Welcome To. . . Weekender Villa Beach Resort
The spirit of old Samui is alive at Weekender Villa.
It is a traditional place on a 3200 sqm beach plot with more than 100 years old Banyan Trees
and only 10 bungalows with reasonable modern facilities. And it is a quiet place with "action" just 1,5 km away.
Es gibt noch das "alte Samui". Weekender Villa ist ein traditionelles Resort mit mehr als 100-jaehrigen
Banyan Trees und nur 10 Bungalows, die gemaessigt modernen Anspruechen entsprechen.
Es ist ein ruhiger Platz, nur 1,5, km entfernt vom Centrum von Lamai.

Each of our 10 air conditioned bungalows has also a fan, electronic safe, fridge, king size bed, a two curtain set for day and night,
a private terrace of 4 or more sq.m. and a detailed directory informing about everything what might be important for guests.
Each of the attached bathrooms is equipped with western toilet, hot/cold shower and basic toiletries.
Except of Standard Bungalow the bungalows have insulated walls.
The other differences between Standard Bungalow and Standard with Large Balcony are: Size of bungalow: 16 sq.m. (1), 20 sq.m. (2)
each plus bath room of 3,5 sq.m. Small terrace (1), big terrace (2). In Standard with Large Balcony we can put an extra bed to accommodate a family with one child.
Compared to our Superior/Beachfront bungalows the simpler interior is more child friendly.
Superior/Beachfront bungalows (bungalow 20 sq.m. plus 4 sq.m. bathroom and large terrace) offer free coffee/tea facilities.
The Beachfront bungalow has satellite TV with English movie channels, several music channels as well as news channels like BBC and CNN.

Jeder unserer 10 Bungalows hat eine Klimaanlage, einen Ventilator, einen Safe, einen Kuehlschrank, ein Kingsize Bett, Tages- und Uebergardinen,
einen privaten Balkon von mindestens 4 m2 und eine Mappe, die alle wichtigen Informationen enthaelt.
Jedes der angrenzenden Badezimmer ist ausgestattet mit eine Toilette nach westlichem Standard, warmer/kalter Dusche, Seife und Duschgel.
Ausser bei den Standard Bungalow Bungalows sind saemtliche Waende isoliert.
Weitere Unterschiede zwischen Standard Bungalow and Standard with Large Balcony sind: Bungalowgroesse: 16 qm (1), 20 qm (2), plus jeweils ein 3,5 qm grosses
Bad Standard Bungalow hat einen kleinen , Standard with Large Balcony einen grossen Balkon. In Standard with Large Balcony koennen wir ein extra Bett stellen,
um Familien mit einem Kind unterzubringen. Die im Verhaeltnis zu unseren Superior/Beachfront Bungalows einfachere Ausstattung ist kinderfreundlicher
Superior und Beachfront Bungalows (Bungalow 20 qm plus Bad 4 qm und grosse Balkons) verfuegen ueber elektrische Wasserkocher zur Kaffee/Tee Zubereitung.
Der Beachfront Bungalow ist mit Satellitenfernsehern ausgestattet, mit dem sich diverse englische Film - Musik - und Nachrichtenkanaele wie HBO, MTV, CNN und BBC empfangen lassen.

The hotel is located in the Nothern part of Lamai thus making bathing in the sea just besides the hotel impossible. You have to walk 5 to 10 minutes or so to be able to swim in the sea. However, this is the only disadvantage of staying there. Although the hotel is not new, everything is kept clean and looks decent to stay in there. We stayed at beachfront and really liked our room. It may seem plain outside but inside it was perfect. The pool was quite small for swimming, but water was cooler than in the sea (we tried it only in mornings). Service and food were good, people very friendly. Motorbike rent in the place was handy. There weren t many guests there and we met just a couple or two, sometimes it seemed that the pool area and the bar were at our service only. Beautiful place for peaceful and secluded recreation time. We highly recommend it.

Kleine, sehr gepflegte, schöne Bungalowsanlage direkt am Strand. Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Frühstück a la Carte. Wer sich erholen möchte ist dort genau richtig. Zum schwimmen sollte man aber 15 min. laufen damit auch bei Ebbe das Wasser hoch genug ist.

we stayed here for two weeks and had a great time .
Gerlinde and the staff were relaxed and very friendly and made us feel like part of the family.
the bungalows were clean and tidy with constant hot water, super large beds and air conditioning .
we wished for nothing more for a relaxing holiday
The food served was better than any restaurant in town, delicious.
We arrived as guests and left as friends

A relaxing oasis in a more and more crowded Lamai. Bungalows with good standards, charming personel and the always helpful hostess Gerlinde. I did it with my daugther, perfect recovery after bust daytrips. Norway
