Baan Talay Resort is located on chaweng beach - Koh Samui's most popular beach location, towards the south of Chaweng, closed to Centara Grand Beach Resort.

Chaweng beach is by far the most popular beach on Koh Samui. Apart from the long stretch of white sandy beaches, Chaweng also offers an interesting array of shops, bars, night - time entertainment as well as numerous restaurants. Samui Island - Thailand's third largest island, has plenty of activities on offer; including diving, around the island tour, including day visits to islands nearby.

Our 38 bungalows are tastefully designed and can be differentiated into 2 distinctive theme concepts. Garden View Bungalows, which occupy the majority, are traditional beach bungalows scattered around the resort's gardens while our pool view bungalows and beachfront bungalows have recently been given a major facelift and now offer a contemporary clean design with a nice touch of new modern amenities.

The restaurant is located by the hotel's beachfront and is offering an all-day dining with classic Thai as well as international dishes. Our restaurant welcomes both the in-house guests and the public.

Our 25 meter free-form swimming pool is maintained to the highest standards. A great place to cool off after a jungle safari or to sip an exotic cocktail in the evenings.

Baan Talay Resort is located on Chaweng Beach - Koh Samui's most famous beach for its white sand and shopping area. We are located nearby the famous Centara Grand Hotel towards the south end of Chaweng Beach. Our small resort is approximately 15 mins from the airport, and within minutes to local shops along Chaweng busy Road. Tesco Lotus, Big C and Makro are only 5 minutes away.

Chaweng beach is renowned for its long white sand stretch along the eastern coast of Koh Samui. It is also a central most populated area that offers numerous of shops, restaurants, bars and all kinds of entertainment.

7 Mars 2012 Michaela Nemcova	I did a booking only for 4 nights in the beginning but in the end we have decided to stay 9 nights as we really loved Baan Talay!!! The location is perfect, noisy part of Chaweng beach but still close to the centre. All the stuff is very kind, polite and able to help with everything. Rooms are very clean and stylish decorated. I would love to come back and I can recommend this hotel for 100%. Thank you Baan Talay for wonderful stay in Koh Samui!	10/10
10 Fevrier 2012 Ellie Leahy	Stayed in the pool view room for 6 nights in February 2012. Absolutely loved it! Fantastic value for a beautiful room right on the beach! Staff were great, complimentary breakfast was good too. Pool and beach view rooms highly recommended over garden view, as they have recently been renovated.	9.4/10
25 Avril 2011 CAMATTE	This hotel is fantastic. Very weel located in the south of Chaweng beach, close to everything but in the quiet side of Chaweng. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. I would recommend anyone to try it.	10/10

25 Fevrier 2011 Susanne Persson	Bokade med trädgårdsutsikt men blev uppgraderade till ett nyare rum men med utsikt mot en mur. Utsikten trist men vi valde att ta rummet för det var nytt och fräscht. All personal var vänlig och tillmötesgående men restaurangpersonalen pratade dålig engelska och var lite förvirrade. Det tog ofta lång tid innan de kom med menyn och tog upp beställningar. Poolen bra men hysterisk handduksutläggning på morgonen av främst tyska turister. Stranden framför vit och fin så badet var bra. Vi har en treårig pojke och små barn kan inte bada utan att man håller i dem hela då havet är livligt och mycket strömt. Det blir djupt direkt när man går i vattnet. Stilen på hotellet är inte typisk Thailändsk utan man har valt en lite stramare stil. Härliga liggbäddar i restaurangen vända ut mot havet.	6.6/10

1er Juillet 2010 Bjorn	Good location on Chaweng Beach. The AC in the room made us use earplugs because of the noice. The rooms were ok (garden view) but not great. Ok poolarea but with Chaweng right outside we didn´t use the pool at all. The restaurang is located just beside the Chaweng beach with a stunning view. The breakfast was excellent, buffé, but the eveningmeals we had were taken in Chaweng town right outside the hotel. Internet access is available, but they charge you for about 1THB/minute even thoug you have your own laptop.	6.6/10
