Airport Transfer Motive Cottage Resort is 1
hour away, by car, from Phuket International Airport. On the day of
your arrival, do not be troubled with finding your way or taking a bus
with your loads of luggage to Khaolak. Even on the way back to your
sweet home, we are more than happy to keep your comforts lasting till
the end of your wonderful trip, from Khaolak to the airport.
At Motive Cottage Resort, airport transfer is available, just make your
reservation a day in advance and let us begin your comforts from the
first step of your visiting.
By Air: Thai Airways(Public)
Company Limited has many flights daily between Bangkok and Phuket, as
well as Bangkok Airway, PB Air, Air Asia, etc. Take a bus from Phuket
International Airport to Phang Nga, a distance of 58 kilometers.
However, for your convenience, Motive Cottage Resort also provides
airport transfer service. For more information please kindly contact
our office.
By Bus: The government enterprise,
Transportation Company Limited operates daily buses between Bangkok-Phang
Nga. The bues depart from southen Bus Terminal on Borom Ratchoni Road
(Pinklao Nakornchaisri) Kilometer No.3. The buses are of VIP, Air-conditioned
Standard1, and Standard2 and Non Air-Conditioned.
By
Car: The route from Bangkok using Highway No.4 via Petchaburi
- Prachuap Khiri Khan-Chumporn - Kraburi district -Kaper district of
Ranong - Kuraburi district - Takua Pa district, and 25 km away from
Takua Pa district, turns left at Kilimeter No.56-57 on Highway No.4
(Thaimuang - Takua Po).

I had really great time, the hotel was nice, our room small but cosy, clean, A/C, kettle, TV with english channels. Basic but tasty buffet breakfast, small but clean pool, free sunbeds, pool towels. 15-20 min to the beach. Friendly staff, great pool bar

The room was o.k. Nothing more and nothing less. First we had a room on the ground floor, and the shower didn t work, the tv didn t work and you couldn t sit outsite without being stared at by the other costumers, cause it was in the middle of the walking area to the other rooms.
Luckily we could change rooms the other day, and there we sat very cosy on our balcony.
I thought the breakfast was very poor, and on the fruit at the breakfast were many flies, due to not covering the fruit with some plastic or something like that. The staff on the other hand was very frienly and helpful.
Overall I would give the room a 7, the breakfast a 6- and the staff a 9.

It was a little bit away from the beach, maybe 15 min indstead of 5 as the description says and the pool was not so clean and not with so many sunbeds.
But the room was very cool and nice.

The rooms were quite expensive but very clean and the maids came round every day. It is about 15mins walk from the beach but is very well situated. All in all a lovely place to stay

We enjoyed our two stays at this rather new hotel, Motive Cottage Resort. We experienced: Clean room with a comfortable bed, clean swimming pool and good standard breakfast. The staff was very helpful and assisted us on many issues; car rental, power adapter, etc. Perfect for our budget! We would like to stay there again.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, but we booked a Deluxe Cottage Suite which was no different than a standard room. In other words, all the rooms are the same, the only difference was we were on the top floor, near the end of the hall. The hotel staff didn t speak much English, but they were helpful just the same. It was a decent place to stay, but next time I d prefer to stay on the beach. This place was on the main drag, a little bit far from the beach.
