Howdy
Relaxing Hotel is perfectly designed to be both a Thai
traditional house and modern accommodation. So, it is a guarantee that
you will feel like home when staying here. We provide for you all high
tech facilitations (including wireless internet) to ensure a wonderful
stay for our guests. The hotel is situated conveniently at the center
of Krabi Town, the transit point to other tourist attractions and provinces.
Within 10 kilometers from the hotel, you can reach most destinations,
both for tourism and business purposes.
Even though it is located downtown,
the scenery around the hotel is exquisite because there are mountains in the distance and shady gardens with a variety of beautiful plants.
In front of the hotel building, there is a good-sized waterfall and nice fountain, so you can hang out here and feel relaxed even more!
Howdy Relaxing Hotel is conveniently located downtown, but our guests can be sure of a peaceful stay and being away from all busy things.
ACCOMMODATION
Our rooms are bigger than usual and up to 3 or 4 guests can stay together comfortably in one room.

We stayed one night before heading to Koh Lanta, which wasn t necessary because we discovered the ferry was pretty quick and easy. The hotel was very nice but the restaurant wasn t open for dinner. You need to take the free hotel shuttle into town at 7:00pm in order to get food. Breakfast was 150 baht when booking the budget rooms.

The hotel so nice for the interior design... but please add more variety for the menu especially HALAL (for muslim)food.. we can eat only the spaghetti on the menu...service is very good and punctual...

Regarding the Howdy Relaxing Hotel, it is ready a very relaxing place.
The staffs is very friendly and helpful, but there is only few staffs that can speak English.They also help us by writing the Thai language so that we can just show it to the bus driver where we want to go.
They also provide tranport to town daily which we think is good to the guest.
We also have a small problem on the way back to the hotel in the evening after we finish our visit from the Tiger Cave, they even arrange the transport to pick us , of course there is some charge which we compare to the others public transport it is just a little high but some taxi driver charge even higher compare to the hotel.
Anyway, we re happy to stay at the Howdy Hotel,except the location.

Nice hotel with helpful and kind stuff. The ideal place for relaxation, the pool is nice and quiet.
The only bad thing is that it s TOOO far away from everything. You can t walk to anywere, you have to have a bike, pay taxis or wait for buses. The hotel crew are nice by taking you whereever they have to go (for ex. to the airport if they have an arrival) but it s not enought.

Useful shuttle service from the bus stop and to the city at night and back
VERY poor breakfast
not very clean (cockroaches...)

Nice medium level hotel suite for Thai family.
New and clean. Breakfast was optimum for such
hotel size but , the hotel manage to serve a single disk food instead of buffet this is good idea.
Swimming pool was enough for my kid to have fum.
Hotel Staff are very friendly and support.

Nice hotel. Very clean and spacious. Nice just out of the town location and easy to get into town with the free hotel transport. This hotel is ideal for relaxing.

Room is okay. But hotel is so so. small pool but nice for children. Too big air condition in room, so very noisy from air condition , can not sleep well. Brakefast was set as set menu and have only 2 choice, amarican stye and Thai stye (boil rice) and serve with coffee. Not so good for brakefast. Overall, hotel is so so , high price if compare with others hotel in Krabi town.

FANTASTIC room, FANTASTIC pool FANTASTIC serviceminded staff and FANTASTIC garden.
Free shutle to and from town and airport.
The only minus I can think of is the breakfast. But that did not matter cause the rest of the stay was fantastic!

I love the garden view room of Howdy Relaxing Hotel. It has a huge cosy king size bed in a large room. The view is calming. The water though, smells a bit funny, have to let it run for some time before the stench goes off. Breakfast is disappointing as we only have 2 dishes to choose from. You can t have the same dishes day in day out, do change the menu or at least add more choices to the menu. Staffs there were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a good stay

Nice clean and small hotel. We stayed for only one night, but will probably be back. Stayed in a deluxe garden view with 3 extra beds and still lots of space:-) Thai-breakfast was very good.

nice and cozy new hotel, abit distant from downtown,but if you are heading for beach, you won t care that.
wonderful reception lady Su, she even offered her bike for us to go to downtown restraunt for dinner because it was late and their s was closed.

Although Howdy looks lovely from the pictures it is way too far out of town and from the beaches. Although the hotel provided a swift and free mini bus into the city- for us that took away the charm of adventure and discovering Krabi for ourselves.
The rooms are lovely but very dark - we felt a little depressed being here. It is located next to the highway so it doesn t feel like a holiday hotel. Unless you are a local who wants to escape the city then for sure stay here but if, lke us, you are a tourist who wants to be in middle of it all don t stay here, far too difficult to get anywhere, far away from everything.
The hotel would be perfect if it was closer to the heart of Karbi.
The staff were gracious and friendly, we had a prompt check-in with a room straight away. The complimentary breakfasts weren t much chop with only two choices on the menu.
If I were to go back to Krabi I wouldn t stay here again, I would stay down in Ao Nang which we ended up doing - we left Howdy after one night (we were meant to stay for 3) and moved to a beautiful beach resort in Ao Nang.
So choose wisely and look at a map of where this hotel is in proximity to Krabi city and the beach which we didn t do!

Nice place to start Daytrips from but not as central in Krabi-town as the homepage says. It is about 10 Minutes away by TukTuk but not really a problem. The Hotel itself is ok, the rooms are very nice and very clean and the service is very friendly. Next time we would take a room with balkony!! We would recommend this hotel for daytrips but not for Holiday at the Beach. Next Beach is about 20 Minutes away from hotel!!
