Sophie Walker | We stayed at New Heaven for four nights( my husband and our 2 boys ages 6 and 9)and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff are a joy the food was perfection with a spectacular view over Shark bay. The snorkelling was also quite incredible and we saw sharks every day so ignore the Lonley planet book which says there are no sharks in Shark Bay!We will definately be back. | 7.8/10 |

alex | we staid in a family bungalow,really spacious for 3 persons ,clean,big terasse and nice view.the only bad point is the outside bathroom (not so nice when it s raining!).Some little details can be improved(to justify the price).But we enjoyed our stay,the restaurant is good and the staf is nice .One of the best point is that the resort is really well integrated in the environment and has a lot of charm. | 7.2/10 |

Dorthe Hamann | Fantastic situation and view from family bungalow! But the bungalow is old and need renovation. Very nice, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent restaurant!!! (If you dont stay there, just visit the restaurant! Eg: Real hollandaise to the fish etc.). Tip: Go snorkeling: Shark Reef is just outside the little beach. -And there ARE sharks! -We saw 4! -One BIG, 2m) | 7.25/10 |

Price is a little to high!!! As no breakfast is included.
2500 BHT / night sea view with air con... Same cottage without air con 1500 BHT - they calculate 1000 BHT / night for air con! You must really have high electricity prices ;o)
Never mind I enjoyed the stay, but you can get the same for cheaper prices. Beach area was dirty (nobody took care) the very close beach of the Luxus resort is simply perfect!!!! | 7/10 |

Catherine Moulins | Great room with fantastic view - no 7 - however hotel for the price is a little disappointing. Breakfast is not included. Beach is very small, and swimming is hard at low tide. Restaurant is overrated. | 6/10 |

Catherine Moulins | This is a pleasant place to stay. You have to be quite fit because there are a lot of stairs. The view from our room was spectacular. The beach however is really small and you can t really swim from it at low tide, however freedom beach is only a short climb away and it is lovely. The restaurant was Ok but not really for Thai food but there is plenty of choice nearby. | 7/10 |

nous avions réservé 6 nuits nous sommes restés une seule nuit car arrivé trop tard pour trouver autre chose le premier soir ! il faut savoir que c est tout simplement trés crade,les draps pue, les chambres ne resemble en rien avec l idée que l on se fait de part les photos ! Cela vaut pas ce prix mais dix fois moins !
Nous avons trouvé par la suite mieux (propre) et bien moins cher
j avais lue un commentaire de ce type avant de partir et n en avait pas tenu compte : mal m en a pris...

Christiane Tetreault | I stayed in the SeaView Honeymoon and I was desappointed of the room,the hotel service, the ammenities and the snorkeling. About the room, A/C was working during the day but on and off at night with bipping sound all night long so it made the nights nosy and very hot. The long chair on the balcony were very unconfortable and most of the lights were not working. The room had limited place to put your stuff, the doors could not be closed so the bugs get in. Some of the staff were ok but most of them look very desinterested. Outside of the restaurant, there is no facility (no beach towel, no chair, no pool, etc) The beach is extremyly small and at high tides it is difficult to walk to other beach because of the rocks. The snorkeling was the worst place I ever see in my life as all corals were totally death, very lillte fishes and some day, very bad visibility. Because of the corals, it is almost impossible to walk in the water. | 4.6/10 |

Mr Robin Leslie James | We really enjoyed our stay at New Heaven. The food was excellent both in quality and value for money ( we ate only Thai food, but Western food was available too), The atmosphere very relaxed and staff very helpful. We had 2 rooms with lovely views of the bay (you could even see some sharks from the room!) but the higher room had some cockroaches and smelt very damp - it all added to the jungle experience! There are many steps down to the accomodation and beach, so this is not suitable for the unfit. The main beach is accessable with a clamber over some rocks and through shallow water and is worth the effort for the sand quality. For snorkellers, the tiny piece of New Heaven beach is more ideal for launching since the best snorkelling areas extend from this point right across the bay. | 8.4/10 |

Alexander Adrianus van Pel | Bungalows on a steep hill, expect to sweat a lot to climb to them. Price far overrated, can easily find much better rooms near beach for less then half the price.
Outside bathroom and veranda was not clean, lots of leafs and animals in bathroom.
Private beach is 10 square meter small stones with no ficilities and not cleaned.
The restaurant has a good view, that is probably the only positive to tell.

Amelia Mae Henriques-O'Reilly | We were not impressed with the accommodations or service at New Heaven. In fact, we checked out after one night. When we got into our room, it was apparent that it had not been cleaned in quite a while.The bed was made and there were clean towels, but the floor was littered with dead bugs and the bathroom shelves were covered in insect droppings.The curtains were stained and dusty. It seemed as though there had not been a thorough cleaning of the place in quite some time. If the room had been immaculate (as every other place we stayed in Thailand) it would have been a lovely place to stay, as the view was beautiful but it was hard for us to enjoy ourselves when it felt as if the staff had not taken any time to make sure that our room was ready for guests.In general the staff was not friendly; my boyfriend was a bit sick when we checked in and so i went out to get him some soup. I asked the kitchen if I could borrow a spoon and they said no. In disbeleif I asked again, thinking that maybe they ahdn t understood me. I explained and again they said no and went into the kitchen and ignored me. I thought this was very odd and inappropriate for people involved in a customer service job. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The view is spectacular, but that is the only redeeming quality of the place. There are many other places in Koh Tao within the samer price range that are friendly, clean and hospitable. | 3.8/10 |
