8 Avril 2012 James Canavan | The resort was undergoing some rectification building works during our stay including extensive tree lopping adjacent our accommodation so noise during the day was an issue as well as scattered debri. Otherwise, the resort has a great location, good food and friendly service/staff. I believe that the accommodation and other resort facilities however are well over due for a face lift as they appear well worn. | 6.6/10 |
28 Octobre 2011 george inkster | the only thing that we found was the lack of english at but other than that we would stay there again and would recommend this place as it is very quite and peacefull | 6.6/10 |
25 Janvier 2011 Helen Martinsson | This hotel was perfect for staying one night just för flying from Trat. The food was verry good and cheap. The was alote of moskitos | 5.6/10 |
20 Janvier 2011 Casper Bilsted | We were very surprised when we checked in. The resort seemed deserted. Were we the only guests? The bar by the pool area had not been open for some time and everything seemed to be covered in spiderweb. The staff was nice but didn t speak much English. The door to our first room couldn t be locked and inside it smelled like stale water. So did the second one. At first we were afraid to eat at the restaurant (how could the food be fresh if the had no guests?) but actually the food turned out to be some of the best we had on our three weeks in Thailand. Bravo! | 3.6/10 |
31 Decembre 2010 Mr.Kevin Pollet | A lovely resort but half the staff is very friendly and the other half is grompy.
The resort is nice but far from everything. | 6.8/10 |
30 Juin 2010 Han-Li Tsai-Christoffersen | Banpu Resort is a very quiet resort with mostly Thai guests visiting for various arrangements. We had the Banpu suite with two bedroom, which are rather large and clean rooms, however, no daylight windows in the rooms. The facilities are worn down and need renovation. Staff is very friendly. The place is offside, but for 150 Baht the hotel brings you forth and back to Trat, a little town, where you can shop a little. The Banpu restaurant, however, was the best experience. Though service was not an impressive standard, the food was truly authentic for the Trat province with crabs and other seafood. Cheap and very tasty - we enjoyed eating there. | 6/10 |
18 Avril 2010 Dr. Othniel Mintang Yila | Friendly and courteous staff | 10/10 |
14 Decembre 2009 LAURENCE HUGHES | one of the most beautiful and relaxing places i have stayed at. would recommend this resort to anyone who was looking for an idea place to stay at. | 10/10 |
24 Octobre 2009 Jack F. Schoeller | power failure on arrival.
breakfast poor!!
location perfect good restaurants nearby-you need a car or transport!! | 7.6/10 |
12 Avril 2009 Gwenael leroux | I must admit that when we took a local taxi to the hotel we were a bit worried as it was quite a long way from town, but really, it is an Exquisite place!
The bungalows are very well maintained all on piles with flowers hanged on the outside. The restaurant overlooking the bay is Superb and the staff very helpful.
Would stay there again no problem, especially for US 25!
30 Mars 2009 Thomas f sikorski | A little out of the way, but nice concept, good food and smoothies (fruit shakes) to die for.
2 Fevrier 2009 Brian Robinson | Very peaceful hotel tucked away in the mangrove swamps with bungalows on stilts over the sea. Fairly basic room and bathroom furnishings but the setting more than compensates. Lovely pool and lake and an excellent restaurant for dinner. Staff are helpful and attentive. Only downsides are serious mosquito attacks - go armed with a good repellent - and very average breakfast. Overall very good value for money.
28 Juin 2008 Khun Suppapinya Chandrasardula | It s really worth for money spent. Our family stay one night in the resort (Lake View). Here is very peaceful, quite and having own decoration style. The staffs are friendly. Room is big, clean and provide enough facilities for us. Also bathroom is lovely, swimming pool not so big but my kid was enjoyed with for long hours. Breakfast not variety becuase there are few guests, anyway we re served with good and enough food.
We will back again for sure.
27 Mars 2008 natasha fairfax | Banpur Resort and Spa is a lovely hotel on the mainland in Trat. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There were alot of mosquitos due to the fact that the hotel is positioned over water so be prepared with your repellant. Also be aware that if you fly into Trat there is no public/meter taxis available from the airport which is owned by Bangkok Air. They will try and charge you 1600 baht for a one way transfer to the Hotel!!!! The better option is to get them to give you a lift to the ferry wharf 200 baht per person and then get a taxi from there abour 450 baht. The resort is about 35 minutes drive from the wharf.
12 Mars 2007 Sally Parkes | This is Banpu Resort & Spa on the mainland near Trat town. I was going to Koh Mak and on arriving on the last flight to Trat there was not ferry until the next day. this hotel is half and hour from Laem Ngob Pier. The hotel itself is set around a small lake, and also by the sea in mangroves. My room was big clean with an efficient shower, WC etc. It was lakeside. The place was not busy, and I found my stay there very peaceful, looking across calm waters. there was a good size swimming pool, and massage etc. available.
