The Golden Beach Resort is located on the beach front of Aonang with spectacular view of the emerald green water of the Andaman Sea and with picturesque mountain view at the rear of the resort. There are over 130 islands in its surroundings including the most stunning: Phi Phi Island re-nowned for its beauty and the movie "The Beach" starring with Leonardo Di Caprio.

Situated on a 4 acres of paradise, which contains 42 Deluxe Rooms (Seaview, Mountain View, Garden and Pool View) and 3 Superior Suite Rooms.

ACCOMMODATION

There are 10 Pavilion Suites bungalows (7 Doubles 3 twins with a superfluous area of 50 sq.m.), 3 Pavilion Seaview bungalows (3 twins, 60 sq.m.), 12 Executive Pavilion bungalows (Jacuzzi Villa) all scattered around a well maintained luxurious tropical garden.

70 Guest-Rooms are comfortably furnished and located in either the hotel or in traditional style Bungalows scattered through the resort's garden. Each room has individually controlled air-conditioning with a remote control, a bathtub shower, hot and cold water, toiletries, satellite television, IDD telephone, private balcony/terrace, coffee corner, mini bar and hair dryer.

DINING & RESTAURANT

Our elegant restaurant which serves food inside and outside named "Thai Thai restaurant" opened daily between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. The morning breakfast is also served in the same premises from 7 am. to 10.30 a.m. We have excellent Thai and Western style food, fresh seafood daily prepared for evening barbecues or special dishes.

SERVICES & FACILITIES

Swimming Pool: The swimming pool is set in a picturesque Mountain View and a stroll away from the beach. It is opened from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The main pool is 12 meters wide, 30 meters long and 1.7 meters deep. There is also a children pool which is 32 sq.m.

Conference Room: We are pround to offer two wide conference rooms named Bualuang 1 and Bualuang 2 ideal for any special events from work seminars to weddings. Its location (nearby beach and picturesque sceneries) make it a very popular and memorable place to wed or to have an occasional reception.

Hotel Services: Domestic and International air tickets, boat and car rental, foreign currency exchange, laundry, left luggage, long distance & oversea call, massage, postal service, room service, safe deposit box at lobby, facsimile service, daily tour & transfer, newspaper and medical service on call.

Tour Counter Service: We have a counter desk tour service where you can choose a wide range of local tour to visit the picturesque surroundings of Aonang and Krabi, from Islands to fresh water streams. You can book private taxi or boat (speed-boat or traditional long tail boat) as you wish.

Inter Service: We have a number of computers available for our guests to go online on the Internet. The market center of Aonang has also many Internet cafes only a stroll away from our hotel.

Car Parking: We provide a car park private to the hotel with 24 hours surveillance and a guard on stand by.

Sport and recreation (in Aonang areas): Boat cruising, canoeing, fishing, rock climbing, sailing, scuba diving, snooker, snorkeling, sun bathing, swimming, cycling, jogging, elephant trekking and sightseeing.

21 Fevrier 2012 sharon doble	Best place we have ever stayed.Upgraded to a bungalow room and it was lovely.Pool was magnificent breakfast was good except I had a very small piece of fish in sauce that had about 100 bones in it,breakfast staff need to smile a bit and have milk on hand for tea or coffee outside.Location was perfect.Pool closes way too early as its the hotels best asset.	9.6/10
12 Fevrier 2012 Øyvind Herbert Skoglie	Nice resort, close to beach, agreeable pool area and we had a spacious and comfy suite, normal breakefast. On the negative side, never a free sunbed after 0700 in the morning, all occupied by towels,books etc. We had one lunch and one dinner at the restaurant, very slow service and absolutely not good food, so we didn t eat more there. Very expensive internet access, and American Express was not accepted. And the hardest matress we ever have experienced in Thailand. Conclusion: We will never more visit hotel/resort without free internet and having to fight for sunbeds at pool.	8.4/10

29 Decembre 2011 Bjørn Viggo Johansen	Everything was 1. class at Golden Beach Resort, except for (in our opinion) the total missunderstanding of how to celebrate christmas.That was a typical american way and as far as we could see, there were no americans there. nowhere in europe celebrates Christmas that way. Most of all very enoying and too loud music at every breakfast ! We will not visit this hotel again during Christmas, but other seasons:YES !We also made a written complaint to the management, but that did not help unfortunately.	10/10

21 Decembre 2011 Alexander Nordstrom	The location is great at the walking street in central Ao Nang . The staff was friendly. Except for one dinner at the restaurant. We complained that the BBQ White Snapper was raw. The kitchen tried to fool us by BBQ the same fish and turn it upsidedown. The final bill at the resturant wasn t correct at all. The tour Girl was friendly and helped us with a private tour to the waterfall. The pool is ok, except for all guest reserving the best sunchairs before breakfast with towels .	8.6/10

