retreat in this unspoilt region of Thailand.
Trat airport is a convenient 60 minutes drive away whilst Bangkok
can be reached in less than 4 hours by express road systems
Contemporary spacious and comfortable readily describe our great suites.
Each and every one enjoys at least 62 sq. meters of living space
divided up into the bedroom, bathroom, and resort living room.
Suites boast spacious terraces or balconies whilst our villas also
offer and expanse of private sundeck complete with personal jacuzzi
spa.

ACCOMMODATION
Spacious and contemporary, resort accommodations are all suites comprising
one bedroom, private bathroom, and a separate living room.
All 44 suites offer 52 sq. meters of indoor and outdoor vacation living space and are located in either resort
style 2 storey buildings or within individual villas.
Each suite offers individual air-conditioning to the master bedroom,
ceiling fans, flat screen colour TV with satellite channels and in-house
movies, personal DVD player, refrigerator, mini-bar, tea and coffee
making facilities, in-room safe, and hairdryer.
An added feature of the Honeymoon Suites and Beachfront Villas is an outside
Jacuzzi spa located on the private terrace either to the ocean front or river facing.
Each suite offers either one over-sized king bed or two double beds
which are ideal for families. The living room space is suitable for
an extra bed for our larger parties.
Tropical Suite
Each suite features the space of 46 square meters, comfortably furnished with over sized king bed.
Offering individual air-conditioning in both rooms, ceiling fan in living room, flat screen colour TV with satellite channels,
personal DVD player, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safe, and hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers.
All doors and windows have fly-screens for those who don't like to sleep with air-condition.
Tropical Family Suite
Each suite features the space of 47 square meters, comfortably furnished with two double beds.
Offering individual air-conditioning to the master bedroom, partly in living room, ceiling fan,
flat screen colour TV with satellite channels, personal DVD player, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities,
in-room safe, and hairdryer bathrobe and slippers.
All doors and windows have fly-screens for those who don't like to sleep with air-condition.
Honeymoon Suite
Each villa features the space of 46 square meters, comfortably furnished with over sized pole king bed
including individual Jacuzzi spa on a spacious sun deck. Offering individual air-conditioning to the master bedroom,
ceiling fan in living room, flat screen colour TV with satellite channels, personal DVD player, mini-bar,
tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safe, and hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers.
All doors and windows have fly-screens for those who don't like to sleep with air-condition.
Beach Front Villa
Each villa features the space of 52 square meters, comfortably furnished with pole king bed or
two double beds (perfect for families or friends) including individual outdoor Jacuzzi spa on the patio with
additional private sundeck right on the secluded beach, overlooking the ocean.
Offering individual air-conditioning in both rooms, ceiling fans ceiling fan in living room, flat screen colour TV

Azure is a stylish and contemporary beach side all day restaurant serving
a comprehensive breakfast buffet, delicious daytime snacks and meals,
and a Mediter-Asian dinner menu featuring Italian Fresco, succulent seafood,
and Thai cuisine.
Remark : Breakfast served during 6:30 - 10:30 hrs.

Breezes Beach Bar Type of Cuisine:
Cocktails, Drinks, and Light Snacks
A comprehensive range of delicious cocktails and drinks are served
poolside together with a wide selection of snacks and meals. Our beach
side bar is a real barefoot experience serving refreshing drinks, cool
cocktails and thirst quenching sundowners. All available whilst you
wiggle toes in the sand and listen to lapping warm waters.

With sweeping views of the popular tourist resort of Koh Chang,
Centara Chaan Talay Resort & Villas Trat is in the far south east corner
of Thailand and a short journey to the border with Cambodia.
Trat airport (providing daily air service from Bangkok) is a short
60 minute drive from the resort. By comfortable road journey with good
motorways and road systems, Bangkok is reached in about 4 hours.
The resort sits majestically and exclusively within a sweeping bay.
Gentle lapping water and sugar powder sand are complemented by lush
tropical foliage which provides excellent sun shade.
The town of Trat is located approximately 30 minutes from the resort,
whilst Koh Chang can be accessed by regular and frequent ferry and boat
service.

Inte värt pengarna, dyrt. Priserna i restaurangen var höga, jämfört med övriga Thailand. Dyraste under våra tre veckor i Thailand. Personalen kunde dålig engelska. Önskvärt med ett mini markt i närheten.
Vi var tvungna att ha en extra säng i vårt rum som kostade extra till ingen nytta fastän det fanns två dubbelsängar. Dåligt! Kanske därför det var lite folk på hotellet??

The Centara is a nice hotel with nice staff, wonderful swimming pool, right at the seaside, but unfortunately it has staff at reception who do not understand English. The tube under the washing bassin in the bath room in our suite burst one morning, hot water came out with a lot of power filling the suite with water. I called reception and got the answer that she will bring us breakfast. We booked 4th till 7th Aug, but stayed only till the 6th. When we arrived the staff at reception told us that she will check with www.reservation-hotel-thailande.com if we get some money back. The next day and when we checked out, she not even remembered that she had offered to check it. At night there is unsufficient light to find the way to the room, specially shortly before getting to the room there is a step you cannot see at all in the dark. The Centara was described as a hotel with nice spa, but the spa stays closed till end of Aug. We should have been informed about that.

À great resort to just hang out and do nothing.
It was nice rooms. And we had a nice view.
The negative: The price for food and drinks
In The resturang is way to High.
There is no motorcykle to rent.In The resort,
If you want to go and explode hat lek
For à family with with children. Prepare
For à High cost for food and drinks.
I am not sure to recomend to à budget family.

The hotel is far away from Trat town. A advice for this would help for planing trips.

Hotel is nice, great rooms, beautiful beach, great for children, perfect beach facilities (boule, kayaks, windsurfing, volleyball and many more, all for free), however service wasn t the best, e. g. traveling with 3 children and returning to the rooms after lunch, the rooms were never made, even with hanging the sign outside the door. Food at the restaurant was absolutely average, nothing special at all, but far too expensive, definitely overprized. We ate at the resort next door which had great Thai food and fair prices. And the food was definitely of better quality there. We loved the beach there and if we go back to that hotel, it will be because of the beach which was fanstastic.
