25 Avril 2012 John W. | Stayed at resort for four nights and was quiet the whole time. They had finished extending the deck by the bar area day before we left which would be a welcome addition for dining purposes. Ate a few times at their restaurant which was good particularly the snapper. Breakfast was included in the price and you can order off the menu. The whole staff was very helpful and accommodating. Mo at the restaurant, for instance, offered me a plate of mixed fruit to bring back to our villa when I only had coffee for brekky. Our villa was cleaned and restocked with two bottled water each day. There is not much around the immediate area so if peace and quiet is what you re looking for then this is the place for you. There is a bigger outfit next door with a spa and a rough and ready restaurant on the other side where we had a few drinks. The resort setting is quite pretty with expansive views of Samui s spectacular sunsets. | 8/10 |
1er Decembre 2011 Kathryn Savaria | My husband and I stayed at the Koh Samui resort in November 2011. Loved the quiet location on a dead end road right on the beach. It was still the low season so the resort was not full and very quiet. Most times we had the pool to ourselves. The staff was very attentive and professional. We opted for the breakfast option which was a huge amount of food and always good (I recommend it). Once the water calmed down we were able to swim and snorkell right in front of the resort with pretty good fish viewing and reefs close to shore.
Note it s about a 15 minute walk to get to the main road to catch a taxi into town. There are several other places you can eat at along the way, have a drink or get a massage, as well as a few groceries.
If you want a big party scene and to be close to shopping this is not the place for you to stay. But if you want peace and quiet, to be pampered and have your every need taken care of, this resort is wonderful. We loved it here and will come stay here again if we return to Koh Samui. | 8/10 |
17 Septembre 2011 F hochstenbach | Was a wonderfull experience, very quiet, friendly and accomodating staff. Would stay there again. The whole, area is nice on that part of the island. Slightly away from all the major tourist hectic. | 8.6/10 |
26 Juillet 2011 Jahn | perfect bungalow in a very quiet area. and very nice service. They try to do their best. Only thing to complain: aircon only worked highspeed and they did not (could not?) fix it. | 9/10 |
18 Avril 2010 William Janetschek | Everything about the trip was excellent. Great location. Beautiful place. Great/friendly service. Delicious food. We loved the place and will go back again very soon. | 10/10 |
28 Mars 2010 Linas Sumskas | Location has some advantages (large room with large terrace; nice sandy beech with palms some rocks; restaurant is on the ridge of water; free computer/internet in the room) and disadvantages (poor not paved road to the hotel - some 500 meters; same destroyed buildings in nationhood; good kitchen at the restaurant during lunch/dinner, but very poor breakfast. Also the pool was closed due reconstruction during our stay, but we never use the pool if sea available. In general I rate the hotel quitesitively, but room price should be lower. | 6.6/10 |
19 Mars 2010 Zintz-Volbracht Karin | A quiet, well kept place with an extraordinary personal athmosphere. Thai food in the restaurant excellent, extremely friendly and helpfull staff. Thanks a lot for 10 unforgettable days! | 9/10 |
15 Janvier 2010 Diane and Peter Skeggs | The Hotel was very nice but in an isolated spot as far as going for walks in the townships was concerned.
Being close to the beach was great and the staff, restaurant and facilities were good. The food was particularly nice, fresh and beautifully cooked. | 7.4/10 |
10 Decembre 2009 Seb! | Very relaxing place, nice staff. Away fom all the busy area like Bohput or Chaweng. Had a great time (10 days) there. Beach is eating up the coast line from Koh Samui Resort but the next beach to the left is great (just 100yds).
If you want quietness and a relaxing resort thats the place ! | 7.2/10 |
16 Aout 2009 Stefano Fava | best buy! ok is expensive, but everything is at top level: rooms, services, kindness, beach (with abeautiful coral reef), swimming-pool massages, food, car and m-bike rental... | 10/10 |
14 Juillet 2009 Roman and family | We spent 3 days there. It is silent place with long beach but not suitable for swimming due to many stones and dead corals on the bottom except part on the left side. There are no any restaurants near than 0.8-1 km except hotel cafe. New hotel not so far from Koh Samui Resort is beeing constructed but it does not disturb. It is very romantic place but not cheap comparing with another ones.
