EAKM | I have to say we weren t expecting huge luxury at this resort but the arrival at its entrance in what amounts to a carport, did surprise! Nervously we made our way to the restaurant which is the welcome space & communicated quite well with the staff. They were without exception charming & gentle & did really try to help, though when the power went out in the middle of the night(no air-conditioning), they were nowhere to be seen. We ended up taking buckets of water from the swimming pool to flush our loos. The food there was pretty good & the restaurant is right on the beach giving the place a lovely easy-going tropical feel. The staff were really lovely but the resort is nowhere near luxury. I do believe however that it s unique on Phuket in that it is right on the beach & you feel like you re living amongst the locals giving us a lovely introduction to Thailand as it was the beginning of a much longer trip. | 6.8/10 |

Susan Meakin | This resort is lovely and quiet and in a nice setting. The rooms are cleaned daily and they also provide bath and beach towels. The beds are very comfortable, and they have constant hot water. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside was the limited menu in the restaurant, but there are many good places to eat nearby. | 8/10 |

Janet Dove | A lovely laid-back resort right on the beach front. Friendly staff, good restaraunt. Ideal for young children with small pool and beach access. Snorkelling at White Island not to be missed. Quaint bungalows and landscaping. Would definately return. | 7.2/10 |

Yana Kameneva | There is beautiful garden between bungalows and the beach. The hotel located in the end of the Bang Tao bay. There is strongly pronounced ebb and flow, but you can sweem all the time. It s better to have car or motorbike to drive round the island. | 8.6/10 |

Gunji Banjo | Magnificent location! Very kind and hardworking staff! But, The entire facilities are old and looks falter. The doors do not closed firmly giving free acess to mosquito though locked. Some rooms have no safe. The price is extremely expensive for this facility although the time we stayed was a peak period. It may be worthwhile to stay if you consider paying for the loaction. | 6.6/10 |

BOURNAZEL | Pour ceux qui aime la mer et les pieds dans l eau : nous conseillons !
Nous y avons passé deux nuits, dans des bungalow en front de mer et c était merveilleux. Le prix se justifie plus par la situation de l hotel que de la qualité des chambres qui sont biens mais sans plus. | 7.4/10 |

GOFFIN | We booked for 4 nights but stay only one !!! It must be certainly a nice place during the hot season but not in low season (most of all shops and restaurants are closed.
Swimming pool is not like the picture, it is very little ...
Some bungalows are old and some new ...
No lobby. The restaurant is very dark.

Yulia Vinogradova | Very pleasant small hotel on the beach. Hotel has 14 rooms located along a beach. Between a bungalow and a beach a beautiful garden with the big sun umbrellas and sunbeds. We recommend this place for lonely quiet rest on seacoast. An excellent beach, a remarkable place for bathing. Excellent staff. | 10/10 |

Anoesjka Timmermans | A jewel of a place to stay. Very friendly and relaxed staff, quiet and natural retreat. I thought it to be the most beautiful setting (small, comfortable and right at the beach) of the entire bay.
Bangtao is a lovely, authentic place, much unlike the madness of Patong.
I will return for sure, with my kids too. | 9.6/10 |

Hans Gutscher | We had a very pleasant stay at this small hotel just on the beach, at the very end of Bangtaobeach. The bungalows are comfortable with a small terrace towards the beautiful garden and just a few steps to the beach. Unfortunately, they don t have mosquitonets at the windows so that you cannot open them at night and you are dependant on the air condition. The restaurant has a very nice terrace just on the seaside with beautiful scenery. The meals are of good quality, prefer the seafood, grilled or cooked with different sauces to other more westerner or rather american meals. The staff is very very kind and helpful. We can recommend this address to anybody and shall turn back ourselves whenever we shall plan to go to Phuket. | 7.4/10 |

Carijn G-M | Very nice small resort, perfect bungalow located directly on the beach. The people at the resort were very friendly, helpfull and kind. The restaurant was good enough and in the small village are also enough other nice places to go to. All in all we can recommend this place to anybody. | 10/10 |

Julie | Rooms excellent, Breakfast good, obliging and keen to give us what we wanted to eat. Dinner at night average, only dined there the once as a result. Good to know that when the tide is in you cannot walk along the beach. Wonderful to sit on the edge of the sea and eat. Only place we saw that truly had bungalows so close to the sea. I would have liked to see the staff dressed more carefully in clean ironed looking tropical garb. A bit scruffy some of them but super and friendly. We were the only ones there and for a total rest - yes we would go back. Value for money. They need to be sure they do not let there standards drop just because it was the low season. | |

Stefanie Hofer | This little resort with 15 bungalows is run by an extremely friendly and hostile family: They readily took care for us and our needs in a pragmatic and non-complicated way which certainly extends the level of larger, more anonymous hotels. The drinks in the refrigerator in our bungalow with A/C were free and daily replaced, as well as a free choice of different kinds of breakfast (from full american to toasts, waffels and fresh fruits etc). The cleaning service in the bungalows with daily replacement of towels and linen was excellent, the beautiful garden right at the coastline stunning - only 20 steps to the sea. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service quality and local circumstances - highly recommendable also to families with kids. It s better and easy to get a rental car over the reception (only 1000 Baht per day in April) to have the opportunity to visit other beaches, markets and temples around. The car was new with an adequate size for 4 people and AC, no problems. The adjacent restaurant focusses on excellent sea food and thai food can also be highly recommended - just point out that you do NOT want to get your main dish spicy - otherwise you ll sweat and breathe heavily. The pool is tiny, but you have the beach right beside it, so that our daughters still enjoyed it. | |

Royston Walter Bannister | Very nice quiet hotel right on the beach. Beautiful beach of soft white sand, which one can walk on for miles. The accomodation is rustic but very comfortable, although it could do with better lighting in the bedroom. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful and Jay, the proprietor, gave us a lift to the hospital when we needed to go there. | |

PAKHOMOVA ELENA | Хочется вернуться в этот отель!! Мы нашли там то, что так хотели получить от отдыха: уединение, слияние с природой, красота, полное расслабление, тишина. Удачно расположен. Рядом находится много ресторанчиков и магазинчиков. Персонал-чудесный. Хозяева отеля встречают вас и иногда разговаривают с вами на отвлеченные темы) На территории отеля находится лучший ресторан бухты.