1er Novembre 2011 Suvashis Halder	The hotel has an excellent location on Ao Nang Beach. The room was fine and the pool was also good. Breakfast spread was ok. However, the service quality dissapointed us. We had to ask for tea/coffee sachet refills every day, staff rarely made eye contact and smiled. Wifi came at a high price. We stayed for 2 nights and wanted to extend our stay by a day at the same price which the hotel refused despite the resort being totally empty. Overall average exprience, compared to our superior experiences in similar priced hotels in Phuket and Bangkok.	5.2/10

21 Octobre 2011 michael allen	Every thing ok but would be much better if had free internet in every room as people from all over world come to stay at your hotel.the swimming pool only open from 0900hrs to 1800 hrs.I have many friends that come to thialand and would stay with you if you had free internet if added 200baht to cost of room and add free internet. i had very good time and will come again next year with free internet i hope. yours michael alllen and new wife noke.	8.4/10
20 Octobre 2011 Sune Salling Johansen	I was in generel pleased with my stay at the Golden Beach Resort, however having to spend 12 days in the executive bungalows with an air condition that only worked half of the time and with several electricity interruptions, is deducting a bit from stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, although english skills could be improved. Internet rates are very expensive and I experienced 2 days out of a week, where the wireless did not work. However having mentioned this, the staff and other facilities leaves me and my family with a good impression of Thailand and a satisfactory stay and Golden Beach Resort.	7.6/10
17 Octobre 2011 Sayan	ตอนไปถึงใหม่ๆผมไปถึงตอนประมาณ 19.00น. ทางเข้าค่อนข้างมึดครับ ห่างจากถนนใหญ่ประมาณ30M.แต่ยังดีที่เข้ามามีร้านอาหารหลายร้าน และโรงแรมอ่าวนางวิลล่า เป็นถนนแคบๆรถวิ่งได้1คันสบาย 2 คันต้องหลบกันบ้าง เมื่อถึงโรงแรมทางโรงแรมตอนรับดีครับ แต่นิดนึงจัดห้องให้ผิดครับผมเลือกที่นอนเป็น Double bed แต่จัดที่นอนให้เป็น Twin bed ให้มา แต่พอแจ้งทางโรงแรมก็เปลี่ยนให้เลยได้ห้อง pool view ดีกว่าครับ OK เลยไม่ต้องเพิ่มอะไร บรรยากาศในโรงแรมกลางคืนดูมึดไปหน่อยครับ แต่เงียบสงบดีเหมาะแก่การพักผ่อน ตอนเช้าตื่นมา บรรยากาศในโรงแรมดีครับ และที่สำคัญทางโรงแรมมีเลี้ยงนกไว้ด้วยครับ ตอนเช้าเดินออกจากโรงแรมไปที่ทะเล ใกล้มากครับแค่เดินข้ามถนนเล็กๆ 10กว่าก้าวก็ถึงทะเลแล้ว ใกล้มากๆ ที่ดีที่สุดวิวทะเลตอนเย็นตอนพระอาทิตย์กำลังตกสวยมากๆครับ สรุปโดยรวมแล้วอยู่ในขั้นดีครับ โรงแรมเล็กๆ สบายๆ ครับ ชิวๆกับบรรยากาศแค่นี้ผมก็ไม่อยากกลับกรุงเทพแล้วครับ	8.2/10

12 Aout 2011 Mr Russell Lucas	Golden Beach Resort is in a very good location by the beach. Pavillion Suite was fine and we were upstairs near the pool. Could see water treatment plant at rear, but never had any smells. Pool area was good, with a good size pool. Breakfast was lacking in variety and did get boring after a while. All staff very courteous. Would recommend	7.2/10

Но вот 2-х этажные бунгало - это был сюрприз: не хочется подниматься по лестнице на 2-й, а если живешь на 1-ом, то ... как повезет с соседями сверху. Питание как и везде. Неплохой ресторан, на случай, если не хочется никуда ходить вечером. Отличный бассейн. А вот персонал отеля страдает . Но это сказывается наличие арабско-массульманских направленностей.	9.2/10

27 Juin 2011 Mr. Son Le	Its a nice hotel, if you dont mind about too much service. The food is very nice, as the location, as its directly at the beach. Nearly directly, as you have to walk over one small street. But the service was very weak, the room service forgot 24 hours to pick up the dishes, until it was full over ants. In the end i had to bring it personaly to one staff. I would have not mind, if they really would not have seen the dirty dishes, but the room service moved it from one corner in an other corner. Also the swimming pool was dirty, we found glass bottles in the water, as plenty of stones. The pool bar, was sometimes closed at 4 pm, then again 5 pm, then again 6 pm. After asking for drinks, it was told us they dont sell drinks after 4 pm, what was not true, as the first day we bought a drink at 6 pm. Very unusually for me was, that usually hotels are also friendly to thai people, as we were traveling in a group with 4 other thais, and the hotel was not very friendly to them, asked them every day for their key cards, as ignored them when they wanted to order. So yes its a nice hotel, if you dont mind about staff and service.	8.4/10
