Montra Formerly is Ing-Sila Retreat & Spa. Montra is a small independent hotel you have duck through a pair of solid old wooden gates. As you clunk the gates behind you, you find yourself a magical peaceful garden, you feel yourself relaxing and you get the feeling you are some where special.

Our quiet location , 1km. from Lamai Beach allows us to give you holiday lodging in a beautiful villa for a price better than the tiny room at The beach , having a 9 villa property means that Montra staff know you by name and remember every preference .privacy and personalized service.

Our Villas:
Our 9 Luxuriously villas are situated in a lushness tropical garden dominated by an elegant swimming pool. All villas are Large 63 square meters ,and offers master bedroom with high ceiling top quality bed and linens the living room comes equipped with all the modern amenities, the 14 square meters bathroom offer both an open shower and a bathtub designed with twin headrests for two. And double sinks.

Our large pool winds it way around the resort and is never more than a few steps from the entrance to each villa.

-: Hue Restaurant & Bar :-
Serves up tasty food using fresh produce & many ingredients grown here in our vegetable garden. we never use sq.m. or gm foods and all our dishes are adaptable to vegetarian diets. our bar is a fun and informal place to hang out, lot of comfy sofas were you can relax and enjoy listening to some chilled out music.

We have several events at Hue's Restaurant including Secret Garden or Pool side barbecues, cocktail evenings, and we have the capability of arranging romantic private dinners in our sala , pool side or secret garden and custom menus. Please let us know if you have any special requests.

In the acre of grounds you will find the Montra Spa, an outdoor swimming pool, a secret garden, sun deck, a croquet lawn, vegetable garden, Thai Sala, HUE restaurant & bar and lots of quiet places to sit and relax.

10 Avril 2012 amanda singleton	My recent stay at Montra was excellent. The hotel is small and intimate but the standards of service are excellent and the rooms were really nicely appointed. I d definitely stay there again if I was visiting Samui and I don t think it loses much from being a short distance from the overdeveloped and slightly chavvy beach strip hotels and resorts.	9.4/10
24 Janvier 2012 Gordon MacDonald	An oasis of calm and elegance. Stayed at the Montra towards the end of a three week trip to Thailand and Laos. It was pure heaven. Private and select bungalow, lush gardens, cooling canal-like pool,great for relaxing in or for a leisurely swim. Exquisite food. Wonderful staff.	9.4/10
11 Novembre 2009 Timothy John Hutton	Wonderful hotel.Staff are brilliant from the general manager Mr Sathit downwards.Very elegant villas all alongside an incredible pool.Resataurant also well above average with everything cooked to order including the herbs being picked from their own vegetable garden.They also recommend other local restaurants, book them for you and even transport you there and back. Altogether an unforgetable experience.	10/10
6 Juin 2009 Paula HUTCHINSON	The hotel is just what was needed..somewhere quiet, peaceful and relaxing. It s only small (8 villas) so never really get s busy . It s only a 2minute ride down to Lamai town/beach. Everything from the room, to the pool to the food was great. No Complaints!
