"Explore Koh Lanta on a budget" If you are searching the budget hotel on an extremely popular beach of Koh Lanta, we are the right choice. Ocean View Resort nested on our private compound on Klong Dao Beach; three kilometers long beach with white sand and shallow blue sea are also known as the "Family Beach" of Koh Lanta. The beach is at the north most of the island and just a few kilometer from Saladan Town, main pier located where you can find all your traveling conveniences.

Ocean View Resort has 15 bungalows and 12 hotel rooms in total. All the rooms are light, spacious and have attractive balconies attached with a charming view of Andaman Sea. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with western style toilet & hot water. Available both air-conditioning and Fan as well as double and single bed.

ACCOMMODATION

Ocean View Resort offers top quality accommodation for all travelers with cool, clean and spacious rooms and suite to any budget. All rooms have private en-suite facilities. It divided to 2 Beachfront Bungalow, 8 Sea View bungalows, 5 Superior Air-con Rooms, 5 Standard Air-con Room and 7 Standard Fan Room.

Bungalows set in a row from beachfront area deep into resort land. The Rooms set in two stories hotel building at the end. All rooms have private balcony and en-suite bathrooms with western style toilet. All rooms are more spacious which have enough space for add an extra bed or baby cot.

There are altogether 7 rooms located at the ground floor of hotel building. This room is budget with ceiling fan and available both single and double bed. This room is well decorated with hardwood furniture and furnished with fine Thai fabric and handicraft. The bathroom is well decorated with first class material come with western toilet and hot shower. The room facilities included:

:: Standard Air-con Rooms ::

There are altogether 5 rooms located at the second floor of hotel building. The room face west with Mountain View and sunrise from your window. The room available both single and double bed and the size is large enough to add an extra bed comfortably. This room is well decorated with hardwood furniture and furnished with fine Thai fabric and handicraft. The bathroom is well decorated with first class material come with western toilet and hot shower. The room facilities included.

:: Garden View Bungalow ::

There are altogether 4 bungalows set in a row beside beach Seaview Bungalows, this room is well decorated with hardwood furniture and furnished with fine Thai fabric and handicraft ( same as Beachfront Bungalows and Seaview Bungalows ). Bungalows are set 25-80 meters far from the beach. The bungalow is more spacious with 20 sq.m. room size and more extra with two balconies at front and back with declining chair. The bathroom is well decorated with first class material come with bathtub and hot shower.

:: Seaview Bungalows ::

There are altogether 8 bungalows set in a row beside beach front bungalow. Advantage of sea view from your private balcony overlooking the pool, this room is well decorated with hardwood furniture and furnished with fine Thai fabric and handicraft. The bungalow is more spacious with 20 sq.m. room size and more extra with two balconies at front and back with declining chair. The bathroom is well decorated with first class material come with bathtub and hot shower. The room facilities included:

There are only 2 bungalow set right on the beach. You can see the sunset even from your bed in room. The bathroom is well decorated with first class material come with bathtub and hot shower. The room facilities included:

Beachfront Restaurant: Ocean View Restaurant is located at the front of resort area. The dining room is large hip roof and open air with stunning views of the Andaman Sea. Our aim is to present at your table fresh seafood, fish and shellfish, as we seek for excellence from local fisherman.

Here is where you will be able to taste and enjoy Thai, International and India Cuisine prepared by our experience chef. Who is care and selected the best ingredient in its recipes to get original taste of all dishes. One of our most recommend is "Pitta Mussala"; Indias dish which all our guests always repeat order.

Beach Bar: Located just steps away from our restaurant, the oceanfront Beach Bar is an ideal setting for enjoying the Klong Dao Beach scenery while sipping on your favorite tropical beverage, or nibbling on delicious grilled appetizers. This bar open from noon until to late night daily.

25 Decembre 2011 Ingela Hoas	Very good place right on the beach. We recommend a bungalow with front seaview. The staff on the resturang was very gently and nice. We liked it very much and we will come back again. We did´nt like the breakfast so much that,it was included.The same breakfast every morning! Very nice place and staff near the beach. We recommend it. The breakfast was not so good, it was included. We loved koh lanta!	7.6/10
29 Novembre 2011 Kristian F	We stayed in the most expensive Beachfront bungalow, this was a disappointment; No hot water (34 celsius is not hot) and the shower was broken. Repair men fixed the shower hose, but no hot water. We tried to leave the resort earlier, but we had paid 10 days in advance, and the resort owner wouldn t refund ANYTHING if we had left earlier than planned. We were travelling with our 8 month old baby so the hot water is a MUST, but no. And the manager lady was really rude, no refund even we tried to explain to her that with little child you need at least a working bathroom. Way too expensive for the quality they offer. I don t recommend to use this resort! Now I know that nearby you can find a lot better accomodation with this same price.	5.2/10

20 Fevrier 2010 Jan Karlsson	Small and friendly resort, 10 bungalows, rooms in main building. Near (at) beach and minimarket just across the street. Travel agency in main building. Standard breakfast offered at no extra charge. Nice Beach-restaurant with Monday and Thursday specials. Two nearby B.R. as well. Some rocks just outside the resort, but no problems getting a swim. Swimming pool and a massage-tent at site. 30 min or 80 THB from Saladan. Recommended!	6.4/10
31 Decembre 2008 Joern Seidenschnur	Klong Dao beach is the nicest. Hotel is OK, not more, not less. Ko Lanta accomodations during X-Mas time are way too expensive. I paid 2.200 Baht = 50 Euro for a room that should usually cost half of that. And there were still bungalows to rent at other places, for sometimes half the price. Anyway, this is risky during X-Mas weeks.
3 Janvier 2007 Taz Macpherson	Was disappointed as there was no tv in the rooms and the cleaners did not make an effort to clean the room very well, staff attitude in the resturant was rude although the receptionist was most helpfull,not alot of choices of food on the beach front and expensive at times. Unfortunatly it rained 9days out of our 14 so it put a downer on our trip
