Laurent Olivier Ip Wai | my room was on the ground floor with no view. the bathroom was decent by thai standards but the door did not lock as the lock was broken, and there was some cobwebs in the corners of the room. but i guess it comes down to the luck of the draw as my friends got a room upstairs with good natural lighting and functional bathroom lock and all that jazz. we had lunch at the restaurant and while the food is pretty decent, service is terribly slow and the staff speak only basic english. | 6/10 |

mark johnson | Absolutley awful. I booked 4 nights because of the great price, and as soon as i checked in, i checked out again. they were completely unaccomadating to my requests: horrible customer service. no mosquito netting available, no screens in windows, bathroom so small almost unmanageable.... I have been living in northern china and am used to poor hotel rooms.... this was a cut below the rest. never ever again. | 2/10 |

Tatiana Potupchik | I liked this hotel a lot. I leaved it after 2 nights, changed it for another one and then returned. Between other cheap hotels of Railey this one is the best. But you have to remember - room with the balcony is much better. And not all the rooms have hot water. Good luck!! | 6.6/10 |

Raymond Sammarco | Good location and service. Room fans are placed differently in each room. Ours was right over the bed so it was ok. Good value for the money. the stairs/ladder up are very steep. | 7.4/10 |

claire blandford | Poor value for money, room crawling with ants, windows wouldnt close properly and extremely hard bed. The shower would only work sporadically, cutting out every time, often half way through a shower for a minimum of 2 mins. | 4.6/10 |

KOSTAS | The room (Sparing Fan Room Double bed) was horrible. Dirty, badly maintained with mice to pass around. Many times we had no water, and for this room have spent about 40 euros per night.

Kathy Phan Do | customer service during check-in was ok, not as helpful as the other places. The location is pretty decent considering the beach is only a 3 minute walk and all of the beach bars and restaurants are on the same side as the resort. There were way too many mosquitoes in my room though...had to spray 90% deet on my sheets before going to bed | 6.2/10 |

Anders Frisk | The ya-ya resort is a nice hotel/resort with a great location on Railay east. We had a simple but good room. The staff arent the most friendly but still ok! Breakfast ok but not so much more.

Marianne falkborg | the staff at yaya hotel is a bit strange they dont understand so much english, when you talk with them it feels like they are asleep. We had to remind the reception every day that we wanted our room cleaned.And there was always something missing towels or soap or something else. The breakfast service was slow and no flexibility and also hard to make them understand what you wanted to eat. The rooms are dark with terrases in a dark ally. But the massage at first floor some of them where really good. | 4.2/10 |

Watthana Wangwutphinyo | The room we stayed in for the first night had an A/C that kept beeping the whole night. Also, we could not sleep much because of the loud music from a nearby beach bar. I requested a room change and got a better one but still could hear the music at night. | 6/10 |

Robert Scott | Be aware!! when booking through this website!! On their hotel list it says Ya Ya Resort room 450 BHT inc breakfast this is not true. I was totally embarrassed when I turned up for breakfast in the morning when the unpleasant staff told me the free breakfast only for rooms with A/C. We knew the room wasn t going to be a villa due to the price but for a so called resort the room was very poor especially the bathroom which had leaking taps mould on the floor and walls and the paint peeling off the walls and door!! We had a mosquito net which had more holes in it than good material and when I asked the staff for a new one they said no so we got eaten alive by mosquito s and to top it off bed bug s. We had a couple of drinks while watching a movie and met a couple of people which was nice then the bill came and we were about to pay full price when two of the girls pulled out a 10% discount card given to all customers each day of stay at the resort and guess what we didn t get one of them and I had pre booked 3 night s accommodation and paid more than the girls did and had a totally worse room. One other guy we met got our room the day before we arrived at Ya Ya Resort and complained that the room was a disgrace so they gave him a better room. Luckily for him. Just a couple of other bad points, the end rooms unfortunately the washing room is underneath so the staff are their pretty early and don t seem to care about noise early in the morning or leaving the huge washing bags at the bottom of the stairs so you have to jump over them to get away. All and all we had the worst experience while travelling since we started 15 months ago, gutted as my 1st time to a beach in Thailand and I ve been waiting and dreaming of this for 10 years. This is the 1st time I ve written something bad about accommodation and really hope I don t have to again to warn other s. | 3.2/10 |
