Phangan Chai hotel is a small newly renovated hotel. With a green concept, saving the environment and one of the pioneer in ECO friendly energy usage in Thailand (see Green Concept). Located right by the sea front and a great Views beaches, sea and Samui Island from Roof top . Phangan Chai hotel provides you with a comfort in one of the Phangan's best location. The hotel is in walking distance to the island's main seaport and near all the shops, restaurants and marketplaces of the island main town Thong Sala.

Once a month throughout the year thousands of young people descend from every corner of the world to Haad Rin Nok Beach to attend the legendary "Koh Phangan Full Moon Party". This tremendously popular social event takes place once a month and lasts from dusk till dawn. There are line of bonfires span the beach, loud music play, people dance and have a great time. Only 20 minutes drive from Phangan Chai Hotel.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Pha-Ngan Chai Hotel's restaurant is friendly and informal, specializing in tasty seafood, purchased fresh daily from local fishermen around the pier. In the evenings guests can enjoy a barbecue dinner and maybe after dinner fun in the karaoke lounge. The hotel also provides 24 hour room service.

FACILITIES

The Pha-Ngan Chai Hotel is just a 20 minutes from Haad Rin Nok Beach, site of the famous dusk to dawn 'Full Moon Party' that takes place every month. Just 400m offshore from the hotel is Koh Tae Nai, a small and beautiful island which is ideal for boat trips and picnics - complete with caves, inlets, coral reefs and superb panoramic views from the 500m high summit.

From its location at the centre of Koh Phangan's land and sea transport, the hotel can arrange walking trips to the interior forests, mountains and water falls and boat trips to explore the island's beaches for fishing, diving and Snorkelling - or just plain sun bathing and the occasional swim.

** Trips can also be arranged to the Wat Kow Tahm Meditation Centre, with panoramic views and a sacred footprint of the Buddha.

16 Aout 2011 Lee Clancy	Not a great place. Location from Thongsala pier was ideal. Literally at the pier. 20 mins from Had Rin. But the staff were not friendly, I would even go so far as to say rude. Except for the lady who does breakfast, she was lovely. The other female staff acted as if we were a terrible inconvenience. The room has no safe contrary to description. A poster in the room said to leave valuables in the safe at reception, but there was none. We found some kind of droppings on our pillows a couple of times. The room was not cleaned for 4 days even when we requested it. The room was full of ants and the odd cockroach. The bathroom was dirty and there were vomit stains on the inside of the main door. The pool was poor, no sun-chairs and not well maintained. I wouldn t stay here again.	3.2/10

26 Decembre 2009 Fatima Jakoet	We were expecting a really bad hotel considering the reviews it got. The hotel is being renovated and we got there while it was still under construction. The rooms are clean and sufficient and I don t have any complaints. One night we did get home to a waterless bathroom - but the guy at reception let us use a new room to shower. It s located right at the port - a distance from the full moon party area - which wasn t bad at all considering we had to leave the next morning.	7/10
