAURANTS AND FULL MOON PARTY. ALTHOUGH ALL RESORT SCOOTERS WERE BOOKED OUT AT THE TIME OF OUR STAY (HIRED FROM MAX S MOTORBIKES INSTEAD.....NEVER DO THIS THEY ARE DODGY!) RESORT FOOD OK AND GOOD PRICED. STAFF FRIENDLY ENOUGH BUT COULD BE A LITTLE MORE HELPFUL WHEN ASKING QUESTIONS ETC. WOULD DEF RETURN AGAIN! | 10/10 |

Ferrand | howether the bungalows are clean and only 5mn to Haad rin , I don t like at all this place because :
-too big hotel and too much turn over tourists so for the staff you are only a number room and they say one word : Bath.
-all is on control : ticket to go to swimming pool , if you are late for 5mn for breakfast , you have to go to restaurant and pay your meal.
-Not recommended for family , group of young people better.
-swimming pool not so clean and beautiful and you can t swin in a sea because many riefs.
-noisy because new bungalows are built.
-in bungalow, box for command television and internet but often broken and you pay a cart to have access to internet (100 baths for 30mn , more expensive than every where)

Louise Traynor | The resort was EXCELLENT. The staff were nice but the bar-men made our stay really enjoyable (Ang,Chai and Kuang..really friendly lads).I did think the prices of the rooms were a little pricey for what you get but as we had booked online before arrival we did get a discount of 10 euro s each night,then as we enjoyed staying there so much we stayed on longer and did receive a further discount.
The food is also really good but you can see the differnce in price if you re going to your smaller thai restaurants/if your on a budget.
The beach is amazing and we always warmed up at the beach bar,if you re looking for madness it s only a 5 min walk there (Had Rin)
The pool area is great too with lots of sun loungers which mostly the sun gets all day.When it s full moon time you can see the extra people arrive and can get really busy so get your lounger early.
This is really a great place to relax if you want or to party as i said had rin only 5 mins away and they have a compulsary party each time full moon arrives,costs 750B (e12)
You can eat all u want from 7 - 9.30 and free drink (cans of ur choice of beer) and vodka jellies...yum yum.
they decorate the place beautifully and dj in the mix.
We will definitely be going back to stay,we had only planned on staying 4-5 nights and ended up staying 14 cos we fell so in love with the place.
Didn t try out the spa and regret that now but next time we will.
If you want to stay in Had Rin area I 100% recommend you stay here,they cater for all types of budgets from E8 - E150 per nite.Absolutely AMAZING,can t big it up anymore!!!! | |
