14 Juin 2011 Ari Kivimaa | Excellent small resort to stay a night between arriving to Koh Samui and moving to Koh Tao. Nice big room and very flexible staff who arranged us early breakfast before we needed to head to ferry. | 7.8/10 |
2 Mars 2011 Gordon Ward | Excellent holiday and first class attention given to my wife and I by the staff during our holiday, nothing was too much trouble for them, they helped with our every needs. | 10/10 |
20 Aout 2009 Sonja Ylkänen | ok - we were just staying one night on our way to Koh Tao
4 Janvier 2009 Torsten Wohlrab | Absolutley shiti this resort Everything inside is 25 years or older. Air condition smelled like a dead dog. Stuff was nice & friendly, bathroom was very retro perhaps older than 25 years. We thank god that we had to leave at 6 a.m. in the morning so we did not see the breakfast...
14 Octobre 2008 sharron price | We spent 6 days at the Baan Fah resort in one of the beach front rooms. The room was stunning, clean and exactly like the pictures on the website. We were able to open our doors and walk down a few steps to the beach, which was cleaned every morning. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Even before we left home I had exchanged emails because of a change of flight time and the hotel picked us up at the airport. Breakfast is included in the price and there was a choice of what you could have.
Maenam itself is a very quiet resort, there are a few resaurants and bars along the beach, but not much else in the way of shops. This was a worry at first but we were able to get a taxi every day into Bophut to shop and find other restaurants for about 250 bht, although there was a lovely man at Baan Fah who would drive you for 300 bht. and the one next door to Baan Fah was very nice.
It is a small friendly resort. No swimming pool but it is so close to the sea we didn t mind. We will be going back next year.
23 Mars 2008 Shupletsova Alexandra | A tiny and comfortable hotel. I guess there are about 5-7 rooms, not more. Not crowded at all. And one has more freedom there.
The stuff is very friendly.
We stayed in a honeymoon suit as the beachfront ones were unavailable, but anyway we had a nice time. The room is very spaceous, even is we had an additional bed for the third person. There are beach chairs on the balcony, which we found very useful. It s only a pity, the sun was on the balcony only in the morning. The only drawback about the room is that the lavatory flush wasn t working properly from time to time.
The beach is very neaty and cleaned every morning. There are always free beach chairs.
The breakfast is not reach though, don t expect a buffet with a wide variety of dishes. But you can go to a nearby restaurant, it s not a problem.
What we liked most was the location. There are good restorants near on the beach and the hotel is sutuated in the centre of the village, so a supermarket, a pharmacy, restourants are very handy. At the same time in the hotel and on the beach it s peaceful and quiet.
We don t regret staying there.

6 Mars 2008 Susan | We didnt get the room we booked.
We wanted the Honey Moon Suite. They tried to keep this from our knwowledge and wanted us to pay the same high price for a less expensive room. Horrible! We never going to visit this place again. They are not trustable!
15 Janvier 2008 Tingles | The hotel is pretty good. We stayed at the beachfront room, which was large and nice. Huge bathroom. TV and aircon good (aircon a little loud, but usually is!)
Only downfall is the beach. They rake it every morning, and it looks nice, but the water is murky. Wouldn t go back there because of the sea water.
8 Janvier 2008 Alexey Kechko | Very god value for money.
All rooms are recently renovated, are located at the seaside.
Hospitality was funtastic as rarely met in more expensive hotels.
Staff responded to all of our needs, booked trips and entetainment. We were also offered car transfer sevice at very competitive prices. On our leave we were given a courtesy room free of charge.
The location is by the sea, more expensive rooms have a sea view and are just about 5 meters away from the water. It was very quiet. For cost aware travellers I would recommnend the cheapest rooms. They are somewhat farther from the beach (just 5-10 meters) and provide less privacy but still are very pleasant to stay in and their price is very competitive.
29 Aout 2007 Mr & Mrs. Joseph Vijayraj | Positives:- The hotel is nice and quiet. The room is clean.
Located near to many shops and easy to get to the skytrain.
Negatives:-
The bathroom tub didnt have a mat; caused an accidental fall.

6 Aout 2007 Louise Green | Beautiful rooms - exactly like the photos. Super-friendly service, very small, quiet resort. Beach beautiful to look at although a little more rough than Chaweng. Thank you very much for a perfect end to my hectic holiday!
