Come in and meet interesting people from all over the world. Enjoy one of our countless, and in many cases unique, cocktails or an ice cold beer, either on draught or from the bottle. You can play pool on our slate bed table, or watch all the major sporting events, live from around the world, or just relax watch the latest movies on our big screens.

ACCOMMODATION

We have a total of 54 Superior Rooms, 60 Deluxe Rooms and 72 Junior Suites. Everyone can now enjoy the peace and tranquility that is a part of your holiday.

:: Superior Room ::

All our rooms are a delight to relax in, tastefully decorated each room has either queen-size or twin single beds. By request some rooms by can be equipped with a third bed. All rooms boast air conditioning, hot showers, Cable TV & satellite, mini bar and room service for breakfast. You can even order your daily newspaper from reception, with a choice of 83 different newspapers from around the world. Outside each room is a private terrace overlooking the scenic gardens.

:: Deluxe Room ::

We have a total of 60 rooms, big reception-lobby area and everyone can now enjoy the peace and tranquility that is part of your holiday. All our rooms are a delight to relax in, tastefully Thai style decoration, each room has either king-size or twin single beds. All rooms boast air conditioning, hot showers, Cable TV & satellite, mini bar and room service. You can even order your daily newspaper from reception, with a choice of 83 different newspapers from around the world. Each room has a private terrace with furniture.

RESTAURANT & BAR

Our beachside restaurant is open from 8am until 2 in the morning, you can feed on our excellent choice of Thai or European food. Our offerings include all day full English breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner. We particularly pride ourselves on both the standard of preparation and presentation of our food. At sunset we prepare a romantic setting on the beach, overlooking the beautiful bay of Chaweng.

Our Chef prepares a buffet which includes freshly caught prawns, lobsters, squid, shell-fish, crabs, plus many other varieties. At night you are invited to join us for a romantic dinner full of eastern promise under a moonlight setting on our beach. Just choose something from our buffet to be grilled, steamed, salted, baked, barbecued or fried to your specification, by our highly qualified team of chef. Or choose from our many varieties of different meat dishes and vegetarian foods cooked European or Thai style. Every effort is made to cater for individual tastes and we take exceptional pride in our culinary excellence.

7Seas - The Restaurant
Our signature Restaurant at the Ark Bar Beach Hotel, and a new concept of fine dinning. With this extra Part of the Menu, Master Chef Mario & his Team will prepare a very unique style of Dishes, using only the very best of ingredients with special attention in taste and presentation, along side you will find a Wine list selected from around the World. Please have a look in our kitchen while your food is being prepared. We wish you a very enjoyable evening in our specially created atmosphere through the LED light setting

Water Sport
Water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and many other activities are available along the beach. Or maybe you just want to relax in our cool freshwater pool & Jacuzzi. Samui offers you a choice of trips for fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving from a half day to as long as 3 days - we will be happy to provide you with details and prices. Take advantage of learning to dive twice a week, the SIDS Diving School offers free diving lessons for our Guests in our pool.

LOCATION MAP

Koh Samui is a 45 minute flight from Bangkok and our Resort is a 15 minute drive to the airport. Nearby beaches, restaurants, nightlife and shopping centers are comfortably reachable with our own Shuttle Service.

12 Avril 2012 Martin Robert Cliff	Stayed in a good sized 2nd floor junior suite 100m from the waters edge and 60m from the nearest pool . Big comfortable bed , rain shower and couldn t hear a thing at night once all doors closed . The place to be if you enjoy a swim-up pool bar ( there are 2 others also ) lazy chill music good service , whether on the beach loungers or poolside during the day and a good atmosphere at night . Free beach party on Wed. and Friday nights and a stroll to nightlife/restaurants/massage/shopping/transport/bars if you fancy a change from the 4 bars and restaurants of The Ark Bar . Would love to stay in a similar room again . great value for money . Recommend .	8.6/10

6 Mars 2012 Chantelle Leeding	This hotel is great for people aged 18 - 28. It has 2 amazing pools, one with a swim up bar. They have a live DJ playing daily in the arvo. Great pool parties on Sunday and Fridays. I hightly recommend this Hotel. It is right on the beach and in a beautiful location. Close to everything. The staff are very friendly as well. 7 Janvier 2012 tomas dwyer	lovely hotel. nice rooms. only thing is dont go here if u want to get a nights sleep in peace. bangers goin off every night. our room was right on the main walkway to the ark bar. the noise of people walkin past at night shoutin and screamin and twice we had people tryin to get into our room by mistake probably cause drunk. wouldnt stay here again cause of that.	8.6/10

The night life happens on the beach at ark bar yet there isnt much noise in your room. over all definitely one of the best places to stay in. I highly recommend it.	10/10
8 Novembre 2011 Houston	Had a great time at Ark Bar, we were in a Junior suite at Ark Bar 3(these seemed to be the nicest from pics,and did not dissapoint!) staff all very pleasant, towels and sheets changed everyday. We expected it to rain alot seeing as it was the beginning of November- it rained twice,for about 5 minutes each time, other than that the weather was fantastic! Plenty of things to do during your holiday, although people trying to lure you into their shops/taxis on Chaweng Beach Road is extremely annoying. This hotel is in a great location,very central and a stones throw from the beach- I d go as far as saying it s the place to be on Koh Samui, think it s more an institution than a hotel...everybody knows Ark Bar! Would definitely pay another visit here :)	8/10

And most important, there are staff everywhere. You never have to wait more then a few seconds, until someone always shows up. Book in advance, since it´s often are full booked.	10/10

My main concern was wether the wi-fi was going to be reliable as I needed internet for business purposes, and this surpassed my expectations without fail. Well done!! I will definitely be staying at Ark Bar again on my next trip to Koh Samui and have begun recommending it to friends planning to visit. All staff, at the restaurant, the beach, reception, cleaners, drivers, bell boys..... all smile and are glad to assist you without fail. A real warm place that welcomes visitors proudly.