14 Mai 2009 Klinkhart | The deluxe-bungalows are very nice with outside shower. The people were very friendly and helpful! The service was without any doubts. Only the location was a little bit afield - not for those who want have a party every night.
1er Juillet 2008 Grafinger Werner | We visited the Koh Samui Resort for the second time. It is situated off the beaten track in a calm area of Koh Samui. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful mile long, sandy, palm-lined beach. The hotel itself is well equipped and clean. All rooms dispose of a large bathroom, air condition, a TV and a computer with Internet for free. The restaurant is situated close to the beach. The food is excellent. Although the staff tried to do their best we have to citizen that only a few of them spoke English. The staff in the restaurant were very helpfull but overstrained.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay in the Koh Samui Resort.
15 Juin 2008 Adrienne Gadsden | Koi Samui resort exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful place to hold our son s wedding. The bungalows were amazing, thte setting beautiful and the Management and staff were very organised and so helpful. The food at wedding was also delicious and plentiful.
Thank you once again to Jackie and her staff for a wonderful wedding week.
3 Juin 2008 Helen Robertson | This is a small independent resort. The rooms themselves are well appointed and well finished. The reception staff are lovely but generally the restaurant and bar staff need a lot more training. The food is generally good but was overpriced as were drinks. Breakfast however was not good. The hotel has a great location right on a beautiful beach with stunning views and sunsets. Would we return probably yes but more for the beach and tranquility. The bar area was being renovated for the whole week we were there so we had drills, hammers, circular saws, paint and varnish smells all week which did mar our relaxation.
24 Mars 2008 Mr Robert Wilson | we had a wonderful stay here. the room was slightly small as we had an extra bed in there for our son but it was adequate for the 3 nights we stayed. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the only down side for some people would be (we didn t think so)that it is very isolated but, if you want peace and quiet, a lovley pool and a beautiful beach they are all here!
16 Mars 2008 dor michel arie | My wife and I stayed at the Koh Samui Resort for six nights and it was a very relaxing environment. The room was clean and well-stocked with a TV (but very poor channel selection, almost all Thai channels and no cable, which CAN be had in neighbouring resorts), computer with Internet, a mini-bar and a lovely main window/wall which could be unlocked and folded to allow an open-air view of the terrace. A nice touch was the beach hat and bag combination left in the room for our use - my wife bought the bag from the reception desk. One complaint, however, was the air conditioner (Bungalow A103) which sounded like an airplane engine and was quite disturbing.
There is a small pool in the middle of the grounds - looks larger in the photos, as does everything - with chairs around, a nice place to relax. The food is very good though the room prices and food prices are more than what you can find at neighbouring places. We enjoyed our stay, great service, but in retrospect we spent far too much and would opt for a cheaper alternative next time. Still, this resort is quiet and well-placed on a quiet strip of Bang Por beach. We suggest walking to the left (as you face the sea) a couple of hundred metres for a better swimming area. This resort is small and seemed to attract couples more than anyone else. Still, with so many great options to choose from, we recommend looking around before booking. We also found that many places had vacancies and you could just walk up and book a room.
5 Mars 2008 Kraus | Very beautiful hotel. nice stuff and service is very good. bay and sea aren´t that beautiful
Was will mann mehr.

10 Janvier 2008 Olson family | Located directly by the shore and away from the noisy main roads it gave us a relaxed and tranquil ending of our holiday. Beach and water is very good with a reef good for snorkeling. Bungalows of good standard, AC a little to noisy though. Restaurant with a great variety of dishes with really good food. Nice dinner on the beach in the evenings. I can definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a tranquil and quiet holiday away from the noise!
A negative thing is the high prices for transportation (taxi) ordered from the hotel. Taxis are unfortunately very expensive on Samui in general.
